This place recently reopened, under new ownership, and it’s a good place waiting for a crowd. Drink prices are incredibly reasonable, bordering on cheap. It’s 12:45am and they’re frying up an appetizer for me, well after the kitchen is closed. There’s a DJ mixing hip-hop and a dance floor deserving more patrons. Apparently, they’ll be changing the name to reflect the new ownership soon and speak to the younger crowd they’re looking(and deserve) to attract.

Went here after the(painful experience of the) Broncos-Patriots playoff game on 1÷14÷12. There was supposed to be karaōke. There wasn’t — the place had about 10 people around the bar, and maybe 2 couples in the big TV room/karaōke area. Didn’t earn any smiles from me at charging $ 5 shots of Jäger; but hey, they’re in the middle of New Mexico practically, I guess they have to charge more than bars that offer specials downtown. Not *quite* a dive bar… but they’re trying. Bartender was semi-cool, other patrons were mixed, and saw 2 people walking away, or *getting* walked away, with/by 2 Englewood police officers in the parking lot. I think they missed the super drunk guy that was out in the parking lot 30 mins before. Scaryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy… Watch out.
