Aldi’s has exceptional quality food for the price. I shop here for my parish’s food bank almost exclusively. Snacks, dry goods, dairy, frozen food — all good. Their packageing is not wasteful — so you are not having to throw out items past their expire ration date because you are not feeding an army. Aldi’s has interesting items for the seasonal household that rotate weekly. If you have not shopped at Aldi’s, you will need to know some of the quirks. You need to rent the basketcart for 25 cent piece. Use boxes you collect as you fill your cart or bring your own bags. This is the German way of grocery shopping. I have never been disappointed at Aldi’s.
