About halfway through our takeout my daughter found small bugs crawling in her sashimi. The same bugs were found in my chicken garlic. First time and never again!!!

This place is pretty good! I’ve had a couple of different meals here. While they do serve Thai food, I definitely prefer the Chinese food at this restaurant. I’ve tried the chicken of Thai and yellow curry with chicken, and while it’s not horrible, I’ve definitely had better Thai food. I ordered a combination platter with general tso’s chicken with fried rice and it was pretty delicious. Also have tried their sweet and sour chicken. It was just okay, the chicken was a little mushy by the time I got home to eat it. Maybe it just was waiting in the to go box for too long. I do think that the fried rice here is really good. Probably one of the best in the area(that I’ve found so far). They also deliver so that’s pretty convenient as well. Overall, I’d definitely go back to try more.

Should you order from them, do not use your credit card. Mark my words, you WILL have your number stolen. Look at reviews for the other locations. This has happened to me and several other people.

Food is always good and the delivery service is quick! Chicken and broccoli and the general Pso’s chicken is the best!

I’ve only ordered Japanese here. The food is decent but as the restaurant advertises to serve Chinese, Japanese, and Thai food, it is a tell-tale sign that the place is likely decent for all but not great for any. This was certainly the case for the sushi. The prices though were very good compared to other options around.

Purchased a new Audi convertible from the Freehold location with the assistance of Lane Griffin. He was knowledgable & had a great deal of patience making my purchase a pleasant experience for me. Joan C.

After reading all the wonderful reviews I am sincerely confused as to how this place got such a high rating??? Perhaps their Japanese and Chinese food is better than their Thai?! I came here after a delivery man slipped a menu into our office advertising this restaurant. I am wary of adverts like these(smack of desperation), but when I noticed they serve Thai I decided to try it out. What a mistake. I ordered the green curry lunch special and as soon as I opened the box I had a feeling the food would be terrible. The curry was congealed and filled with frozen okra and green beans(which wtf for a green curry?!) It tasted even worse than it looked, the curry had the consistency of mucus and tasted nothing like Thai Green Curry… I threw it away uneaten. Side note: my coworker ordered a bento box and he said his food was ok, but bland. Bottom line: the first and last time ordering from here.

The food is good, delivery is quick, and odering online is very covenient. When ordering online, do not use your credit card. Their online system appears to be compromised. Pay with cash!

****DONOTUSEYOURCREDITCARDONTHEIRWEBSITE!!!**** Unfortunately after placing online orders three times since the end of December, my husband and I have had the three credit cards we used compromised, fraudulent charges on all three, within a three week period. Fortunately there wasn’t terrible damage done, but a major inconvenience. Their food is actually very good. However, I feel uncomfortable giving them our business after the credit card issues.

I’ve been going to Sulton Wok for years. I don’t like any chinese place. I would rate them all one star but Sulton gets 4. Because usually they are pretty good. Today I had Chicken with Broccoli, Pork Fried Rice, and Chicken and Rice soup. It was pretty delicious. My boss stole some from me LOL. Although, it did get kind of salty for me today. I don’t really care for the chicken and rice soup. My allstate guy didn’t like his Chicken Noodle. But other than that, they do orders online which is Sahhweett. I hate calling restaurants and ordering food. With a written order they CANNOT mess up. Normal prices. Decent delivery. The only Chinese Restaurant I go to ever.

Sesame chicken and General Tso’s chicken are awesome. Their lunch special combos are really good and decently priced.

Literally the best won ton soup I’ve ever had. Many restaurants have thin won tons and taste generally disappointing. Here they are robust and taste great! Food is prepared quickly. We have been ordering from here for years and they have never gotten our order wrong. Love it!

**Update — 02/28/14** This place still makes AMAZING Asian dishes that are not Chinese. The Malaysian Rendang Chicken is one of my favorite dishes, and at lunch time it is only $ 8 and comes with fish cakes, fried tofu, some kinda cucumber/peanut dish that’s tasty. Just a great deal. Their Thai dishes are also great, though not really authentic Thai(except the Pad Thai), they are really good dishes anyway. If you live or work within their delivery area, I highly recommend you try their Malaysian/Thai dishes. At lunch, they are a really good deal, and hearty portions. Good stuff.

When I think of Americanised-Chinese Cuisine, I think of fried foods, stuff that Americans perceive the Chinese to love and almost often consider it Chinese comfort food that is so «exotic» and«unique» and often times, they can get disappointed on the presentation that it’s noodles, chicken/beef/seafood over rice and«Egg Foo Young» and so-on-and-so-forth. While some of the statements hold mixed feelings, it matters less at Sultan Wok III; it seems as though Sultan Wok III makes Americanised-Chinese Food… above-average. My favourite Americanised Chinese food is Beef with Broccoli over White Rice, as that is my go-do default dish of choice with a side of Hot & Sour Soup(to properly judge a Chinese restaurant and its chefs, in my opinion.) I must say that, while Sultan Wok doesn’t serve the most excellent and the most authentic Chinese cuisine, it sure does nail it to a «superb» level, which is a few levels down the chart of culinary excellence. Portions are generous and nicely done to satisfy the Americanised-Chinese Food-craver. Their promise of hot and fresh delivery and carryout is definitely«in the bag.» The savoury taste of the fully cooked meat along with just the right amount of sauce and the careful non-smothering of the vegetables, or the broccoli, made things just right. My favourite Americanised-Chinese dish isn’t made into a horrible mess here! The soup, of which I judge on, is on par with most Americanised-Chinese restaurants, but it isn’t perfect for even a five-star rating; like this overall review, it gets a three-star rating. Over the years, I’ve ordered fairly-inexpensive Japanese food from them. I usually order the appetisers and the Bento Boxes, usually the Shumai, Kani(Crab meat) Salad, Gyoza, and/or any of the Bento Boxes with Sushi or Sashimi. I’ve never had a problem with their food quality, so the fish that they serve are good to eat and don’t cause any hazards«down in the technical parts of your body.» The Sushi Dinners, though, are slightly expensive. That’s up to you to judge because I go ahead and get the chef’s assortment of sushi when it came to sushi dinners. They’re not half bad, though… but like Sushi in general, the prices per roll can get pretty high. I’ve tried out their additions of Thai and Malaysian cuisine in the recent years(mostly Thai because I’ve had enough Malaysian cuisine in the Fujian«Brooklyn Chinatown» in New York.) I must say that their Thai cuisine is probably the best addition they’ve put into their menus. I can’t get enough of their Pad Thai… no other Americanised-Chinese Restaurant does a Pad Thai with good flavour instead of a generic dried noodle dish… at least none that I’ve gone through here in the Northeast U.S. It looks like Sultan Wok might beat out some inexpensive Thai restaurants around the area in terms of taste and quality… I’d hate to say it, but I think it might be true! I’ll have to keep food-exploring to find out if I have to edit this review in the near future. Ah, I think I went overboard on the satisfaction of the food. I probably should describe the décor… but that’s short and simple. I believe it’s better to call for delivery. The interior looks like a typical downtown Chinese restaurant… there’s nothing special and there’s probably nothing that can make it too special. Not to completely discourage eating-in, but maybe you should take it that they keep your food nice and hot all the way to your home anyway. Your call on that! Overall, its collection of East and SouthEast Asian Cuisines are really above-average. Americanised Asian cuisines seem to be good when it comes out of Sultan Wok III. I won’t say this could ever become a frequent habit, but once in a while, when I think about it, I enjoy Sultan Wok the most compared to other nearby competitors. I wouldn’t hesitate to eat from them either. They’re probably an above-average Americanised-Chinese delivery restaurant in the area and most Americanised-Chinese food cravers will probably enjoy Sultan Wok!

Place is kind of icky looking, but the food sure is good! Not the best Chinese food I have ever had but definitely pretty good for what I have tried in the local area. We are a fan of Sultan Wok and will continue to order from them! They deliver really quickly too!

This general area has all horrible Chinese food, so I have to rely on Sultan Wok.(BTW feel free to message me of you know of a good place.) The food is decent, they make nice shrimp toast, and they have sushi and Thai on the menu. When I’ve gotten the sushi it was eh, like sometimes decent and sometimes boring. Nothing wrong with the freshness of the protein, more that the rice was like dried out maybe. The food is good, not like stunning good, but not bad. I wish I could do 3.5 stars, because they aggravate me from upcharging for lots of things, like substituting brown rice, or switching to broccoli instead of red and green peppers, or getting an extra sauce. ================ OMG I’m editing my review. I just read that they hack credit cards used on their website, and I googled around and lots of people said it. And I’ve used their website ordering and had my card hacked! I wonder if this was the source. I think I will try with one of those prepaid types of card. It would be nice to know how this happened!

I ordered their food three times in the past week. Quality varies from OK to pretty good depending on the day and time you order. Delivery time was about 30 — 40 minutes. Overall what you would expect from an average Chinese place, every once in a while it will be surprisingly good.
