Holy blueberry heaven! Everything about this place was outstanding! :) I’m no experienced picker by any means, but I went here with my family and enjoyed a day of handpicking berries, followed by some cold local soda in bottles which had been chilled to the perfect temperature in a cooler on site, and some farm grown plums which they also sell on site. Unlike the other places I have been to pick berries, the areas between the bushes were well maintained and the grass was cut short, so there wasn’t the added annoyance of being scratched by weeds or having your legs feasted upon by insects while getting yo’ pick on in the summer heat. A good time was had by all!

Some of the best blueberry picking in the state. Great property and neat tucked away location. They also have amazing sugar plums. I’m not sure if they are available to pick, but we always grab some from the table when available and they never make it home. Definitely check the map closely before heading out if you don’t have GPS as you could easily miss Bailey Road. Also make sure to bookmark their website to keep an eye on what is in season.

Farm-To-Table doesn’t get any better than this! Although they do have great apples(and it’s always fun to pick your apples off a tree rather than out of a bin at the grocery store), they also have tons of other produce that they grow in their gardens and that you can pick onsite. This is perfect for those who may want to make their own salsa, jam, or gazpacho, but don’t have the time or energy to grow their own produce. A short list of fresh fruits and vegetables available at Easy Pickins’: Apples, peaches, plums, tomatoes, blueberries, raspberries, squash, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, and pumpkins. A quick call to their daily recording will let you know if the produce you want to pick is in season and available. Tip: Bring cash for payment, as they don’t accept credit cards.

What a wonderful find! We were recommended this orchard for blueberry picking and were so pleased by the whole experience. The blueberries are in season all throughout the summer, many other places are all picked out by the end of July. The berries are sweet and just the tiniest bit floral– like all good, not picked too early then gassed, blueberries should be. The farm also apparently have around 20 total that come up from August to the end of October, so every few weeks it is all new, and most of the trees are cultivated out rather than up so are easy to pick. I grabbed a couple that I had never heard up and am so happy that apple season is off to a good start, they were crisp and tangy just like I like ‘em. They also have some wonderful PYO veggies, we snagged some amazingly flavorful tomatoes and perfect-for-parmasean eggplants! I highly recommend making this a weekly stop during the summer, even if it is just to grab a couple of already picked veggie options. Spending a few hours on a farm is certainly a nice way to get out of the house. I loved it so much I arranged a Mommy group outing just a week after we went the first time, we were also already out of blueberries so it all worked out. Go here, get some sun, pick some blueberries, and then come back for apples.

Just got back from our daughter’s first PYO apples and she had a great time. The trees had apples for her height and ours, she got tired out from the walking :) and there were hayrides, a gourd finding hunt, pumpkins, we even cut our own bouquet of flowers to take home for the kitchen table. We liked it and would go back again!

Wide mid-Summer selection, easy access from I-91, but don’t go if you really want to pick your own stone fruit as they do that for you. Likely to ensure they get the crop prior to the birds but if you want pick your own(PYO) blueberries or raspberries this is a great choice.
