Wow, I had the opposite experience as the prior reviewer. I found Dr. Treihaft through a firm called Best Doctors, who rated him in the top 3−5% nationally. He was caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and took all the time with me I needed to understand my issue. I guess perhaps the prior person had to wait as he does seem to take all the time needed with the patient, which I so appreciated. I would be willing to have an extra wait knowing I would get the time required to feel comfortable and not rushed. It has to be difficult for a doctor to do scheduling not knowing exactly what issues each patient will have. I would go see Dr. Treihaft in an instant if I had another similar issue.

I went in on time for my appointment and I waited over an hour. Dr. Treihaft was not friendly but not rude. Just cold and distant. But he knew nothing about my neurological problem. Instead, he wasted my time trying to find out if I had carpal tunnel issues, which was not at all what I went in for. Then, he had me come back for a follow up visit and they took my deductible before I saw him. Still, he did nothing about the issue that I saw him for and kept trying to talk about carpal tunnel. So I wasted my time and my deductible. I don’t plan to go back. I’ve wasted 3 months of my time waiting on him to help me and I’m still in pain where I started.
