Better than expected. I really had no desire to go here even though we live pretty close by but my husband convinced me to go after he went to a business lunch here. I was really pleasantly surprised. The interior is huge and beautifully decorated. Service was attentive and excellent. Food was pretty good. I can’t say it was the best meal I’ve ever had but it was a decent option for dinner.

Went with 8 girlfriends last night for a birthday dinner. The food was delicious. We ordered from the family style menu. A few of the women in our group have diet restrictions, so it was difficult to choose dishes the whole group could eat. Greg came over and helped us and accommodated everyone. We felt well cared for and it was a very enjoyable evening. There was more than enough food to go around, and bottles of wine were half price last night!!! Nonnas will definitely be our«go-to» place.

Booked a 2nd birthday party with about 35 people and had the bigger of the 2 rooms. Specially said we are only booking if we get THIS room. Numerous times after made sure we made that clear as we did not want to be cramped. Well we got there and guess what they screwed us and we were in the smaller room cramped. I wanted to leave and go to Brioso’s but my wife after going off on these people decided we should stay because everyone was already there. The manager or the girl who booked us were not there and left the workers to deal with us. Instead of a nice party with room to walk around and mingle it was a debacle. If I had to get out of my chair 15 people had to get up and pull their chair in. The kids were like sardines between the adults and were not free to roam around the room. Total nightmare and they did this to a family who had 3 parties there before. Forget how the food tastes this was despicable and ruined our day. If you book a party here you better be cautious because they will screw you. I have seen another review here with the same BS. Just writing this makes me angry again.

Found a groupon for his place and passed it for years so I wanted to give it try with my wife. There are two breads given complementary but one is better over the other. Also given 2 spreads and oil which are good. The salad you can add on and you get a choice. I got the nonnas salad which is an antipasto salad with a white vingerette and very delicious. My wife had the Princepessa chicken and was amazing with great flavor. Scampi I had was very good and well portioned with light sauce on the bottom and has a thickness to it which I like. Décor is nice with a big fireplace in the middle of the room so the tables aren’t all against each other. Lightening is nice and light music to set the mood. They have a room also for parties. Greg our waiter was nice. If have the money to spend and need a romantic night out I would recommend it. If you find the groupon definitely get it.

I’ve been eating here for many years, the place is beautiful and the staff is friendly. The for the most part it’s excellent. I have had the veal chop park and thought it was great but last night I had the family style except for the veal everything was really good. I will be back

Been here many times and the food goes from good to excellent. Food is always fresh and flavorful. Love getting the family style menu and mixing it up. A must try is the chicken Marsala and Nonna’s salad. The family and I love celebrating birthdays and special occasions here. Last time we visited the food was out of this world and we really enjoyed the steak.

Nice appearance nothing out of the ordinary. I felt that they’re trying to be high-class with out the high service. The food was good. Service needs some work.

Back again. Packed on a Tuesday night. Had the zuppi de clam & zucchini fritte appetizers. Almost used all the bread to enjoy the delicious broth from the clams. For dinner I tried the scallops with the mushroom risotto. Scallop was cooked perfectly! My hubby tried the shrimp covered with mozzarella cheese & an oregano bread crumb mix on bread, delicious. Yana at the bar was lovely & attentive despite being busy & Joe one of the owners/managers was attentive & cared about our experience. We’ll be back.

I had been hearing about Nonna’s for a long time, and my daughter wanted to go here for a quiet family dinner to mark her 18th birthday. We were here on a Tuesday night, so it was quiet except for a dinner party in their enclosed dining area, and we were seated immediately. We started with the Meatball Sliders, and I was really impressed. The meatballs were meaty – not overly loaded with breadcrumbs – and the crostini were crisp while the gravy was well-balanced. It really worked and I was tempted to steal more than my share. For dinner I went with the Chicken Principessa, a dish of chicken layered with eggplant that was similarly well-balanced: not overly seasoned, allowing the main ingredients to stand out. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Service was professional and polite, and appreciated. I made sure to tip well for an excellent performance.

I went to Nonna’s today to celebrate my cousin’s engagement. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was served family-style and reminded me of Maggiano’s, but far better in taste and quality. The food served was two appetizers(meatball sliders and fried calamari), two salads(nonna’s salad and caesar salad), two pastas(penne alfredo and rigatoni filleto di pomodoro), one entrée choice(I chose the filet mignon), cake and coffee. I enjoyed everything I had especially the filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly medium and was one of the best I ever had. When I graduate and earn my degree, I plan to go there to celebrate. Highly recommend!

We’ve been here several times, as the food is always very good. Tonight started out a little rocky, as I have to assume the hostess was having a bad day/night. She wasn’t welcoming, smiling or attentive. Well, Kris and Olaa made up for that, as they were incredibly nice, on point with their service and extremely pleasant. Olaa, made us laugh, as she had a Mexican standoff with another co-worker fighting for the aisle(inside joke), and Olaa WON!!! Great staff, great meal and a very enjoyable evening. Unfortunately the hostess maintained her unpleasant demeanor and unfortunately was«too busy» to say good night. It’s the little things in life folks. YOLO people…

I had my bridal shower at Nonna’s and it was amazing! Not only was the staff(especially the head waiter, Chris) absolutely amazing but the food is incredible! Everyone had such a fabulous time and couldn’t stop raving about how great the restaurant was. And they made me feel SO special. They even knew how much I love cannolies and made me this ENORMOUS special cannoli!(See pic). Needless to say I definitely recommend throwing a private party at Nonna’s(or at least dinner)

The food was great and they had a nice wine list. However, the service was terrible. There were 2 waiters and they were slow and rude. One rang up an my dinner at the wrong price and when I brought it to his attention he rolled his eyes at me! We would have told a manager but there wasn’t one in site. That being said, even though the food was good, the service was so bad we will not be back and don’t recommend it to anyone. They get 2 stars instead of 1 because of the décor and food.

I have been coming to this restaurant with my family since it has opened its doors. The food and service has been consistently excellent. Tonight it is Easter Sunday, as well as my birthday! We flew in from Florida for my cousins wedding. It has been a family tradition to spend Easter at Nonnas!!! The food is fabulous!!! And tonight was no exception! The service was impeccable!!! It started out with our server asking us if we wanted the bad news first or last. we requested that the bad news be presented first. He said that they were out of filet mignon. This was very upsetting to my mother who had been looking forward to their filet mignon. this is a family-style restaurant so everything is shared. We chose the family package for $ 42 per person. This included three appetizers, two salads, two pastas, three entrées, coffee and a plentiful dessert sampler. everything was fantastic. The timing was perfect for everything that was brought to our table. Take note that the challenge for everyone at the table to agree on what to order was tedious. I’m not going to get into everything that we ordered tonight because that would take at least an hour, however the highlights were the Caesar salad, the shrimp scampi bread, chicken Parmesan, Veal Marsala, fried calamari, orrecchiata w sausage and broccoli rabe. The food was fantastic and to top it off our server came out with a platter of grilled vegetables and whatever filet mignon he was able to conjure up with a lovely rich brown gravy with mushrooms as a complement to our meal!!! The service was amazing and attentive in all areas!!! I wish I had remembered our servers name!!! I’m so terrible with remembering names and need to fix this so that people get the credit they are due. honestly this has been the best meal I have had in a very very long time, and definitely since I have moved to Florida. I had to fly back to New Jersey in order to get a nutshell I love it! my family loves it. Give it a try. This is not a chain. They strive to produce excellent service and excellent product.

(Rating based on the area) Reliably delicious Italian food. Appetizers are delicious, salads are fresh, and portions are always very generous. Good service and descent wine list. Great for a crowd or a girl’s night out — the atmosphere can be very noisy.

The restaurant itself is nicely decorated. We were on a long table to fit our large party. We did the family style option, which included a lot: fried calamari, clams, mussels, cavatappi nonna and chicken lemone. The appetizers were better than the entrees, in my opinion. Although, the pasta was light, which I liked. The only downside was that it was very cold in the restaurant. We kept getting a draft from the door near the kitchen. We were seated by a fireplace, but had to sit in front of it directly, in order to feel the heat. I don’t enjoy my meal nearly as much if I’m freezing.

The reviews here had me a little scared to go, but I had a Groupon, so I figured, what the heck. Service — fabulous. Our servers(2) were very attentive and very knowledgeable about the food. Ambiance — beautiful. Nice paintings on the wall and a cozy fireplace in the main dining area. I noticed a private room on the way out that would fit 10 — 12 comfortably and it was also decorated very nice. The bar looked a little small, and I did see a Happy Hour menu, but personally, when I think of Happy Hour, I think of places that are less classy than this place. Food — I saw someone posted overpriced. I disagree. The servings were nicely sized(more than you need). The flavoring was good, and the presentation was also good(not impressive, but good). Our total bill with 2 drinks a piece, an appy each, salads and the main course was $ 111. That for us is about average. Beau had fried raviolis for an app and rigatoni with old fashioned meatballs. He said it was really good, and he wound up doggy bagging a portion of it. I had calamari for an app(it was okay, not bad, not the best, but better than most) and a today’s special of goat cheese filled raviolis with grilled chicken in a peppery olive oil ‘sauce.’ It was excellent, and I too, doggy bagged a portion. He had a margarita on the rocks, which was eh, and I had a glass of house pinot grigio which was better than most house wines. All in all, I thought it was a good outing. I am not a fan of Route 9 traffic, but would definitely go back again. Ciao :)
