Location is great for watching games. It has the biggest tv I have even seen. With 50″ around it. Food was varied and good, price was reasonable

The new nachos recipe is awesome! The chicken is almost sheedded, the roasted veggies are small and tasty. The spice was just right and their salsa is really tasty too.

My wife and i went there last evening. We had fish and chips what a letdown the meal was mediocre at best. Stale fries. We used to like the fish and chips there but will not go back again.

The place is huge and likely a great stop to watch the game. The restaurant dinning area feels a bit like afterthought to the bar. The food was bar food with a mountain twist. Bison is on the menu if that helps. Not a lot of healthy options, but that is the norm. There were a few things I would like to try on the menu but overall I am not in a rush to come back. This is an average bar and restaurant. You won’t be disappointed but also likely won’t rate it the best you’ve ever had. Great beer choices for the beer fans. Full disclosure I would give this place a 3.5 if possible.

Typical RAM. I thought maybe a different name would change the style or type of food. No chance. High Fat and Greasy foods. Perfect for a hang over. Handcraft beers are good. Friendly service. At least the TV in the bar was huge !!!

I was on a business trip and wanted to try something I don’t have at home(LA) so the Über driver recommended CB Potts restaurant and I had the Big porter blue burger. It was delicious. The service was great The host opened the door for me as I entered the restaurant and as I exited the restaurant. The waitresses were very attentive. If you’re looking for a great burger awesome customer, service moderately priced and you will be happy with CB Potts.

I have come here a few times — once with friends for happy hour/dinner and most recently to witness the Broncos kill the Patriots. Both times I had a great experience! here are the takeaways: FOOD: Pretty dang good! They offer a GF menu full of options, which is super nice. I don’t always order from there, but it’s nice to have the option. I’ve sampled a variety of different appetizers and burgers, but the beer cheese and pretzels are by far a fan favorite! BEER: They brew their own beer, which is nice! They offer a wide variety of styles and flavors, but I tend to stick with the blonde. Light, crisp, easy to drink and not too heavy. I’ve learned that my body doesn’t do well with too much gluten, so I either drink light, or go GF. The Amber and Porter were also fan favorites. ATMOSPHERE: family friendly, large dining area, lots of room with both private tables and bar top tables — with a laid back feel. Each time I’ve come here, it’s a friendly, fun and inviting space that makes me want to return. SERVICE: Both time I’ve been here have been great. Servers were attentive, but not annoyingly so, smiley and recommended dishes that were super tasty! Although it’s a chain, it’s not your average one and allows for a unique experience whilst eating delicious food!

Awesome place to catch the game. Large TV’s. Beer they brew is delicious. They also have a full bar. Their menu has a good variety of goodies. Blackened mahi mahi fish tacos were delicious. We’ve come here several times. Nothing on the menu really stands out but there’s nothing we’ve disliked. I would come back here more for the«big game» atmosphere, and perhaps happy hour, but not so much for a special dinner out. They are a little pricier than regular bar food as well.

CB& Potts is interesting because it seems like they either change their menu a lot or different locations have different menu items. For example the calzone at the Foco location is good, the turkey sandwich at the Westminster location is good and this location didn’t have either of those. We came to eat during a Broncos game which was great because they seriously have TVs everywhere. I didn’t see any game day specials on apps or drinks though. Basically this place is just a resturant with lots of tvs, not too much to report.

The last time we went here it was an odd vibe. We came in for late night Sunday dinner and there were about 3 other pairs sitting at tables in the bar area. The weirdest part was they were playing loud hip hop/rock music in the bar like they were trying to pump us up for a football game or a Friday night. but it was Sunday night late dinner??? Anywho the food was basic, my fish tacos were fine and my boyfriend enjoyed his burger. Our server was nice. Just nothing to be impressed by(even with the largest bar…)

My family and I went to the Ram in Schaumburg last night for dinner. I couldn’t believe how good my steak was and the cheddar mashed potatoes were superb. My boyfriend had a Ruben sandwich which was fully loaded with corned beef and tasted absolutely amazing. My daughter had their mac and cheese which I had to try and it was suprisingly better than I expected. My son had their hillbilly burger which was too much for him to finish, but he said it was excellent. Our waitress Kelly was very nice. The only drawback was it took a very long time for our food to arrive. Other than the wait, we were very pleased. I’m certain we will go there again!

I went to the Ram in Schaumburg ordered a french dip, the beef was not good at all and when I see a rainbow in the meat it means poor quality to me. The staff was great it smelled good in there I would go back to try something else just sayin I wouldn’t suggest the beef…

FORSOMEWEIRDREASON, I HAVETRIEDTOPOSTTHISSEVERALTIMESFORTHERAMRESTAURANTINWHEELING, ILLINOIS. SOMEHOW, THISREVIEWMIGRATESTO «CBANDPOTTS» INCOLORADO. THEREISPROBABLYSOMETHINGCORRUPTEDINTHERAMRESTAURANTDATABASE. A few weeks ago, Mrs. B came in beaming, with a broad smile from ear to ear. She looked as radiant as a woman who had just learned that a blessed event was going to happen. In her case, she had received an email coupon for a two-fer at the Ram. Oh joy, oh rapture unforeseen! [And if you know what I am referring to, you are a musical maven.] We have visited the Ram on several prior occasions, and I found it to be a fun micro-brewery and pub patronized by people of all ages — often as a happy hour destination. They offer a lot of different craft beers, and make their own on the premises. Over the years, I have enjoyed our dinners and drinks there. We arrived and were promptly seated. The hostess asked me if I preferred a booth or a table, and I responded with an eager«Yes!» and my wife had to advise her that I am a wise a$$. We were shunted off to a booth, far away from the sane people. I usually don’t order beef, but I wanted to try their«Hillbilly Burger» this time, and my wife ordered the«Amber Ale» chicken sandwich. She really liked her sandwich and said it was most excellent. Unfortunately, I did not care for the Hillbilly Burger: it was very fatty and greasy — and I am supposed to avoid such foods. It was so greasy, that my hands were literally soaked. Things were a little quiet when we arrived, so Kevin, our waiter, spent some time chatting with us. He is a student at Harper College and is planning to transfer into a four year engineering program in the next year. We talked for about 15 minutes about education, politics, Harper College, and a lot of interesting things. Business started picking up as diners and drinkers entered the Ram to watch the football games that were being shown on their display screens, so we cut short our discussion so he could attend to his appointed rounds. Mrs. B graciously volunteered to pay for BOTH of us(after the two-fer discount) and left him a cash tip. She used her credit card, which just happened to have the same account number as mine — so I will still pay for the meal. I have always liked the Ram, but I had to knock my evaluation down to three stars because I was a bit dissatisfied with my meal. But I think that most diners would give them a slightly higher evaluation. Remember that I never pay the full price of a meal. Well, hardly ever! [Reprise for musical mavens.]

I loved the burger I just ate. It was recommended by our waitress Maddie– the TumbleWeed was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Maddie recommended to add avocado to the TumbleWeed and it was just yummy!!! It was is «off the hook». Real good food and great service by Maddie!!! I guess we need to be back to Chicago!

Eek methinks not is right. Yikes. We came here for a group work lunch, and the place was deserted which should have been our first clue. I mean this place is huge and I’d say was maybe just 10% seated at 12:00 pm? Ruh roh. Anyway, our waitress was really polite, but the service was super slow. She seemed attentive so it could have just been a kitchen deal. But it’s certainly not like they were overwhelmed with orders. As for the food — it’s just blah. I could see this being an okay place(I cringe as I say«okay») if you wanted to watch a game as they have a bunch of TVs all over the place and a large bar area, but I would probably opt to order liquid items only. I had the turkey havarti melt which the waitress said was one of their most popular dishes, but it really wasn’t anything special. I’ve made better sandwiches(and fries) at home. Le sigh.

After visiting several C B & Potts, this location is probably my least favorite. The food and beer is good — plus the location can’t be beat if you are in the DTC. But if you are in a hurry to catch a movie, I suggest visiting after the flick. Service has been OK, but the servers are a bit stretched at times. TIP: Lunch time seems to be a bit faster than happy hour.

YUCK! The food here is the worst I’ve ever had! I skipped the hotel bar to eat at a local joint. The inside looks pretty cool, but that is where the positives end. I order a beer and the waitress spills it in the table and isn’t the least bothered to wipe it down or apologize. She proceeds to take an order from the next table, and I am left wiping the spilt beer from the table, and I had to ask another hostess to get me some more napkins to wipe the spilt beer. I figured this is Colorado and the steaks will be good. Boy was I in for a surprise. The NY strip came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The steak was insipid, and never have I had a steak not taste acceptable for consumption. I force myself to eat a third of it as I was starving, but the bad steak made me lose my appetite. I guess I’ll fill myself on the mashed potatoes and vegetables — if you can call them that. The mashed potatoes seem to be made from powdered stuff and taste horrible, really horrible like from a instant cardboard box type! The vegetables were bland, and not worth it. This place is better off being shut down, as it cannot seem to serve edible food. Next time I’d rather head to a Chilis or heck even a Cheesecake Factory than make the big mistake of CB& Potts and it’s rude waitstaff!

The service here is fast and efficient even when busy. That’s always nice. The food is kind of hit or miss though. Avoid the calamari, it had a weird taste to it and was over salted. The strange chili sauce that comes with it made it even worse. The winning dish is the parm crusted cod. It’s a huge cod filet swimming in a delicious cream sauce. It’s served alongside some wilted spinach and a quinoa pilaf. Yummy! For dessert, I tried the cheesecake. It came with a strawberry topping. It was good, but tasted store bought. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but it’s a great place to hangout if you’re attending a concert at Fiddler’s Green.

My family has been going to CB& Potts since I was a young kid. We always have great service and rarely have to wait, and I mean rarely. Their menu selection is large — ranging from salads and soups to burgers and steaks. My dad loves the Potts chips, an alternative to fries! If they take something off the menu, they most likely still have it so ask! Wait staff always recognizes us! They also have tons of room for large parties. They have different events different nights, I know trivia happens weekly. Also a super close walk to Fiddlers Green Ampitheater if you wanted to catch a pre-show bite and brew. Full bar, we always sit in there! Mug club for regulars and comes with a yearly mug! They also send out bogo entrees and deals in their emails, who can complain! Great neighborhood sports bar, they never let us down:) They also just re-did their menu to include a gluten free section. Accommodating to a family with food allergies. If you’re not gluten free, try the pretzel bun! It’s delicious
