Tilun Chan, DDS

This is my first Unilocal review, like most people I only feel compelled, for the most part, to write reviews for either extremely bad or absurdly phenomenal experiences. Fortunately our experience with Dr. Chan falls into the latter category.
Honestly, one of the best dentist in Northern Jersey! She is a gentle dentist, my kids love her! She is always punctual and highly knowledgeable in her field. There are no unnecessary procedures being recommended and the care we receive is superb and pretty affordable as far as dentistry goes. I know that I can refer my friends to her with confidence knowing that she will provide the same level of passion, enthusiasm and work ethic. Her office itself and staff are all top notch, very polite and neatly maintained. We are so lucky to have Dr. Chan as our dentist!

Love Love Love this office, Excellent dentist very sweet and friendly with children my kids love her after their first visit there’s no more crying or arguing to visit the dentist, as for me I will say that I had the best cleaning in my lifetime, also her staff is amazing

Dr. Chan recently filled a cavity for me. I’ve had many fillings in my life, and can say that this one was the most pleasant I’d ever gotten! Who can say getting a filling could be pleasant? I can, with honesty. It immediately took away the pain and there were no sensitivity issues afterward, as I have experienced in the past. She even followed up a couple days later. Never received follow-​up from a dentist before.
She is great! Just because you’ve been at the same dentist forever doesn’t mean you can’t change to someone better, trust me.

Awesome dentist. Dr. Chan has excellent bedside manners. She presents you with all the options and follows through with great results. I won’t go elsewhere. Even when she was out of network with my dental insurance, I chose to just pay out of pocket because that’s how much I trust her. On that note, she is fairly reasonable when it comes to paying out of pocket (without over charging like some doctors and dentist will do if you do not have the insurance to limit their maximum). :)

Dr. Chan is very kind, reassuring and thorough. She has a flat screen in front of the dentists chair which shows digital x-​rays, hulu videos, and an explorer video camera which shows you all your teeth. Her facility is clean and bright and her bed side manner is excellent. I will continue seeing her and If you are in the nearby area, definitely give Dr. Chan a visit.

I have very sensitive teeth and I’m always dying when I visit the dentist. However Dr Chan takes that into consideration and makes sure to apply this desensitizing gel which miraculously takes the pain away! Also she has a computer in her office which plays stuff from
so it distracts you while she works on your teeth. :)
