U-Pack Moving

I’ve used U-​Pack Relocation cubes and ABF freight twice for cross country moves and I highly recommend them. They drop off the cubes in front of your place for you or local movers whom you hire to load them and they pick them up and bring them to your destination city. You can keep the Relocation Cubes in storage at the destination city and have them dropped off whenever you are ready.
They estimate how many cubes you need and drop off that number, but only charge you based on how many you use. Most one bedrooms would be one or two cubes if you have a lot of stuff. I like how they charge based on volume rather than weight (I had a bad experience with another mover overcharging based on weight) and I like how you put your own padlocks on the cubes and only you have the key (I had a bad experience with another mover happening to not deliver my only two expensive furniture items).
The ABF location in Enfield was particularly helpful and accommodating for my difficult location. Thanks to Tom in dispatch and Bob who dropped off and picked up the cubes. I really appreciate your help.

After refusing the services of 800PackRat (who was trying to rip me off) ABF was able to get a 18′ trailer to me on short notice. They picked it up the same day (Friday night of labor day weekend) got it to the destination early, and was able to haul away the empty trailer the same day as unloading.
ABF was respectful and helpful the entire way. They were very patient with me as I was very anxious and under a lot of pressure. Using their invoice, I was able to determine the actual weight of my cargo and that 800Packrat were trying to take advantage of me. 800Packrat knew it as I got most of my deposit back!
In hindsight, I should have gone with ABF in the first place. These guys really know what they are doing. They want to get your move done. They want to make money the honest way. They want to haul that trailer and offload it, not hold you hostage. They are used to doing military family moves and it shows.
Not only did ABF save my Los Angeles to Massachusetts move, they kept me on schedule and on budget. I can’t comment on their moving or container services, but if you ever need a trailer to load don’t hesitate to call ABF. They are my first choice for any future moves. It’s comforting knowing I can count on them but I hope I never have to move again because it is a total pain. ABF made the most of a bad situation.
