I’ve been driving through Biltmore Lake for the better part of 10 years now. My parents live(lived) on the other side of the community, so in order to get to their place, you had to drive through BL. It is such a beautiful drive. Every Christmas Eve we would all pile up in the car and drive around Biltmore Lake to see the Christmas decorations. recently, my parents moved into this lovely community and i have grown even more fond of it. The people that live here are all really nice, but that can be said about a ton of quaint Asheville neighborhoods. People in these parts are pretty nice in general, amiright?! Well, the staff at the clubhouse are also pretty amazing. They made the transition into the neighborhood very smooth, and I now my parents have really been happy with everything. There are tons of community events provided to the residents almost daily, and they really make you feel welcome and at home here, even though I don’t technically live her; I’m just a guest of my parents. If you are looking for a lovely, Norman Rockwell-esque neighborhood in Asheville, or just outside of it, you may want to consider checking this area out. Besides all the community amenities, I should also mention that it is near to shopping, about 10 minutes from Biltmore Village and Biltmore Park and close to I40 and I26. So yeah, kinda awesome, right?
