We’ve been there several times and always enjoy our dinner. We even took my Mother and she raved about her dinner. Service is excellent and attentive… plus when the weather is nice enough, we can bring our dog and sit outside with her and she gets great service as well.

Solid venue for company Happy Hours and gatherings since it is literally a 2 min drive from NBC and Unilever. The arborio rice balls are amazing and the spinach and artichoke dip is addictive. The nachos and pizza are also solid but not as great as the crispy stuffed rice balls. The HH $ 5 drink specials are also solid, and the venue itself is spacious with good service.

I have been here plenty of times for lunch but this is my first review. Nice atmosphere and friendly servers. But Today I left disappointed. I had the special which was a soft shell crab sandwich. It had absolutely no flavor. I couldn’t believe it. We also had the turkey burger which was good.

I have usually come to Central Kitchen for Happy Hour with my coworkers. And the drinks are always on point. Having not been a fan of the appetizers during those times, I was hesitant to try lunch when invited. But I did, and ordered a burger and fries. Which in my mind is always safe; how can you mess up a hamburger and french fries, right? Well no review here. I was happy with my burger, although the iced tea was shyt. Next time i’ll order water. Because thats what it essentially tasted like. The venue is open, clean and airy, with outdoor seating. Don’t suspect you will have trouble with seating, as it is a nice size(large) space.

The location and décor is great for folks coming from a handful of the neighboring towns. However, the food is inconsistent and the same goes for the service. There are times were I’m pleasantly surprised by my meal as well as the wait staff… yet other times, the food is meh and the service has been poor(empty drink? — they don’t care. massive delay with food arriving at your table? — get used to it. food quality? — depends on your luck) This place isn’t deplorable but I wouldn’t recommend it either…

Brunch was good. We had omelette and crab cake Benedict. The Benedict presentation was mediocre at best. WE Sat outside after a bike ride. Relaxing spot.

I love central kitchen the staff is always super friendly, the owner is always a pleasure to see always greets every guest with a warm smile and genuinely cares about what they want. The brick oven pizza I have to say is one of a kind not to many restaurants can actually make a decent pizza especially made from scratch, but at central kitchen they defiantly do. Dinner here is always quite great. Menu is eclectic and perfect for date night or just just grabbing a drink at the bar with some girlfriends. Defiantly recommend . ;)

I came here with a friend on a Wednesday night and the place was pretty quiet around 7pm but slowly started to fill up. The place has a nice, mature set up and the staff was great as well. Our waiter was very attentive; quick to take away our dishes, ask us for more bread and refill our waters. I ordered the CK Pasta Special which was a great tagliatelle pasta in a rich and creamy sauce. I’m a fan and would come back to check out other dishes.

The lamb shank was not good. I didn’t even finish it. Rather go to A Mediterranean restaurant for lamb shank. Service was perfectly fine, but the food is not«crave worthy.» Will never go back here. Shame because service and setting is great.

Celebrated my birthday here with a group of friends. Casual, yet cool vibe. Our waiter was super friendly, extremely accommodating of our large group and so professional. We started with a few appetizers to share– crab cakes, calamari and rice balls. Everything was awesome! So fresh and so delicious that we reordered the crab cakes bc they were THATGOOD!!! Mixed drinks were strong and well-made. I had the pan seared chicken as an entrée which was moist and savory and was served with the best tasting mashed potatoes I ever had. Bc it was my birthday the manager gave us a free dessert, which I thought was really nice. Will definitely return.

I give CK5 stars for their breakfast/eggs, coffee, potatoes, omelets, etc. it’s literally the best in the area. It’s high quality. Love their fries too! The only thing is … it’s priced like NYC. If they price it slightly above the local diners, I and I’m sure a lot more patrons would love to dine here more often for breakfast/brunch. It can be a go to spot. Great location. Great service. Great décor. Great place to have a drink. Great place to grab lunch during the weekdays during work compared to the competition. A lot of potential.

Lamb shank is good but good in a mcdonalds sort of way not a Latour kind of way. They make good, strong drinks. Pretty sexy ambiance.

I really like this diner!!! I’ve eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have been satisfied every time. The staff is extremely courteous and responsive. The menu choices are limited but diner appropriate. Burgers are delicious. I often get the eggs Benedict and switch out the Canadian bacon for traditional bacon. Delicious french fries served in cup… nice and salty. The house salad is GREAT… whatever the house dressing is, it is super yummy!!! The décor is trendy with dark wood tables, bright white lights and chrome. Tables are pre-set with bottled water or wine at night. Bathrooms are individual and very clean.

Was biking back from Alipine with friend, needed a respite from the midday sun. also, our stomachs needed a break from energy bars and gatorade. we needed real food /sandwiches. At 2:30pm on a Sunday, the 4 restaurants nearby were closed. No Bicycle Club. no Life Food Café. The block felt like a ghost town. We spied this restaurant from afar, and moseyed over. DOUBLEBIKERACKS. +2 Cyclist Points. Had burgers and fries. Totally saved us. Prompt attentive waiters, frequent refills on drinks. Normal NYC prices. Next time we’re riding through the area, we are likely to return. Well

You know how your friends say«you’ve never been to a place this bad» about a subpar restaurant they recently went to? Well if you go to this place, I think you might be able to argue that statement. I don’t know where to start… Perhaps it was the service, which was pretty much nonexistent. Maybe it was the steak frites that was delivered with the consistency of a Michellin tire. They even managed to mess up the tomato & mozzarella appetizer by drowning it in a flavorless pesto sauce. At a price point of $ 25+ per entrée, I expected this to be a good spot for a laid back dinner and a couple of drinks… Could not have been more wrong.

Terrible service. Need to wait a long time for the waiter. Didn’t clean up table until we asked three times. I don’t know why but from the looks of it, they don’t teach their staff anything! The portions are small and not good. The bagel and lox was not good at all. Still smell the fish. The crab cake was horrible and my wife didn’t finish it. The only good part is the décor, nice bathroom and clean bathroom, and cappuccino. That’s all. Sadly won’t be back even though it’s 5 minutes away from home.

My boyfriend and I wanted to break our normal Sunday afternoon diner routine and try something new for brunch. CK’s eclectic menu enticed us so we figured we’d try it out. From the outside you can tell it’s one of those modern New American places. The inside follows through with lots of clean lines, textured walls, wood & metal elements, and a fancy chandelier thrown in there for good measure. The menu is as multi-faceted as the décor. I was jealous I couldn’t try my boyfriend’s «Breakfast Pizza». Ham, sausage, eggs and home fries on a pizza? Sounds freakishly awesome. I went a more traditional route and got the primavera fritatta, basically a fancy omelet with spinach and asparagus. It was nice and fluffy on the inside, but a little hard and chewy on the outside. But overall, I liked it. The home fries that came on the side had petitely diced peppers and onions and were perfectly cooked. I also got the homemade orange juice. It was very good, but at $ 4 for a tiny glass, it wasn’t really worth it. Which brings me to the main reason why I’m not giving this place 5 stars: the prices. Both our meals were about $ 15. That along with coffee, orange juice, tax and 20% tip brought our total spent to $ 47. Considering the area, that might be nothing to the majority of the population. But for my cheap ass, it’s an astronomical amount to pay for brunch for 2 people. The food was good and I really enjoyed the décor. I would consider trying it again for dinner, but won’t be back unless I feel like spending some serious dough.
