Sun Life Beach Hotel

My husband and I spent a wonderful week here. The owners are awesome and accommodating. The room was spotless. Great week, would recommend to everyone!

Very impressed, you can tell there is a lot of hard work and effort going into keep this place clean. I came to town to visit the in-​laws and wanted to stay somewhere with privacy LOL. So I chose this place. When I originally called they were sold out, but said they would call me if anything opened. Just a few days later I received a text message at 8 AM telling me a room had just opened and They have been holding it for me. The level of service is outstanding. The hotel room was very very very clean! I would definitely recommend this hotel, as I am already booked again for Memorial Day.

One of the BEST hotels I stayed at during my stay in Florida. It really is the best of the best. Family owned and operated and great service was just the tip of the iceberg.
I just happened to be on Unilocal looking for the best place to stay on my last night in Florida. After two prior horrible hotels, after staying here, I wish I had been here all week! I really loved this little getaway. Snuggled right in the town of Englewood, Sun Life Beach Hotel is the perfect place to stay. After checking in, we were given our key to Room 6 and our assigned parking spot. They have a pool and two patio chairs we could have enjoyed but at the late evening, we went in to drop off our luggage and figure our what we wanted for dinner.
The room was huge! It had a mini kitchenette, fully furnished with all the plates, glasses, silverware and cookware you could need, including a mini microwave and sink. Additionally, they had a full-​sized fridge we could have easily stuck a full weeks worth of groceries in and a dining table set for 4. We had a love seat and all the cable we could watch (we settled on a good movie during our dinner). Thankfully, they also had a binder with food menus (which we utilized as it poured rain that night and we ordered pizza in– best local spots they have all the menus for!) as well as in the internet password for FREE WI-​FI!
The bathroom was cleaner than most 5 star hotels i have ever been to and they had ample amount of products available, in case you forget some or run out! The bed was by far the icing on the cake, as it was absolutely one of the most comfortable beds I have ever laid on– more comfortable than my own bed at home! And, I slept like a dream!
One thing I really loved about this little gem of a hotel is the great service. Since this little hotel is owned and run by a couple, they have put their heart and soul in the place and it shows. Each room is decorated slightly different and their kindness knows no bounds. We spoke with them on the phone earlier that day to ensure they have vacancy, and we were lucky to have grabbed the last room available! As one of the best deals in Englewood, and by far the best amenities, this is the place to go. While they do not offer AAA discounts, they are fairly priced compared to their competitors in the area.
If I ever go back to Florida’s west coast for vacation again, I will just stay here, as it was one of the best experiences I have had with a hotel while on vacation. Trust me when I say this place is worth every penny!

This is a great place to stay. The owners are very helpful, friendly & hard working. They even helped fix our cooler when a wheel fell off. You feel like your staying at your friends beach house. The rooms are decorated beachy not tacky, each one seems to be different & all top of the line plus lots of little extras. The buildings are old but very clean & very well maintained. The price is right & its convenient to the beach & lots of restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a hidden gem on the west coast of FL. I came for a visit Memorial Day Weekend with the family. I couldn’t have been more happy with my hotel choice of Sun Life Beach Hotel. They had just recently opened I think around March. I have stayed at all kinds of hotels when traveling from Super 8 to Marriott. This hotel was completely different than any other hotel I have stayed at. I felt like I was at home, from they way they have the room decorated to the sheet and comforters all felt like the room was just for me. I was very comfortable in this nice quiet city. The hotel is ran by a married couple with two younger children that live in the house right next to the hotel, my kids had a blast with them. The hotel was around 3 minute drive from Englewood Beach where we found tons of shark teeth. There were plenty of places to dine in the area aswel or you could make something to eat in your kitchenette. We used the grill on property and had a barbeque. An at night they lighted the tiki torches out side our room, that little touch made my night. The husband and wife were always very courtious asking us if we needed anything wich came in handy when my son got a splinter in his foot, they came to the rescue with tweesers, lol. I was very impressed with this hotel, the rates were resonable, the room was comfortable, and the location was amazing (nothing like a Florida sunset on the beach)
