After writing my review Sabrina reached out to me to see if she could take a look at my hair. I made the appointment a week later. I told her my concerns and she agreed to fix it. She carefully went through all the missed areas and angled it a different way ensuring she completed the job and that I was happy. She was very professional about the situation, and genuinely nice! In an un perfect world sometimes its all about the recovery, and how a problem is handled. Sabrina demonstrated sincerity, professionalism and integrity. I learned the recovery is what really demonstrates quality of services.

I love this salon! Sabrina and her staff are warm and welcoming! I’m complemented on my hair so often since I started going to them. In addition to the great coloring and awesome styling, I have been getting my nails done. It’s so wonderful to have pretty nails for the first time in my life.

Love my hair salon and all the girls. Been a client for ten plus years. And every time my stylists Sabrina goes to work on my hair she works her magic and I’m always amazed! She really has her hands full with me. I have really thick course black hair. And she transforms my hair in to beautiful blonde color. I have full trust in her. She is the real deal. Even as I lived in WA I flew home just to see my stylists. Every 6 weeks for 2 years.

I have visited this salon several times in the last 11 months. I typically get a partial foil, cut, and style. First, this place is really, really expensive. All I ask for is a partial foil, cut and style. They charged me $ 195. This last time, all I asked for was a touch up. They charged me only $ 26 less. It’s ridiculous. I lived in CA for several years, and I never paid more than $ 160 for a full foil, cut and style. To top it off, they don’t post their prices anywhere. You only find out what the charges are AFTER you receive service. They also force you to provide a minimum 15% tip, even if the hair dresser screwed up your hair and she didn’t deserve that much. And, then, to top it off, you have to specifically ask for an itemized list of the services and charges, as well as specifically request a receipt. Second, the hair dressers(the two that I’ve seen) are extremely inexperienced. The first hair dresser I saw there had less than 1 year of experience since obtaining her license. The second, had 2 – 4 years of experience. These hair dressers don’t have enough experience to charge these fees.(My hair dresser in CA had over 15 years of experience, owned the salon, and always gave me a perfect cut and color.) The first hair dresser actually screwed up my cut, and the owner(I believe), sitting behind the front desk, didn’t even bother apologizing or trying to appease me in any way. The second hair dresser kept getting color on my face. Again, the owner didn’t even bother to do anything about it or even apologize. Overall: Avoid this place unless you specifically know one of the hair dressers and have gotten services from him/her before. Otherwise, it’s a toss up whether or not you’ll get the services you asked for – done correctly, the way you want it – and end up paying an exorbitant price for it.

I first found this salon at a bridal show. They actually«sew» your hair rather then using bobbie pins! I got to get mine done for free and try it out. It stayed up for a day and a half!(I was testing it) It was super painless and I didn’t keep jabbing my head with bobbie pins and when I did take it out I only had to cut one little string and pull and out my hair came. I was in love. I thought this is how I want my hair for my wedding. I booked and appointment and got my hair cut and colored. The girl who did my service the first time is no longer there but the girl I go to now is fantastic. She is kind and takes the time to talk over with me what I want done before she does anything. The salon is nice and is clean and open. You can get nails, hair and makup done in one place which I think is really great. For the wedding we get to come to the shop and have it reserved just for my party and they will do all our hair and makup! We can bring in food/champagne and everything. As for the woman at the front desk mentioned in the other reviews, I found her to be short but not rude. I believe she’s the owner but she does call and remind me of appointments and always leaves me kind messages as she knows I’m working. I like this place a lot — give it a try

I booked an appointment here before I had read the review on here, which is really old. But, based on that review I was a little nervous about changing salons, but I couldn’t beat the price($ 38). I was also a little worried because the lady who I booked with was quite unfriendly, but I gave it a chance anyways. I really give Crystal 5 stars. She has only been there two weeks, but doing hair for four years, and she did a GREAT job. She cut roughly 6 inches off of my hair and really went over what I wanted with me. I showed her pics and told her I wanted a slight A-line, but nothing major. First she did the basic cut, then stopped to ask how I wanted my layers, parallel to the A-line cut, or completely horizontal. I had no idea so she suggested following the layers with the shape of the cut. Then she stopped to ask how I do my bangs, long/short, thick/thin, etc. I wanted to try something new so I asked for real, strait bangs, but if there was any way they could be sideswept if I felt like doing it that way sometimes. She said that was no problem. The end result is amazing. I really really love what she did with my hair. I will certainly be going back to her. She listened to what I wanted and always stopped to clarify and ask questions. I was going to Bang on Alameda, but I wanted to change because every time I went in I would leave with nothing more than a trim, which is never what I asked for. And on top of that, it was 80 bucks. Don’t get me wrong, Stacey is good, I think she just got a little lax after I saw her so many times. Now, the cons of this place — the lady at the front desk. HOLYCOW. A simple greeting would be nice! I walked in and she was chatting away with some lady that worked there about nails, and shopping, and shoes. I actually had to go find Crystal because I was absolutely not being acknowledged at the front desk. I didn’t shy away because of the lady at the desk, it’s the hair cut I’m after. All in all, I’m really glad I stuck with it. Crystal was amazing and I would recommend her to any of my friends. In fact, I’m going to. If they got someone new at the front desk this place would have received 5 stars.
