This place has good food but horrific staff. They are famous for rude staff. In a bigger town this restaurant would not survive. Decent food though and a good beer selection, if you have patience to wait an hour for food and deal without me of the rudest staff I have ever seen. And that’s saying something, because I have a lot of patience.

I have now been to Callahan’s on three separate occasions. Each time being worst than the previous. The menu selection is EXTREMELY limited and the good is NOT good. This most recent experience, I went with my husband and a friend of ours. We ordered our drinks and a side of chips and queso. We never got the chips and queso and it took almost 15 minutes to get our drinks. We ordered food when our server came back. Nearly an hour later we still didn’t have our food. We almost left money for the drinks and got up and walked. The waitress and came back and said that she was sorry we never got our chips. We told her if our food wasn’t in the window we would cancel our order and leave. Sure enough our food came out the next time she came around. And it was TERRIBLE. I ordered the fish chips and the fish was just ONE fried ball of batter and fish. The fries were cold. The burger my husband ordered was clearly a frozen patty. NEVERAGAINWEWILLGOBACK.

This is definitely the best bar/restaurant in Enid! Great atmosphere and where most of Enid goes after work for a drink and dinner! One of my favorites is the Ahi Tuna either as an appetizer or as a salad… it is always lightly seared or you can have it raw! It is always super fresh and always consistently fantastic!!! Great place! It is adults only so no kids !

Callahan’s is one of my favorite finer dining establishments in Enid! Their atmosphere is great, and their food is even better! My personal favorite on their appetizer menu is the Saipan sampler. Their ribeye steak with the whiskey sauce is phenomenal! Very knowledgeable staff. I’d highly recommend it for a date night or for a casual evening with friends! Only downside is that you have to be 21 to enter.

If you’re from Enid you already know about Callahans and you don’t need me to tell you how great it is. If not, this is the best food in Enid, hands down. Shepherd’s pie, AWESOME. Pork rib eye with«mushy peas», awesome. Blue cheese burger and pub fries, awesome. Hog wings? Yes, pork elbows apparently, served with a BBQ dipping sauce … awesome. Honestly I’ve never had bad food here, and know I’m safe to order anything on their menu. The service can be slow because they are always jam packed, but it’s worth the wait. This is a review for the restaurant part only, though… not a drinker.

First local joint we went to after we moved to Enid for a job. It was calm when we got in at around 5:30p on a Saturday … By time we were done with dinner it was bumpin! Service was great, nice beer list, good balance of food selection. We got the hawg wings for an app and oh were they amazing! Next time I’m going for a double order of those! The bf got cedar plank salmon with potatoes and Brussel sprouts … I got the ahi tuna steak seared with Brussels as well. We were both disappointed in the Brussels but we got over it quickly. The cedar plank salmon was perfect and my tuna was tasty but was definitely more medium then seared rare. After two rounds of drinks, an app and two entrees we paid $ 60 … Not exactly the cheapest but it’s a small price to pay for a good local Irish pub! Will be back!

I’m a Callahan’s fan. Yes, I’ve gotten frustrated on busy nights and considered tossing a malatov cocktail through the front glass while slaughtering feral hogs with a chainsaw on their porch. Who hasn’t? But that hate and discontent has always subsided when my weird beer is delivered by a quirky beauty queen. On the rare occasions I have patronized this place sober and alert my service, meals, and satisfaction have been excellent. Consistently awesome food. Consistently inconsistent service. Sometimes it’s so fast it’s terrifying. Other times, slow enough to cause even me to cuss. And that’s actually okay. It gives the place it’s odd Enid vibe. Perhaps even some character. Where else in Enid can you have a variety of high point beers, strong drinks, and original creative food? My house, of course. But you’re not invited. Essentially: Callahan’s is excellent. I have never had anything but excellent food here. And the beer is perfect. To top things off the waitstaff is always interesting and sometimes downright adorable.

Great dinner! The place was packed but service was still good. I had the Shepherds Pie and my husband had the Rib Eye with whisky sauce, yum yum. Our server was so busy she wanted to leave with us!

We went here for date night on a recommendation from a friend, and we were not disappointed. Here we go… The Good: — You get to choose where you sit. This is great because if you feel like a lot of action, you can sit in the lower section near the bar. If you feel like a little more quiet, head to the back dining room. — Pretty good menu selection. My steak was cooked just how I wanted it, and the sides all were fresh and tastey. — My wife chose the brussel spout side with her entre. She never had them before and found out that they are great when cooked right. We’ve now made them twice for our kids the way we ate them here and the kids beg for more! — Friendly staff — Quick service — Clean atmosphere The Not So Good: — No one under 21 allowed. English pubs are family eating establishments. This is a bar. So if you want to share the flavor with your family, wait till they grow up or order it to go. — No parking except what you can find along the street. — A little pricey for what we got, but still, it all tasted great. Bottom Line: great place to hang out at night and get some good food. We will probably go back for another great meal. Disclaimer: I am not a bar person, so I cannot give any opinion on the drink selection, service, or anything related to it.

It’s not often that I can give a 5 star rating! This place is well deserving of this rating! Great attentive staff. Eclectic food and a stellar beverage selection. This establishment is a 21 and up only pub. It’s got a nicer sized covered patio with heaters available in the winter. Give it a shot, you’ll be impressed.

Callahan’s is the best bar in town– which is really not too difficult in Enid. Imagine a bar with a serious identity crises– is it Irish, is it a British pup, a taco truck, a sports bar, a burger joint? Which honestly probably doesn’t bother anyone around here too much. If it has beer who cares. One of the only places you won’t be drowned by cigarette smoke, they have a good selection of drinks and food. However, the food is pretty mediocre, think a step up from Applebee’s/Chili’s type restaurants. The place is usually stuffed to the brim, so good luck finding a table on a Friday or Saturday night. The wait staff leaves a lot to be desired, especially if you get seated upstairs– they have a high turnover rate and a lot of the girls they hire struggle to get a basic drink order right. There is one guy who works around the bar area that has his stuff together, but that’s about it. I used to go here pretty often, until I got really sick off a bad drink– a creamy liquor concoction that had me running out to the parking lot before my food was delivered. Since then I’ve stuck to a strong bow or water. A really after you go a few times it gets old. Most overrated place in town– like the Italian restaurant, this place is always packed because you don’t have any alternative.

The food here is great– British pub food and the closest Enid will get to an Indian takeaway. My husband and I have eaten here twice, and after our last experience we won’t be returning for a while. Callahan’s does not have a hostess, or at least bit that we’ve seen. You have to wander around to find a place to sit and then pray a server will notice a new face in their section. This is kind of a hit or miss system, especially in busy nights. Our first visit, this worked fine as we just sat in the bar area. The second time we had to sit on the second story patio and had to flag someone down-annoying, but not the end of the world. When we finally got our waitress’ attention, we ordered drinks and food at the same time since we had no idea when we’d see another server. We waited close to a half hour before our food showed up-still no beer even after we’d asked someone who looked like they might be management to go find it. My food was barely lukewarn and I had no utensils, but I started picking at it with my pita bread anyway because I was starving. Our beers finally showed up ten minutes later with some forks, and my husband’s beer was incorrect and given to me at first.(I ordered a hefewiesen, and he had ordered a blue moon and was given a bud light.) Our poor server was clearly in the weeds and couldn’t get out again. If there was a way to control traffic better, this wouldn’t have happened. We will probably end up here again at some point as many of our friends love it, but we won’t be staying if it’s busy. Two star review. Pros: nice enough atmosphere, tasty food(when hot) and decent beer selection for Enid. Cons: terrible service, can’t handle crowds, parking is pretty hit or miss

Went here based on the fact that this is the most reviewed restaurant here in Enid. Went inside to find a dimly lit interior, 5 tv’s mounted on top. From the outside there’s a outdoor eating area and what appeared to be an upstairs area. This place has a rectangular setup with multiple levels. Bar area looked nice for a pub with good beers on tap. Their menu offerings are very diverse for a Irish pub. Many items from traditional American, British, Irish, Indian, etc… Their Indian offerings seemed tempting so I ordered the chicken madra. It was a red sauce with chicken, red and green peppers, rice and some nan bread. It was good, the only complaint is it had way too many green peppers. What seemed like a whole green pepper. The nan was really good. Our server was good and we were checked on enough. I would like to come back and try a few other things.

Oh, Cally’s(for short/lack of a better nickname), probably one of the only decent places in Enid to grab a pint, some pub grub, and enjoy time with friends. You’ll certainly run into the occasional student-pilot-military-dude-who’s-probably-getting-on-your-nerves(married to one — they’re the best) as it is their occasional hang out, as well as surprisingly-rich-Enoids and OMG-I’M-SO-DRUNK-cougars. It’s quite a sight for the eyes! The restaurant labels itself as a «British Isles» culinary delight… with Eastern influences? The theme doesn’t need to be questioned, but the wide variety of food proves to be interesting; it seems to work for them. I’ve sampled many things on their menu and enjoyed it all. Don’t be scared of the Curry Nachos — they are surprisingly delicious. The wait staff is extremely hit or miss, usually miss. I’m pretty sure most of them can’t tell the difference between sh! t and apple butter(they’re that oblivious), but don’t let the bad apples deter you from the good. If you’ve got Jennifer as your waitress, you’ll be treated right. The restaurant fills up pretty quickly in the evenings, and arrive early for trivia on Thursday nights. Definitely the best bar in Enid; their selection of bottled/draft beer is indeed worthy of your attention. Do take a moment to check the place out. Oh, and leave the kids at home — no one under 21 is allowed inside.

Tiffany and I like a good pub and do travel just to visit a good one. On those days when we can’t get away, Callahan’s makes sure we don’t have the pub blues. The service is good and the selection of beers on tap are as good as any you would find in a larger town. The food is served fast, hot, and fresh even on somewhat busy nights. Be advised the place is crowded on Fri and Sat nights and you might have to drink your pint standing!
