This Denny’s gets a downgrade after our most recent visit. While the food is still better than your average Denny’s, we had absolutely horrible service this go around. Our waitress just neglected us(and everyone in her section) over and over again. We didn’t get our drinks until we after we got our food, and had to flag down another waitress to bring them. I asked for a condiment for my food, and it took a full 10 minutes until the waitress came back that I had to remind her again. In the end, she ended up disappearing, and we had to ask another waitress to bring us the check. No one knew where she went. Still. This is our go-to Denny’s location. It is better than other ones we have been to.

Harvest skillet a 3.5 and thats being generous. Double cheeseburger, standard although with such a generous portion I could not help but get condiments all over. The best part of the evening was by far Susan, so enthusiastic, very interesting lady serving us… Not jk she was great and enthusiastic All in all a very okay experience. Ps. The pumpkin pie sucked, although my date said it was okay I disagreed but pretended to agree. I award Denny’s off of hampden 3 out of 5 stars.

I definitely like this location better than the one on Wadsworth and Hampden. was cleaner and bigger. we were seated right away but our waitress never came to take our drink order. Chris took our table for us. He was great, love his personality and got everything right. Unlike the other location. was a bit slow getting the food out, but overall good. we will be going to this location from now on

The food is good, but the service is terrible, the manager is no help to the new waitress Tammy, and Tammy brings us our food one strip of bacon at a time. And the side orders of bacon are way too small. And they shouldn’t leave so quick.

I feel like a cow in a cattle drive when I go in here. Therefore, I avoid it.

Denny’s was remodeled recently and it looks okay. Used the men’s restroom… it is the most disturbing and disgusting and nasty and filthy restroom I have ever seen in a restaurant. Makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like.

This place is awesome — for a Denny’s. I had never been to this Denny’s before; however upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised by the modern and well kept décor. The ambiance was one of quiet gentility. The waiters and waitresses were wearing well fitting uniforms, were clean, presentable, and smiled a lot. It was just past 1pm when I arrived. About a third of the tables were in use; however since all of the floor space was open, everyone was nicely spread out. There was no feeling of being crowded. I’ve been to other Denny’s where they close out a section and stuff everyone into the remaining areas, then turn the lights off which makes a bit of a black hole — not a good idea. Here I felt like I had room to breath and not have to worry about the folks in the next booth. I ordered my standard Moons Over My Hammy. I always order the same thing on my first visit to any given Denny’s as it makes it very easy to compare them. About 9 minutes later the dish was presented to me. The hash browns were just right! They were golden brown, hot, moist, and very tasty. The Moons were laid out on the plate in a purposeful way, not just thrown on as I’ve seen others do. Again, they were fried to just the right level of golden deliciousness, hot, and flavorful. If you’re in the mood for a nice diner style experience, and a bit of a better experience than you’ll get from most Denny’s, then I recommend trying this one for yourself.

Now, nobody goes here for the food or atmosphere. I go here because it’s close to my house, it’s the only thing around open late, and sometimes I need to work on my computer without my kids distracting me. I get there and order only to find out there is not internet, which they used to have. So I get up to go somewhere else and the waitress has the gall to bill me for the coffee I didn’t even touch! I guess I’m going to have to find somewhere else to go, even if they do get their wifi back.

Yeah, I know, it’s a Denny’s. But it’s open past 10 on weeknights, and I was craving simple eggs and toast, so I ventured in. My first impression, at the front door? Dirty. Smelly. But… again, it’s past 10, so my choices are limited. The girls that greet me are friendly, so I stick it out. She even asks if I prefer a booth or table. So I opt for the booth, and look! The table has schmoo on it and there’s a spill on the bench of the booth. I point it out and move to the other side of the table. It never does get cleaned up. I order their French Vanilla Coffee(You know, from that instant-coffee-mix-machine you’ll be familiar with from 7 – 11?) and that comes out cold. Not lukewarm. Cold. As in: the coffee powder is separating from the water because it wasn’t warm enough to dissolve it. Their menu has changed since the last time I was in a Denny’s. Seems like there’s a lot less selection on the Breakfast side of things. There was literally only one option for a «Two Egg Breakfast»… and it was SIXBUCKS! More than the grand slams, Moons Over My Hammy and a slew of other things. So I go with the Make Your Own Slam, for $ 5.49 2 strips of bacon 2 eggs(Over Medium) Hash Browns(Well Done) SourDough Toast So: The bacon was about the thickness of your average Burger King breakfast. The«Over Medium» eggs were barely set and overly greasy. The«Well Done» hash browns were hardly browned and cold and soggy. The Sourdough Toast was hard, over toasted, and under buttered.(Not even enough to taste.) And they charged me for the cold coffee. More than $ 2. I should have gone to a 24 hour fast food chain, and gotten a Dollar Menu snack. That would have been better and one-tenth the price. I won’t be back.

it’s pretty average for a denny’s i would have to say. i go here often because i’m up all night and it’s down the street from my house. it’s clean the staff is pretty nice and the food is the same as anywhere else. only thing bad with this location and that some [not all] of the night staff is fast and sometimes they take too long getting your food to you while its still hot. easy fix… just go there during the day.
