One of the previous reviewers said that your dentist experience can’t be a5. Though I agree completely, for someone who is deathly scared of dentists, Dr. Choi is more than 5 stars. Yes, I’m a mother. So, yes I’ve given birth. And yes that was hella painful. But dentist pain is sooo different, therefore, I was scared to death. However, he made me feel so much better about the whole visit. I don’t kniw anything about other dentists liking him or how amazing he is with his dentistry skills. All I know is that my routine check up that I’ve always dreaded was very pleasant with him. My last dentist told me that cleaning is supposed to hurt and that I needed to suck it up. Yeap. That was my last visit to that guy. Dr. Choi made my mind and soul ease up and made it truly and utterly painless. Of course there were uncomfortable moments-it is the dentist afterall-but when he said we were done, I said really? That’s it? I moved to va since my last check up. But since I’m back for the holidays, I’m getting my wisdoms pulled. Yeap, using my holiday time to go do that. Risking looking like a chipmunk bc it’s worth it. I think I would drive 4 hrs if I had major problems in the future. He’s that good in my books. It’s hard to find a good dentist. It’s so hard to find a caring one at that. I’ll post a follow up wisdom and the holidays.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Denver, CO
You don’t know me, but I have teeth. Teeth that I take great care to clean and keep in top working condition. I have had many dentists over the years looking over these teeth I have. You don’t know Jae Lim Choi, but he also has teeth. I have no idea whether idea whether he takes great care of his teeth, but I think he does because he takes such great care of my teeth. My parents have less great teeth and he has done excellent work with theirs as well. I recently moved to Denver and sadly, Dr. Choi did not move with me. Now my teeth and I must find a new dentist that is unlikely to be as great as Dr. Choi. *** original(supposedly unhelpful – thanks Unilocal, way to be judgmental) review *** I have seen many dentists and Dr. Choi is about as friendly, well-informed, helpful and capable as you can hope to find. His modern office is bright and clean, his equipment state-of-the-art, and the service is friendly. My dental history is far less colorful than the previous poster and as a very dedicated flosser, I cannot speak from direct experience for anything more complicated than a simple check-up and cleaning. However, both of my parents have had more extensive work done by him and both are very satisfied with the level of work and service. If you already in the area, give his practice a try – you will be pleasantly surprised. If you are not in the area but are looking for a top notch dentist, receiving quality dental work is certainly worth a longer trip. *** end of original review ***

Évaluation du lieu : 4 New York, NY
I’ve been going to Dr. Choi for several years when he was in NYC, but I wanted to write a review now because he found an infection in an old root canal that no other dentists/endodontist noticed and for that I had to give him a shout-out. Dr Choi’s office is now in NJ, but I take the bus there from Manhattan because I think he’s that worth it. And it’s not just my personal opinion/experience… The lab I went to for my crown and my endodontist said(unsolicited) that he’s one of the best out of all the dentists they know/work with because he is ethical and thorough. If I didn’t feel like something fit right(like a mouthguard) or something didn’t feel/look right(like a crown), he’d always address any issues, including re-doing anything that needed to be re-done and not cut corners. He answers all of my questions(and I always have tons). And he really loves being a dentist(I asked him that too!). I know, crazy right? I can’t imagine loving being a dentist… My experience with dentists and Dr. Choi haven’t been limited to just a cleaning once in a while. I admit — I’ve had a lot of issues. I don’t know if it’s me, bad luck, genetics, stressful job… but I’ve had cavities, root canals, broken crowns, broken teeth, teeth whitening, braces, gum issues, teeth sensitivities, grinding, clenching, etc. I’ve been to really bad dentists in the past. One of them messed up my root canals so I had to get them done again(I really hate that dentist now). Another said I needed thousands of dollars of work done on my gums when I didn’t need it(Dr. Choi said all I needed was proper flossing and brushing). I’m giving Dr. Choi’s office 4 out of 5 stars though because he’s in NJ; he doesn’t have those goggles I hear that some dentists have so you can watch movies while they work on your teeth; and getting your teeth cleaned and worked on is never a 5 star experience…
