This place is great! Always willing to help, knowledgeable, laid-back and always willing/wanting to help. Come here for your brewing needs! They have everything you need!

I am certainly a noob when it comes to homebrewing, which made me hesitant to walk into a specialty shop like this one. I was happy to learn that the staff here was very friendly and helpful nonetheless. They have a wide variety of ingredients, so whether you are mixing up your own fancy concoction and you’ve been homebrewing for years or you are just here to pick up a mix that will work in your«Mr Beer» kit, the staff is here for you. The prices seemed reasonable, and the place had a wide variety of homebrewing /distilling /wine making stuff. I would definitely recommend dropping by here if you are in need or any of these things. I was tempted just to get all of this stuff online, but you cant beat the face to face interaction, and being able to grill these guys with questions!

I love this place. Not only do they have a massive amount of supplies, but they are cool as hell. EVERY time I come in I learn something new. All the guys are always willing to share their love and knowledge of brewing. Not only that but twice I had to call them while I was brewing with an emergency question and they saved the day. I’m sure there are some other good homebrew stores in Denver, several probably nearer my house, but I have no reason to visit them. These guys have won my loyalty.

I came here to get a couple of items for my keg-orator, and it’s closer to home than my usual store. I actually first came to this place years ago when I first started brewing before I discovered the aforementioned competitor. Since my last visit they have expanded the store and it’s now much larger thus much more room. The supplies seem to be about the same amount, but everything is laid out much more efficiently. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and they have in the past been willing and able to order anything I needed that wasn’t in stock. It’s in a good spot on Broadway, the only real downside is the lack of parking. Having recently remembered this place I may throw it in to my rotation more often if only for the proximity factor.

Place is great! Local, friendly, and helpful! Staff is cool & they don’t treat you like a noob(although sometimes I am). I’ve started brewing about 8 years ago, but took a hiatus for 2 years — just came back. Anytime I have questions, they’re right there to answer; Will even kick you a card in case you have a question after you leave. Prices are competitive. If you’re thinking about getting into this hobby, start here. I started via some internet store… ended up going through about 1 ½ years of trial and error. Wish I started local — figured they’d all be beer snobs. I was wrong. They know tons about beer — but they’re not snobs at all. Just good peeps. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I are new to the whole home-brew world and it can be a little intimidating walking into one of these place without even knowing where to start. We left Beer & Wine At Home feeling completely confident and ready to make some beer! The guys there looked like they had the best job in the world. Drink beer all day and talk about beer all day. The guy we talked to was incredibly helpful without being too clingy(as some sales people can be). He knew his stuff and told us everything we needed to know. Prices all seemed reasonable and they had some cool prepackaged beer kits(we opted for the Belgium wit… mmmm…can’t wait for it to be ready).

I’ve been coming here for about a year now, and I have to say, I like these guys. It’s not the biggest brew shop in town. The shop itself is dark, not fancy, and not terribly well stocked. They’ve got the basics, but if you need anything really specific, you might have to look online. But enough of what they don’t have, here’s what they do have: A good selection of kits put together in-store that are all fantastic. Every beer I’ve made from their kits has been a solid, highly drinkable beer(I wish I could say the same for the recipes I’ve created on my own). Here’s what really counts though: the staff. These guys know beer, love beer, and love to share their knowledge with you. They’re all a little goofy, they’re all really friendly, and they’re all about having a great time. One added bonus is that as a smaller shop, with smaller staff, it’s easy to build a rapport with these guys. Personalized service is always a plus.
