The play selections run from mediocre to wonderful. Some plays are hard to sit through, but most range from good to great.(«Into the Woods», awful. «Spam-a-Lot», wonderful) The acting is almost always superb, however. Sets are surprisingly well done for such a small theater. They recently made the seating more spacious and comfortable, and it’s nice to be able to get snacks, beer and wine from the snack bar. Everyone is always universally friendly and helpful.

Was in Binghamton returning my daughter her 2nd semester at bing univ. My husband and I Saw«lend me a tenor» while there and had the time of my life. It was hilarious. It was better than going to Broadway in NYC. Go, everyone go n see one of their plays. Money well spent! I plan on seeing on of their performances whenever I’m at Binghamton NY.

Wonderful 2-person play seen by me last night at this playhouse. The play was titled, «Trying». I used to see many plays here when I lived in the area, so I was surprised to see so many seats still available on a Saturday night. I know everyone comes here in the fall for cider and donuts… maybe I’ll be back to enjoy the cider and candied apples. In the meantime, check out their plays and opportunities for young people theater.
