Just got my 2^nd beard trim from Benito here (1^st time also got a great haircut), and this place is great. Clean shop, comfortable chairs, good conversation. My beard looks great — exactly how I asked him to cut it, which I haven’t gotten from some other barbers.
Recommend coming here, 100%.

I usually get my haircuts taken care of in house (GF is a hairstylist), but sometimes have to find somewhere else to get a trim. Today was such an occasion.
Ive been to one hairstyling establishment in my Sherman Oaks neighborhood previously and had an overall bad experience, so I gambled and went with a nearby barbershop. While charming. and rustic… the cut was quite unsatisfactory. I was going to let it be, but repeated double takes in the mirror convinced me I needed to get it fixed. Quickly.
The Trojan for the win. A quick Unilocal browse suggested this establishment was my best bet. and I was not disappointed. My dude Benny hooked me up. my fade and neck were wack and he made me right. They even fit me in right before closing time.
The service was great; atmosphere, friendly; and the aesthetic, clean and classy. Everything I’ve been looking for in a barbershop. I will definitely be returning. even with a free home cut on the table.

I usually get my hair cut at the salon my wife goes to. I needed to get a cut for a business meeting and decided to give Trojan a try based on the positive Unilocal reviews. Walked in at lunch time and Benito gave me an absolutely perfect haircut.
Excellent experience, and I will be going back.

I was on the hunt for a friend that said he couldn’t find a good barbershop in the Valley. He was driving 45 minutes to get a straight razor shave that he said was nothing short of amazing.
I told him I was going to find him a good barbershop.
Well I did!
I was on my way to lunch, and I walked by Trojan.
I saw a couple young men sitting in barber chairs. I asked them if they did straight razor shaves? They enthusiastically said yes!
I made an appointment and called my friend and told him what I had found.
I returned, sat in Benito’s chair, and proceeded to have what I would call a quintessential barbershop experience!
Not only was the straight razor shave unbelievable, but I loved sitting in the chair for an hour just shooting the breeze with Benito’s father, and some other patrons. His brother (partner) is also a very nice guy!
I left with a haircut that was dead on, and a shave that will probably last me for three days it’s so close.
I grew up having Sunday dinners down the street at my grandparents house, thus I am very familiar, and fond of the area.
The fact that Benito and his brother bought an existing shop that had been there for years, and are carrying on the torch is something that I find to be very appealing. In someways, sentimental to me.
I now will be taking my five year old son there for his cuts.
So, much like my Sunday dinners at my grandparent’s house, I think I might have found yet another tradition that will build upon my memories of that area.
I contacted my friend and told him, you ain’t driving 45 minutes anymore buddy! I’ve found your shop!

WOW! I got hands down the best cut I have ever gotten in my life. I was referred here by a friend of mine and honestly could not have been more satisfied. I would always go to Floyds for a haircut and beard trim and would walk out paying 40 dollars and a bloody face and uneven beard. Thankfully those days are gone as I have found my new haircut spot with professional barbers and great prices! Ask for Benny ! You won’t regret it.

What a great find. Was able to come in soon after calling and received an excellent haircut, just what I asked for. Great conversation, easy parking, mad skills, what more could you ask for? Keep in mind that they only accept cash! But there are ATMs near by.

Solid Haircut. Had to find a new place due to work and checked this place out. $ 25 gets you a nice haircut and a shave, you definitely get what you pay for. The place is clean and the barbers are professional. Left very pleased and will be returning.

First time here, Benny cut my hair and beard. It was probably the best haircut I’ve ever had. I was a mess and he fixed it easily.

My barber Benny was very friendly and quick but more importantly; attentive and careful.
After a thorough inspection at home I can say that my hair looks perfectly symmetrical (a huge plus in my book)

Called in to see if they had room for a walk in and was told to come right in. I manage Sushi by Katsu-​ya across the street and haven’t had much time off lately so finding this place so close to my work was great. Armando gave me a quick trim and suggested that I get the back of my head tapered as opposed to squared off like I usually get it. I love it tapered! Clean facility, comfy barber chair, straight razor shave and pleasant conversation; what more could u want?

Fantastic experience. Benny cut my teenaged son’s hair. Son showed him a photo of the haircut he wanted and Benny nailed it. Looks great. This is a family owned and run shop and it’s obvious Benny and Armando love what they do. Gotta try ‘em if you’re looking for a barber.

I’ve had ‘em all… the $ 200 cuts down to the $ 10 Supercuts. This place is the best. Strange to me that if you want someone who can give you the perfect fade you need to go old school rather than a high-​end salon. But whatever gets the job done.
I’d never been to this place before and was welcomed so quickly upon walking in I didn’t even have to break stride on the way to a chair. Everyone was friendly, cool and professional. After moving to this side of town and getting butchered at a salon, I’m so glad I found this place. My new spot.

Got my hair cut from Armando two years ago and have never let anyone else cut my hair since. He’s a great barber and knows how to treat his clients right. Highly recommend to anyone. The barbershop is really nice and clean. If you’re a looking for a fresh and clean cut this is the place to go.
