Lantier Tree Farm

With rows and rows of trees, we did find a beauty! The trees are endless & they give you a handsaw to cut it down. You can carry your tree to the front to be wrapped or a truck comes by and picks you up with your tree. The staff cleans the tree how you want to clean off the dead ends and then puts the netting on for you. They even help you take the tree to the car and tie it up for you. The gift store is a bit all over the place & could be better. Not many food items to choose from & remember it is cash only!

This is the Christmas tree farm that my family has been going to for years now. There are acres and acres of open land covered in Christmas trees of all sizes. There are pre-​cut trees available, but we walk throughout the farm until we find the tree we like and then cut it down ourselves. Handsaws are available to borrow. No chain saws allowed. When it is busy, there is a truck that goes around the farm to help drag the tree to the front, but in our most recent visit, the weather wasn’t great and visitors were few, so we dragged the tree ourselves.
The staff are friendly. They drilled a hole in the bottom of the tree (for our Christmas tree stand), wrapped it, and tied it to the car roof.

One of the reasons we go here — there is a small house that sells a variety of Christmas ornaments, knick knacks, etc. They also sell hot chocolate, cappuccino (from powder), hot apple cider, and wait… FUNNEL CAKES!
