It’s a coin toss when you visit a restaurant that is inside a hotel, your going to enjoy it or… you won’t. Raymie’s seems to be a haven for the older crowd in Enid and the service reflects that, slow very slow. And everything is very well seasoned with bland. I’ve been twice for breakfast; the second time was just to make sure the first was not a fluke. If you’ve nothing else to do and have all day to do it, and don’t mind dull flavorless fare you just might like this place.

Biscuits and gravy: 5 stars Omelet and home fries: 2 stars Service: 3 stars If not for the biscuits and gravy, I’d probably give Raymie’s 2 stars. Raymie’s is the restaurant in the Ramada Inn on Owen K. Garriott. It’s classic diner food; simple omelets, egg dishes, and griddled items. I had breakfast at Raymie’s on a Friday. There were only about a half dozen tables seated, but I heard a regular comment that it was busy. So, even though it wasn’t close to half full, I guess this is busy for Raymie’s. The menu prices are very reasonable(see my pictures). I had the sausage and cheese omelet and added jalapenos, green peppers, and onions. No extra charge for the extra veggies. Omelets come with your choice of potato(I had home fries) and bread(I had biscuits and gravy). The omelet wasn’t huge, which is good. A lot of omelets are comically large at breakfast joints now. The omelet was overcooked, the eggs were far too firm. Also, one of the ingredients inside was cold. Since they were all mixed up, I couldn’t tell exactly which one, but I’m guessing it was the jalapenos. Raymie’s isn’t shy about the ingredients, the omelet was full. I’d say it was below average, you can probably cook this omelet at your house. The home fries were cooked well, and apparently they use whatever vegetables are in season, which I think is a great idea. But, they were severely underseasoned. I had to add salt, pepper, and hot sauce. This leads me to another issue with Raymie’s: the only hot sauce choices are Tabasco and Louisiana. Nothing else. So, if you are a fan of other sauces, like I am, I’d recommend you bring your own. The saving grace of the breakfast was the two fluffy biscuits with a large bowl of sausage cream gravy. This was the best gravy I’ve had in a very long time, it’s full of sausage and seasoned very well. Had a wonderful peppery flavor. And, the consistency was perfect; not too thin, not too thick. The biscuits were also spot on, they were fluffy on the inside and browned well on the top. They didn’t get too gummy and went very well with the gravy. I’ll definitely be back for biscuits and gravy, but I doubt I’ll get an omelet again.
