I use to love this place, but recently the quality has gone down. I ordered a beef and bean with cicerones and the cicerones were stale. They tasted rancid. I also ordered a breakfast burrito recently and they only had today’s meat. So I went with it. I saw them pull it out of a warming oven, pre-made. The tortilla was mushy and it was half the size it use to be. They are selling these burritos all over town now. I thought I would try one from a gas station, and yuck, the tortilla was REALLY mushy. Not Good at all. The quality and size has been diminished. I guess when you have great food and grow fast, you have to cut corners. I won’t be going back, Thanks, but NO Thanks!

Fast home cooked style food… In-and-out, no seating or drive tru… friendly, quick, personable staff. Best on-the-run breakfast I’ve had in Denver. If you don’t mind spending 5 minutes of your morning on quality food and service. go here!

Excellent breakfast burritos and the price is very inexpensive. I took a platter of tacos, tostadas, tamales to work with me and it only cost 9 dollars. Shared it with my coworkers. We were all covered in cheese and salsa but it was worth it.

They are only good for their $ 2 burritos!!! I ordered a carne burrito it was $ 7 and the same size. Extremely disappointed. I am looking for another burrito place. I am also not picking up 10+ a week for sales team for a while.

Oh Santiago’s, I can’t do Saturday mornings without you. I have tried most things on the menu, but what really keeps me coming back is the breakfast burritos. Filled with eggs, potatoes, ham, cheese and spicy chili these burritos are rolled up in foil and served hot. This heavenly creation can be ordered in mild, medium or hot AND costs about $ 2 and some change. Sold yet? This tiny little Mexican food restaurant is always hoppin’, so you know its got to be good. If you want to save time, call in your order ahead. You will be in an out in no time! Santiago’s is solely to-go orders and is amazing for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is delicious, the price is right and the service is fabulous! What’s not to love? Treat yourself to a delicious breakfast burrito one of these days, you will not be disappointed.

Always seems to be a long line, but never a long wait. They move the line and fill the orders with incredible speed and precision. Always consistent, and tasty. One of the best bargains in town.

The best hot green chili in town. It is an addiction. I was once on three quarts a week. It’s that good. It makes you sweat. It burns. It’s delicious. It’s worth it. Beef and bean burrito smothered in the hot green chili is yum nom om. Add sour cream. No lettuce. The food is only takeout so be prepared to eat your meal in a Styrofoam container. It makes it difficult while driving. It may be dangerous but it can be done. However I do recommend pulling over to the side of the road, perhaps at a park, to consume the goodness while watching the beautiful nature that surrounds. You’ll be glad you did as the hot chili runs down your face and spills down your front, burning but so yum. Still worth it.

Considering the price/quality ratio, I have to move up to 4 stars for this iconic Mexican carry out spot. Whenever I am in the area, I stop by here for good Mexican food at a reasonable price and take it home to devour in my back yard.

Every time I walk out of Santiago’s, I cannot contain my excitement. Seriously, I’m pretty sure there is an obvious grin as I practically skip to my car clutching a hot bag full of breakfast burritos. They are so cheap, it feels like I am getting away with something. Half and half is the way to go if you like it spicy but also enjoy tasting what you’re eating. I learned early on to buy more burritos than you think you’ll need… if they don’t disappear in one sitting, they make a great snack for later!

Quick and yummy! The hot breakfast burritos had just enough zing to make them yummy! There is standing room only(other than 1 little bench along the wall. Good news is that the service is quick! Great for a tasty bite on the go to get your day started!

This place is really fast-pace and can be intimidating to a first-time visitor. There is no seating and it is take-out only. I got a couple bean and cheese burritos, a breakfast burrito(mild). The food was good, filled burritos that are a cheesy delicious mess. Give it a shot!

Quick service and good burritos. Good green chile. The chips, unfortunately, taste like window cleaner about fifty percent of the time. They only serve breakfast burritos at certain times/days. Not super friendly, but not really rude employees.

Awesome breakfast burritos. Service moves fast so you better know what you want when you get up to the front of the line. The line gets long very quick. Will be back for sure. Order the entire menu and you won’t be disappointed!

I crave this place. Excellent green chile. I love hot food but can’t handle their hot green chile. I order the half and half. Breakfast burritos are out of this world. Every person rating Santiago’s rates the same. You will not go wrong. $ 2, and as people have said, they would pay more. I also love their chili rellenos. I order them crispy. Great on the wallet and very tasty. I also love the spot on Leedsdale

Delicious! Arguably some of the best burritos I’ve had in Colorado! Having never eaten here before, I ordered a carnitas burrito with mild green chili inside and a chicken and rice burrito with HOT green chili inside. That chili made the meal! Without it, these would have been good. With, they were amazing. The hot is not gringo hot, it’s HOT. Hot enough to clear out my sinuses and give me a runny nose while eating. I’ll definitely try the half-and-half next time! Costing $ 3 and $ 2.50 respectively, I figured they’d be tiny. I was wrong! Granted, they were not the size of the chain burrito places that fill half of it with rice, they were well worth their price. I’m already thinking about what deliciousness I’ll be devouring next time. Very soon!

Best breakfast burritos in town! I would pay $ 4 for them… But how much are they? Only $ 2!!! Excellent green chilli. Expect to wait in line. But trust me… It’s worth it. Should always go half & half(medium spice) or go hot if you are brave.
