Been meaning to try this place out for a while. Mildly disappointed. Don’t get me wrong the dumplings were not bad, I had the pork dumplings, but they definitely were not the best dumplings I’ve had. 9 $ for 12 dumplings is not worth it, especially when I can get comparable homemade dumplings at my local Chinese restaurant. They did give me and my wife 2 free banana slushies while we waited. And yes they are frozen, the dumplings I mean.

I love this place. I prefer the dumplings steamed, and the dipping sauce is phenomenal. Their other Korean dishes are good — in fact, it’s also my go-to place for bibimbap as well as ddukmandooguk(rice cake and dumpling soup).

Great dumplings! The leek is my favorite. They are open 8AM to 8PM. You can buy 2 pound bags of frozen dumplings to prepare at home

For dining in — best mandoo and dduk soup — which is dumpling and rice cake soup! So friendly and best meal we had lately! Hours after our meal which was so filling at a very reasonable price… my hubby and I are still dreaming of the beautiful dumplings and rice cakes! You can really tell that they are fresh. Thank you so much ladies! You are the best!

I love this place, definitely my go to spot for delicious dumplings! I’ve tried so many places, but this one beats all of them. Steamed or fried, it’s great either way. Their homemade ginger dipping sauce is no other. I find myself using the sauce for other dishes and its worth buying a jar. The service is excellent and the ladies are very friendly. I go there so many times and they usually know who their regulars are. The spot is not really a dine in place, so it’s better to takeout. Overall, I highly recommend this place! Best dumplings in the area, no doubt.

This review is for Vegans. The veggie dumplings and spinach/kale are the only 2 vegetarian options. They DO have egg in them. The fry on the fried dumplings was perfect. The texture of the steamed dumplings was also perfect. Other than that, the flavor of the filling was underwhelming on both varieties. Although they were the prettiest dumplings I’ve seen, the taste was not worth the 20 min drive.

Pretty cool spot. Had the Fried beef dumps and I have to say, I’m a fan. Tasted really good, not greasy and packed with flavor.

Tried the bulgogi and the veggie dumplings. Though it was good, I felt the dumplings were lacking a bit in flavor. The bulgogi was tasty and the portion was filling! Will try the other flavors next! The ginger sauce is amazing. I went around noon and it was crazy in there! The ladies were running around filling many orders! What a bonus to be able to buy some for take home too.

I’m giving this place a 5 for the overall experience. These are definitely the best dumplings I’ve ever had, so they live up to the name. I actually didn’t even realize bad dumplings existed until I had dumplings from surrounding restaurants, and decided that Best Dumplings was the way to go! My only complaint is that the veggie dumplings could stand to have a little more flavorful, but everything is pardoned once you have them with the delicious homemade ginger soy sauce. Ordering at Best Dumpling was my first hearing of «dumpling sauce». I usually have my dumplings with plain soy sauce everywhere else. Service is very quick here. If you order from GrubHub, it will estimate a wait time of 30 – 40 minutes, but in actuality, my dumplings are usually ready in 10 minutes or under, so I’ve learned to head to the restaurant right after I order so I can get them nice and hot. The ladies here are extremely friendly. They always greet me when I walk in. One of the ladies handed me a free slushie while I waited to pay for my order today. I felt pretty special until I read on here that it is fairly common. I can’t complain, however, it’s 90+ degrees out today, and that slushie helped me bear the walk back to my office. The restaurant itself is not fit for dining in; you’re better off doing take-out. They do have frozen dumplings in packs and bottles of their homemade ginger sauce if you’d like to recreate the experience at home.

Great dumplings, fast, hot and inexpensive. Had the steamed shrimp, fried leek and fried beef. All were very good, but the beef was the table favorite. Only two small tables, more of a take out joint.

I was looking for a quick bite to eat yesterday and stumbled upon Best Dumplings on Unilocal!Thank goodness I did; this restaurant is one of a kind! I absolutely loved it! They have the best dumplings I’ve ever tried in NJ. And the garlic sauce is delicious. They get pretty busy sometimes, and I can understand why(bc they’re so good)! Even so, they got our order out in 5 minutes. They’re super efficient. I had them yesterday and I’m going to purchase some today because I want all my friends and family to try. I might be addicted until I head back to school. Also, the customer service is impeccable. While we were waiting for our dumplings, one of the women gave my sister and I two steamed shrimp dumplings for us to try and they were incredible. They had the garlic sauce on them and were simply delicious. They are also some of the nicest people I’ve ever interacted with at a restaurant. Consider me a customer for life. I would highly suggest trying this place to anyone!

These dumplings did not disappoint! I work in Englewood so I was quick to check it out on Unilocal as an option for lunch take-out. A bunch of my coworkers got together and had quite the spread once everyone ordered. Not one person was dissatisfied. They differ from your standard Chinese and Japanese take-out locations’ overly-doughy, minimally filled dumplings. They are light, whether steamed or fried, and have a generous amount of the chosen protein. The ginger chili cause is also a really good combination of sweetness and spice. We didn’t try anything of the sushi or other items on the menu, but based on the dumplings, I would venture to say they are equally delicious.

I work at a restaurant nearby and wanted something simple and cheap for lunch. After reading the reviews I decided to try Best Dumplings out and ordered their fried veggie dumplings for pickup. I was not disappointed. The dough was delicate, not overly greasy and came with a nice hearty filling. Not only that, the ginger sauce was excellent. Tangy, slightly spicy with a hint of sweetness. My pet peeve is running out of sauce halfway through a meal, but thankfully they were generous and provided 2 large packets. I enjoyed the sauce so much that I would consider buying a bottle of it. For only $ 8 including tax I got about a dozen yummy dumplings with bangin sauce and I was full til dinnertime. This is definitely more of a pickup/delivery place. The inside isn’t much to look at and there’s only two small tables available. But don’t let that stop you! They offer free delivery with a $ 15 minimum. Or you could stop in for a pickup like I did, but be aware there’s only like 1 spot available that isn’t handicapped so you may have to park on the street. Dumplings! Gyozas! Potstickers! Whatever you wanna call em, this place is worth trying out.

I have experiences both with ordering from delivery and picking up. Ordering from delivery is kind-of a hit or miss BUT the food quality is way better than the standard quality of delivery. Just don’t expect to figure out their exact delivery days/schedules anytime soon unless you’re ordering exactly at noon. Picking up from the location directly is probably a wiser choice. If you eat in the store,(not meant for ambience) they might give you a side of kimchi, daikon or whatever side they choose for free. Plus, the sauce that they give when you eat in the restaurant is way better than the one you get from delivery! The prices are really reasonable, ranging around $ 5 – 6, depending on the flavor. My favorite dumplings are actually the veggie dumplings! I wasn’t as impressed by the beef or kimchi ones, even though I usually dig both those things. Maybe that’s because I get my dumplings steamed though. I did notice that the beef dumplings were slightly tastier fried, but I still prefer the steamed veggie dumplings. So yeah, if I didn’t make it clear enough… 1) Phone in and then pick-up your orders. 2) Get the sauce from in-store rather than the delivery sauce. 3) Make sure to try the veggie dumplings *optional* buy a big frozen bag of dumplings for home: I forget the exact price but they’re around $ 15 a bag. 3 ½ round up*

«Best»… not exactly. The dumplings are okay. I was not impressed that they didn’t have pork, but we decided to try three kinds: beef, chicken and leek. The dumplings are closer to gyoza than Chinese dumplings — I’m not sure what’s typical in Korean cuisine. That said, they were all bland. I’ve had better dumplings in many different places. The free slushi was a nice touch — killer if you love intense sugar — but I doubt I’ll be back.

I wouldn’t call them«Best Dumplings» but I guess«Pretty Good Dumplings» as a store name wouldn’t be as impressive. We didn’t encounter any problems with service. The women who served us were very polite. Since we ate there, they even stopped by to ask how the food was. We had beef and leek dumplings(fried) and the seafood soondubu. The dumplings were good, but not the best I’ve ever had. The soondubu was on the bland side in terms of flavor. There were other Korean items on the menu that we didn’t try. If I ever crave dumplings in Englewood I would come back to try some of their other flavors. Place is really best for takeout. Don’t forget to pick up your free slushie — a mix of mango, pineapple, honey, and banana! Yum!

Very small dumpling place in neighborhood. I saw one table in the corner to seat and eat, but it’s more like pick up and delivery place. They also have Korean menus as well other than dumplings. Fried beef dumplings, steamed shrimp dumplings are my favorite among their dumpling menu. I pick up few bags of frozen dumplings for home at times, they are $ 14 – 16 per bag(2.5lbs). And also they have their own dipping sauce($ 2.50 per bottle). Even though I like dumplings but doesn’t make me to come here often because service isn’t consistent, it doesn’t matter you speak same language or not. Please don’t expect warm welcome or nice service when you go there. Just look at the menu, order and go. Doesn’t have flexibility or trying to accommodate customers for their orders. Just whatever written on the menu, no change or add on. Honestly many times I felt local supermarket cashers are friendly then them. Their dumplings are good, maybe above the average. But not the best I’ve ever had. It’s 3.5 stars for me.

Just get the fried dumplings with their special sauce. We accidentally ordered over 100 of these before because they didn’t have something else we wanted on the menu. Office orders from them quite a bit and we’re usually not disappointed. I’ve never been inside the place.

This is a nice little hidden gem! altho they are called best dumplings and have mostly dumplings they do have california rolls and i believe a veggie roll. They also have other types of soups, noodle dishes and other basic korean dishes. The shrimp dumplings i got were pretty frickin good. for $ 8 i got 12, steamed lil nuggets of delish-ish-ness. However, they were small. I was hoping they would be a bit bigger, and have more filling but the flavour was good. as i opened the lid to them i got SMACKED in the face with a shrimp smell. I was not impressed with the ginger sauce, I’ve had better from my local chinese place. It was a nice switch up from some lame soy sauce tho. I wish it were a little thicker also… hmm story of my life. Overall, id deff come back here. I wanna try the veggie dumplings and the california combo. $ 75 cent cans of soda, god damn i feel like I’m in the 90s. PS theres only two tables, one right by the door with like 3 seats and another by the register. The asian ladies were sitting at that one so i had to sit by the door and be cold a little. Also, the plus is… if you’re a big fan. you can take home these little nuggets, $ 14 to $ 18 big bag of them to take home…
