Boldly Going

I have been in here several times and have mostly only ordered lattes, both hot and iced (once I got an iced tea, which disappointingly is not loose, whole-​leaf). They’ve never been terrible, just inconsistent (espresso to milk ratio off), and the barista — always the same one every time I’ve gone in — is always sort of awkward/​unsure of herself. It never fails that I order a drink, she steps away to begin making it, and then immediately turns around and asks again what it was I ordered. Does she really forget it that quickly?
Anyway, I always get my drinks to go, have never sat in because it just doesn’t have the sort of ambiance that makes me want to stay and hang out. I just prefer more hipster-​y coffee shops, and this is definitely the opposite. That being said, there is a lot of space, it’s quiet, and it never seems that busy, so it may be a great place to get some work done.
They do have coffee cubes so your iced coffee doesn’t get watered down, and they are actually the first place I have ever been to that has offered this. To be honest, I’m a little ashamed that I didn’t already know this was a thing, but it is brilliant.
I’ll be back, only because it is the closest coffee shop to the Enterprise Gate, but I definitely prefer getting my coffee from Cupcakes Y’all, outside of the Faulkner Gate.

I love their hot cocoa !!! We would have our bible coffee dates here which is a great location for a large group of people. Clean and very affordable menu

Good drink selection and ample seating. Plenty of outlets for studying. Great study spot but wish they had longer hours.

I LOVE their iced coffee with coffee cubes! You get a discount if you check in on facebook, and their lunch card takes no time to fill up :-) they have gift cards too, which we recently used to reward stellar service at another business in town (Enterprise car rentals)

The coffee is hot and there’s plenty of seating. That is all.

Great coffee, atmosphere and service. I will definitely make this a recurring morning ritual.

This is a great little coffee shop. They have quite a few choices and they even have some house specials. The barista was very friendly and remembered what I got. Great coffee

This place is great! I moved to Enterprise worried I wouldn’t find a decent place to get coffee seeing as I was a Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts kinda girl. Well this blows Starbucks out of the water! Ive tried their teas and coffee and its all amazing. Their Iced Caramel Macchiato is the best! They also have plenty of tables and places to sit which I love. Great service and great drinks!

So, found this place by Unilocal and loved the coffee. We wanted to chill while we waited on family to get into town. We were very directly told they were closing in 5 mins abd when my husband said I’d like one to go, only to be told he had just poured out the coffee. I was just being helpful and told him that Unilocal had them closing at 9pm. He quickly told me that he hated Unilocal,so I told him that we were from out of town and that was the only way we actually found their coffee shop. He still was not enthused so, in turn we will not return even though their was great coffee.

I just left this place and it was the first time I ever been here. The only reason I came was because I was given a gift card to try this place out. It’s weird I past this place everyday for the past year but never noticed it or cared to go inside. I walked in and noticed a big place with lots of comfortable places to sit. I may have to bring my homework here next time. The Batista greeted me with a beautiful smile and I nervously told her it was my first time. She recommended something that she said is strong and has a mix of chocolate in it and it’s delicious. I started drinking at it and notice the temperature was not to hot or not to cool. It was perfect drinking temperature could of been everything else she mixed into it but it was good. Here is the mistake I made following the recommendations of the person who sent me here. DO NOT EAT THE MEXICAN CHEESE CAKE… After one bite I was in heaven and I know this is bad news for my belly because a fat kid loves cake! Anyways Overall good good and good I’ll be back for sure.

I’m a fan. Decent cup of joe and good espresso drinks as well. Definitely a great spot for all the flight school students to study. There’s a ton of ample room and nice furniture to get lost in a good book or study those –10’s.
Favorite drink… try the Dirty Hippie

They have this delicious concoction of cheesecake/​churro hybrid that is to die for! The shop is great for large groups of people and the lounge area has comfy couches to sit, sip and talk. The staff is always quick and courteous and super helpful on helping you decide what to order from there large drink menu. The only drawback I’ve run into is my friend asked if she could buy a banana for her toddler to munch on as we drank our coffee, and the girl behind the counter said no. She said she needed it to make smoothies, obviously we were ok with it, but thought it a little strange to refuse to let someone buy a product that is clearly sitting on the counter ready to be used for consumption. I also hate their lids! They use the dome lids, which allow for whip and things of that nature, but I always get an over pour of my drink, which then leaks all over me, the car, or anything else that comes in contact with my drink.

The owners wife makes one of the best desserts I’ve ever had in my life… «Mexican Cheesecake» make sure you get two because they go fast and and are like creamy sugary heaven. Coffee is great and staff are sweet and remember your favorite items (my favorite is the hippie chic barista) the atomposhere is cool and calming and makes you feel warm and fuzzy. And to top it all off this place offers a painting party twice a month by a great local artist!

Got to love a coffee shop where they know you on sight and they have your order ready for you just as soon as you hit the door

Recently remodeled but kept the same crazy-​friendly staff. Lots of space, plug-​ins, and the baristas are on point. Also, free wifi that may be some of the best public wifi in town.

If you never went to a Starbucks in your entire life you might think this place is just great.
I thought Boldly Going was going to be Star Trek themed (it’s in Enterprise, get it?!) but nope, just Jesus, Jesus, Jesus on every possible surface.
And yes when i asked for a shot of «coconut» in my drink, i meant syrup. Did you think I meant an actual F*king coconut? I swear, 2 different baristas asked me «like…the syrup?» Yes, like the syrup. Like that giant board behind your head that lists Syrup flavors and coconut among them. You don’t sell coconuts.
Don’t let anybody tell you the baked goods are good… they’re boxed mixes at best.

I grew up with Starbucks but when we moved here, there wasn’t one available in town. Found this place by chance and I looove it. They have great baked goods too. The owner is so awesome and if there is something you cannot find, you can describe it to him and he can make something similar or if you want a recommendation, he is awesome at that too! My FAVORITE pleasure here was a medium grasshopper hot, extra shot and a mexican cheesecake. They make an assorted of baked goods and they are all worth trying! GREAT LOCAL COFFEE SHOP!

Well, they sure do want you to know about Jesus or know that they know or something. But hey — great mochaccino! Avoid the muffins. If you’re lucky enough to get a seat on a couch, very comfortable. If there was a bit more comfortable seating and if the muffins were better, I’d give it four stars.
As with many single barista coffee shops, the line can move very slowly in the morning but the drinks are worth it if you’re not in a huge rush.
I still prefer The Coffee Bean in Daleville — mostly because the seating is a lot better. However, this place is a solid competitor in terms of drink quality.

Since my experience I had with the prior review I have tried Boldly Going several more times and it has been a MUCH better experience. I would recommend Boldly Going to anyone looking for a great coffee shop experience. One of the bonuses of this coffee shop that no other coffee shops in the area meet is that there is NO television. This is a big perk to the coffee shop experience, as I like going to coffee shops for soft music and a great atmosphere to talk to friends or read!

Despite my personal hesitation over the fact that it is a religious place (a church meets there every sunday and religious décor covers the walls), I went in. I was very impressed with my chai latte. In fact, it was the best I ever had. Too bad I was treated a little differently from the church group that walked in after me. If you want a good latte though, I suggest this place.
