It’s devastating for parents to find out that their son or daughter has been diagnosed with autism, a pervasive developmental disease that affects 1⁄150 babies born today. Autism isn’t discovered till about age 3, but with agencies such as Working With Autism, there is hope for these parents.
WWA is a NPA (non public agency) that offers services such as behavioral intervention therapy at home and school, occupational therapy, etc. Behavioral intervention therapy has been proven to help children adapt to their ever changing environments which can be scary and also frustrating because of their need for sameness, and routine.
There are many agencies out there similar to what WWA does, but what makes them stand out is their professionalism, the training they provide for their employees, and the dedication they provide to each individual family.
