Because of dr yadegar not fixing my back properly almost a year and a half ago i now need 2 more back surgeries. One right after the other. And apparently he used the wrong thing to fuse my back. I now have to get it removed during my second surgery. Dr yadegar is very arrogant and was not liked by me my husband and my best friend.

My husband was admitted to the hospital in April in intense pain and was unable to walk. The results from an MRI showed: degenerative arthritis, spinal stenosis, bulging disc and a fracture. He was afraid he wouldn’t be able to walk again. His physician recommended a neurosurgeon as he needed back surgery. We were very concerned to say the least about who would preform the surgery. After some research and weighing the pros and cons we chose Dr. Sasan Yadegar. My husband is able to walk slowly and will be in pain for sometime. We are so grateful to Dr. Yadegar(and his staff) for his expertise, caring and compassion through this difficult time.

I finally had authorization from my insurance to his office. The Inglewood Office was full but the staff was able to get all of us in good time. Dr. Yadeger reviewed my MRI results with me and did not mind showing it again to my husband. I was glad that surgery was not needed and he explained throughly how to address my condition. I’m slowly improving but it is on the right direction.

Horrific surgeon with pending lawsuits… avoid at all costs. He will diagnose you wrong and conclude his reports with false information. I have never recovered from my back surgery.

I was referred to this doctor by my back specialist, I was able to get an appointment in just a few days. When I walked into his office, I immediately was uneasy, there were copious signs about various fees for even the most incidental items, such as filling out the forms one would need to process a worker’s comp injury claim or the little one-page form for a handicap placard. If you’re having neurosurgery, believe me, there’s plenty of cash coming the surgeon’s way. After waiting over a half hour, one of the office staff told me that the doctor doesn’t accept my health plan(Blue Cross PPO) and that I would need to pay at least an extra thousand dollars out-of-pocket. I declined and asked for my films. The doctor then came to the window to let me know that«no doctors in the San Fernando Valley» accept my plan as payment in full. Is this collusion? Why wasn’t I asked for my payment information when I made the appointment? I just got the sense that he’s in it for the money and didn’t feel comfortable about the entire situation, especially after checking out his credentials. I’m now under the care of Cedars Sinai and couldn’t feel more confident about the doctors and forthcoming outcomes.
