I had to cancel an order. The first woman with whom I dealt was extremely difficult; however, I spoke with Lisa the next day and she was lovely, understanding and helpful.

I have gotten three sets of frames from Spectacles. I am very pleased. Dr. Blumenthal is a doll and just so wonderful. She helped me frames, prescription and even some allergies going on in and around my eyes. I really enjoyed her spirit and know how. I will definitely be a Spectacle customer for years to come, and I pray Dr. Blumenthal is there.
Oh, and the selection of frames is great. I have gotten the more «serious» work frames, the trendy nerdy kind and some dressy fancy ones too!
Anyway, stop in and make an appointment. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been obtaining my eyeglasses at Eyeglasses for nearly two decades. My meetings will always be on time, as well as the entire employees are very helpful and friendly. I informed them which kind of eyeglasses I enjoy and was instantly provided an entire selection of options. Costs had been excellent, and my eyeglasses had been prepared correct once they had been guaranteed. I are not able to suggest Eyeglasses sufficient.

Great doctor, customer service was spotty and sometimes silent and angry, be very patient, kind and nice, with low expectations, and staff may be treated better than I was (-:

They have a large selection and worked hard with Oakley to get me a pair of prescription sunglasses (apparently, the process with Oakley is a bit cumbersome). However, they refused to accept my insurance even though I was clearly told by the insurance company (multiple times) that prescription Oakley’s were covered and Spectacles was in-​network provider. As a result of their refusal to submit the claim to the insurance company on my behalf and their insistence the at I submit the claim directly after paying for the product, I paid $ 100 more than I should have (since I submitted the claim rather than Spectacles, it was treated as an out-​of-​network claim with reduced benefits). Bottom line is, there are many other places with large selections that will be more flexible with insurance, especially when the insurance company gives very clear instructions on how it should be submitted.

Have the family and myself going for years now and always get the best prescriptions and service. Very accommodating and great staff

I’ve been a client here for over a decade and have nothing but the best to say about this luxury eyewear boutique. The location is superb and the service is highly bespoke and customized. I have used Lisa and Dr. Weisfeld since I was a child and I only rely on them for my sunglasses, reading glasses and eyeglasses. The storefront is very beautiful and feels like a jewelry store. Even though I don’t live in Bergen county anymore I still come here.

I have been seeing Dr. Weisfeld since I was 18 years old. I am now in my 50s. He has done a phenomenal job of staying on the cutting edge of Optometry and knowing how to address and correct any eye problems you may have. He is warm, friendly, caring and extremely well-​informed on visual technology and medicine. I strongly recommend for you to visit his office and schedule an appointment right away!!!

I’ve been going to Dr. Weisfeld since I was in high school. I live in Manhattan and am still making the trek to nj to see him because of the tremendous amount of care they give to patients. They are courteous, responsive and always accommodating. When I order my contact lenses they ship them quickly (and they always include some tootsie rolls from the office yay). Love them all, great doctor and great staff.

I have worn eyeglasses and contact lenses for the better part of my life and have had been serviced visited many optometry practices. I have transitioned from distance only prescriptions to now more complex visual needs due to the challenges that aging has bestowed upon me. I find myself wearing corrective lenses for all the different activities I engage in from reading, performing surgery, snowboarding, computer work and just social occasions. My experience at Spectacles has been hands down the best single experience I have had in vision care. From the staff, doctors, product selection, precision crafting and customization to meet my unique lifestyle requirements Spectacles has exceeded all of my expectations. These folks really know their craft. I can’t thank you enough.

I have been a patient of Dr. Steve Weisfeld for over 20 years. During that time Dr. Weisfeld has saved me from going blind in my left eye not once but twice. I’m quite sure that I cannot ever begin to thank him enough for the gift of my sight. I do not have words adequate enough to explain how grateful I am to this man and how indebted I am to him. The staff at spectacles is fantastic, especially Lisa and Sarah. They always go out of their way to be helpful and make sure that I am well taken care of. If you are using another eye Doctor you are doing yourself and your eyes a terrible disservice.

I’ve gone to Spectacles a few times now. My eye exam was very well done and thorough. We went through plenty of lens’ before I decided upon the clearest one. After the exam, there were customer service representatives available immediately to assist me. The service was phenomenal and they truly cared about helping me find the perfect pair. All of the glasses on display were fashionable and quite a variety to choose from. My glasses came perfectly fit and exactly what I expected. I highly recommend Spectacles to anyone looking to get a new pair of glasses or eye exam. They are the best in the area!

I recently visited Spectacles in Englewood after moving to the area from out-​of-​state. I needed an eye exam and was hoping to find some new frames. I visited based on the strength of the reviews here on Unilocal and wasn’t disappointed.
I made an appointment to see Dr. Weisfeld for the exam and had a great experience with him. He’s very easy to work with and made the process enjoyable. We had a great conversation about Englewood and the Bergen area (again, I’m new to the area so it was great to chat with him about it).
Sarah from his staff took the time after the exam to show me some frame options. I have to admit that I made the process of actually selecting a frame very difficult for Sarah, taking forever to decide and going to other shops to look around for frames. It was Sarah and Terri’s dedication to helping me that made me want to do business with Spectacles. They were so willing to work with me that they actually ordered a set of Paul Smith frames for me to try which I had seen at another shop out of state.
If you appreciate customized, personalized, dedicated service then give this place a try the next time you need glasses or an eye exam. I truly believe that you won’t be disappointed.

A went here a few months back for an eye exam and glasses and dr Blumenthal and crew were really affable, helpful and considerate given I had my 4 year old with me. I just needed new glasses in existing frames and they didn’t push me too hard for the «free» pair.
I’ll be going there again.

I love going to spectacles. The store reminds of a museum exhibit displaying all the finest eye ware. They have an incredible selection of top brands at a reasonable price. When you walk through the door your get helped immediately. Before i knew about spectacles, the search for a pair of eyeglasses had always been a headache. Now, its more of a fun experience. I wish I had known about them a long time ago.
