Their Chicken Happiness panini is one of my favorite sandwiches in the world. I’m not even sure if I’ve ever had anything else on the menu aside from sushi once or twice which is also great. Love this place, and it’s relatively cheap

My go to sandwich is a panini with chicken cutlet, roasted peppers, pepper jack, bacon, and spicy mayo. Its one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Hands down.

Food For Life is a very good place to get a quick snack. They have a variety of foods ranging from sushi to sandwiches to wraps and to salads. They always have something for your craving. It also is very clean. On the downside, some days the staff is very disorganized. If you go or order on a good day it really is a very good place for breakfast and lunch.

Dependably good fresh sandwiches. I usually go with a veggie option, but there grilled chicken sandwiches are good too. The ordering, paying and getting the food process seems like a disorganized mess some days but it always works itself out. Overall a solid lunch spot.

A casual spot for breakfast or lunch. From the juice bar and great smoothies to sushi bar and amazing sandwiches at lunch this place never lets you down. Check out their bento box special or any of their chicken sandwiches.

This deli is clean and the staff is always friendly. Their chicken deluxe sandwich is amazing! It has bacon, grilled chicken, honey mustard, roasted red pepper, fresh mozzarella, and avocado. Its definitely worth the money. Their chicken noodle soup is also the best. Would definitely go back again.

My go-to place in northern Bergen County for fresh and delicious sandwiches and soups. Seriously top-notch food and pretty quick service.

Ordered a B/E on a Roll with a pack of Korean chewy candy, and it cost me over $ 5. It was ok, but definitely not going to be the place I pick up breakfast from. On top of that, they don’t really sell any candies(ex. chewing gum, mints, etc). One might call this place a Breakfast/Lunch Café.

I always head here for lunch when I’m at my internship down the street and it’s a good choice on my part! Food for Life is the ultimate deli/sandwich shop in my opinion. A lot of choices, quick service, AND all of the ingredients are fresh. I always get the Light Delight which comes with Turkey, Swiss Grilled Vegetables, and Honey Mustard. I always have mine on a 7 Grain sandwich because I like feeling good about myself but they offer other choices with white or whole grain bread. The sandwich itself is warmed and it tastes perfect. Sweet, savory, crunchy and healthy. I still need to try the sushi bar in the corner that the place because even that looks fresh(and fairly priced)! With a crew of about 10 people in the kitchen, the place gets its food out ASAP. Food for Life puts other places like Panera to shame.

This is what a deli should be. Quick, clean, and LOTS of variety. Personally I’m a big fan of their sushi salads, and spicy tuna rolls. It’s a bit on the pricey side as deli’s go, but worth it.

In all my years of ordering out and eating in their meticulously clean space, the food is always delicious, fresh, consistent and fast. Things to try: Any smoothie, the sushi, Paninis: chef’s special, sunrise & open field, chef’s salad

I want to like this place, but it’s such a disorganized mess. There’s no system for ordering, paying, etc, so it’s always chaos inside.

This place doesn’t even look like a deli from the outside, but it’s already one of my preferred places to eat between Fort Lee and Englewood Cliffs. Humble but with extremely fresh ingredients. Yesterday I had the ABLT, as per recommended in one of the reviews: delicious. The avocado makes the sandwich so juicy that you don’t even need the mayonnaise — although it’s also quite good. And the crispy bacon is amazing. Today I was going to order a paninni, by they don’t have it anymore — so they suggested a wrap of roasted turkey, mushrooms, grilled veggies, arugula and sun dried tomatoes. It was also delicious, well served and with a fair price. Next goal is to try the sushi! I work so close to the place that definitely I’ll drop by sometimes in order to have something really homemade. The cost benefit is excellent, but I would like to see a more cosy place to eat in.

The food here is really good(at both locations, one in Fort Lee the other in Englewood Cliffs). You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and of good quality. Their sandwiches, wraps, juices, and sushi are all really good and very well-made. The only thing is that the food is on the pricier side. OK, so overall the food isn’t expensive(I’m giving it a $ since pricing is relative, I guess), but it’s overpriced for deli food. And the sandwiches/wraps are pretty small so I’m always left still feeling a little hungry. For the sake of full disclosure, I will say that one time my dad got fruit here that was rotten and they were very hesitant to take it back, which is dumb. They did eventually, but weren’t too happy about it.

I’ve been to this place just under ten times now. The food is great everytime and the place is extremely clean. However, the staff isn’t the friendliest but at least the food makes up for that part. Great variety so you really can’t get bored of the menu

I work just up the street from this pace, so it is a great alternative for when my co-workers and I get sick of the cafeteria! Upon entering, I am always astounded by the number of employees working! Your are immediately greeted and asked if you are ready to order– there is an expansive menu so take your time deciding! If you want salad/sandwiches you order on the right and sushi on the left. There are lots of windows so it is bright and sunny. I am more of a sandwich girl myself and my go-to is the A.B.L.T. For those who don’t know, this is a delicious combo of avocado, bacon, lettuce and tomato! YUM! I get mine on whole wheat/grain bread with a little mayo and it is soooo good! It’s a fairly large sandwich and at $ 4.95 it is cheaper than the sandwiches at my work cafeteria! Some of my co-workers are into that whole juicing thing so they love going here and getting all sorts of combos of different fruits and veggies. The juices are quite expensive, but so are fruits and vegetables these days. A friend of mine always gets a «lunch box» of sushi and she loves it! I have never tried it myself, but from what I have seen the sushi looks pretty darn good! Overall, this is a great little lunch spot close to work with fresh ingredients. You can go all out with sushi and juices and break the bank or just get a sandwich for about $ 5!
