Unbelievable. I have had Kevin out twice now and both times he was on time, professional and most importantly, effective. The price was more than fair too.
I have been having Internet problems for a year and since I now work out of my home the problems have become serious. My VOIP phones would break up; email access would drop, and my cloud based systems could not be accessed reliably. Hard to look like a professional under the circumstances. Comcast, my Internet provider was of Zero help, even though they came out 4 times.
I reached out to Akits with the goal of running a LAN from one end of my place to my home office at the far end of my home. Kevin came out, did what was asked but warned me that there were still problems with the system and took the time to explain them to me in English. Since it would take some additional equipment to clean it all up and I was getting a new computer I arranged for him to come back after I had everything in place.
Yesterday Kevin spent 4 hours totally re-​wiring my home Internet connections; installing a new wifi router and an independent switch and working with Comcast to get the existing modem integrated wifi router turned off and the settings fixed. For the first time in a year everything works well. My system now runs fast and has not crashed in 24 hours (vs. several times a day before). Even my Roku (IPTV) runs now without a delay.
Over the years I have used various consulting services working for my firm (some of them were pretty high end). Kevin’s skills rank with the best of them. Moreover, his willingness to listen, make sure he really understood the problems and then confirm everything was actually fixed sets him apart from most techies I have worked with.
I will definitely be using Atkis again.

My laptop was unresponsive after what seemed to be a virus attack. AlleyKat was at my home within a day of the first call – retrieved data off my hard drive and did a clean reinstall of my OS. Got my computer back up and working better than it had in two years. Professional, courteous service, and a great value as well.
