Maybe they should put some money into having a proper sign so people can find it without having to call or walk around in an area already pretty sketchy — if that’s the first impression, the rest should speak for itself.

We had a freakin’ BLAST at Chameleon for Karaōke on a Saturday night. The drinks are delicious and priced well, and I would gladly return to guzzle many a «martini» in the future. The martini list is never-ending, and the bartender will whip you up something to your specific tastes if it proves too daunting to choose. Though I did not order or eat food, it looked awesome, and I will definitely dive in next time. Table service was short, but I got the impression there was a bit of a schtick to it– always attentive though, and quick to return with drinks and the offer of another round. The owner/bartender(I think) stopped by our table to check in, and was extremely friendly. The décor here has a decidedly ‘90s-living-room theme to it(lots of cushy couches, arm chairs and coffee tables with their own little enclaves, heavy on hunter green, burgundy and wrought iron) but I find that it has a cozy, kitchy feel to it that I absolutely LOVE. The crowd was on the older side, but had a few younger professionals/artists/performers mixed in. Very supportive for Karaōke, which was run by your grandma and her best friend who constantly pumped you up and encouraged you during your performance, and we had A LOT of fun. Go in a group, don’t take anything too seriously, and you won’t be disappointed. Warning: CASHONLY(there’s a bank/ATM across the parking lot, no biggie). Long story short, WEWILLRETURN!

First of all it is hard to find. It is on the second floor and not well marked but consider it a hidden gem. I was here for a work party so we had the place to ourselves, I would think it could get crowded, otherwise, but lots of comfy seating which alone sets it apart from other bar/lounges. The drink menu is extensive and the owner’s knowledge of how to mix a balanced drink is extensive and freely shared. I had a delicious Cilantro chili Lime martini that was delighfully different and very easy to drink. My husband had 2 mystery drinks fruity and sweet and sour, that were also quite delicious. I also had a glass of Malbec that was tasty. We sampled several of their appetizers as part of the party, the brushetta was particularly tasty. Overall I think the biggest drawback as a whole is the location. Go into the parking lot and to the right. A bigger sign would be great.

First time here, had a dragontini. It was HORRIBLE but in a fun way, and i was duly warned. Very spicy and very bitter. It was my first martini ever. My second was… i didn’t know what it was called but it was good. It was nearly black and tasted like pineapples. Staff is nice, GREAT music.

Nice quiet place for a fancy martini. A bit pricey for Endicott($ 7+ each drink) and honestly a bit expensive for a cash only place anywhere. Soft jazz most of the time that I would only play to fall asleep to. Mostly an older crowd(50+) that seems to be older men that wear suits all day and are desperately looking for something fancy in Endicott(hint — you won’t find it in Endicott). Probably gets a lot of their crowd leaving Lampy’s near by.

This place is a hidden treasure. No advertising, small sign and tucked away upstairs in a shopping area. If you want a loud bar with throngs of people – this is not the place for you. The place is filled with comfy couches, the lighting is low and the music(smooth jazz on this occasion) is not so loud that you can’t hold a conversation without yelling. It wasn’t crowded when I was there, but then again it was a Tuesday night. They offer a large variety of martinis but a limited food menu(I didn’t eat so I can’t comment on the quality of the food). Staff could not have been more welcoming.

Superb atmosphere. Great drinks. And wifi! Hours are very limited, and menu is even more limited. 50% of the food is pretty well done. The other half is way too mediocre to have only 1 entrée item per day… can’t go very often unless you’ve already eaten. They do have the potential to improve, though — both in terms of the«live entertainment», and especially in terms of the menu. I do appreciate that the food is more or less made to order and the ingredients are fresh. And the service is pretty impressive, especially considering what we’re working with in Broome County. Thankfully there’s no television and they do play good jazz music.

My boss is a big fan of this place so we had a business social here. I have never been but I keep hearing about their Mojitos made with fresh mint and lime. It was a little hard to find. There isn’t much in the way of signage or direction. There is just a corner door with a little sign on it. Very easy to miss(in fact, somebody did miss it. He parked right next to it but didn’t see it. Drove all over looking for it before he called.) You go up some stairs into a lounge area. Lots of subtle lighting, big cozy couches, and private nooks. Great place to go with some friends or a date because the music is not so loud that you have to yell at each other. Drinks seem a little expensive, but not terrible. They make a great Long Island Ice Tea… which is rare, but they seem to specialize in martinis. Huge list of *tinis(Think, martini, appletini, pumpkintini, chocolatini, etc). Oh, and the Mojito was fantastic. The food is amazing… at least what I tasted. We had full access to the menu but I am lactose intolerant and it all has milk in it. I cheated a little and wow. My wife liked it though and she doesn’t like anything… so its got to be good. I look forward to taking my friends here as they visit.

A very odd place. Located upstairs in a shopping center, odd tropical den(?) like décor. Seems to cater to people 40+. Definitely not a hip place. Went on Friday and Saturday night. Not many people there.

I really like this place. It’s got a nice, laid back lounge feel to it — a big space full of comfy, but classy furniture and a really nice bar. There’s a specialty cocktail menu with a whole buncha innovative martinis, as well as appetizers. Overall, it’s a pretty good place to get a drink, enjoy some conversation, and relax. When I’ve been there, it wasn’t especially busy(i.e. really late or on a Wednesday), but I hear it picks up on weekends. I really wish more people knew about this place. I bet they’d be all over it if it was easier to find(it’s behind HSBC and Lampy’s in Endicott). Also, the last time I was there, they only accept cash. But overall, a pretty cool place to get a drink.
