Monmouth County Library System

One of the only things thats keeping me from moving out. The Monmouth County Library like many other great library has everything you want with a great selection and a few hidden hard to find gems amongst the collection. The staff is actually really nice once you get to know them.
Only downside though is they forgive a LITTLE too much from some of the shadier characters. By that I mean the people who keep coming here. Some of them I have heard stories of them bothering other patrons and they dont seem to do much about them. Kinda pisses me off to be honest. There is such a thing as security if someone misbehaves you have the right to throw them out. Dont be afraid because to put your foot down you cant keep having those shitheads ruin the experience for everyone and most importantly the library itself.
Oh but they dont forgive on fines I think (Like every other library) so thats gonna be a challenge. I borrow so frequently I probably spent so much trying to pay down my fine LOL
And of course I cant forget to mention the events. There is like almost always something going on every weekend. 90 percent of the time its war lectures and jazz concerts but occasionally you’ll get some really great ones in my opinion. Their animé convention was a success and by far my favorite thing they done.
ANYWAY like I said to all the bookworms, movie buffs, otakus, comic book geeks, internet addicts and what have you make this your new hangout.

Why aren’t there any reviews of this place? I’ve come here for the last 15 years of my life and I have to say, it’s a nice library with nice staff.
Their collection of books and DVDs are good and if you can’t find something, a librarian will be around to help you out!
Free books to take home and borrow? Free movies to watch and return? Why, don’t mind if I do!
