My family and I usually go to La Leyenda about 2 times a month and we all really enjoy the food. The service is fast and friendly although it can get very loud with a lot of customers and you have a hard time talking. I usually get the steak and shrimp fajitas for two and the amount of food is more than sufficient for my wife and I. The quality is very good and quantity is perfect. The price will not break the bank and I feel it is very reasonable.

This is probably only one out of two Mexican restaurants that I can eat at out here. We have only been twice but when I miss Mexican food from back home, we have come here. I used to like that they would prepare to-go virgin frozen drinks. When we went last time, they said that they can no longer do that so I assume some meatball screwed it up. We have gotten take out both times. The food is prepared quickly and the ladies have always been pleasant at the register. Our last visit, they missed several items on our order but once I called to let them know, they had it ready in less than 10 minutes when I came back. They have a long menu which can be a little confusing but they seem to cover all of the major dishes that one would need. The food overall is okay and not something that I crave or would miss when I leave. It is however, noteworthy given that the options in town are slim to none with some restaurants making Taco Bell look 5-star.

This is my go to Mexican restaurant. Authentic. Delicious. Fresh. I’ve only ever had the steak fajitas because they’re so good and I don’t want to eat anything else while I’m there. Hubby tried the chile rellenos and liked it and he’s extremely picky about his rellenos. His only critique was he wanted more sauce on them. The horchata is delicious. There’s another mexican restaurant that doesn’t serve horchata or micheladas(wtf!) so another point for la leyenda! Love this place.

Have eaten here twice now. One of the only places I’ve been to more than once here in Enterprise. Very good home style Mexican food. Huge menu, I recommend the daily special for a good meal at a decent price. First time I was there they were out of horchata, I did not know what guava or some other fruity type of drink were so the very nice waitress brought me a glass of each to let me try for free. Second time I ordered horchata and it was a huge glass and very good. Have not tried any other Mexican restaurants in the area because I enjoyed this one enough. Service was great, food was authentic. I recommend.

Great food and authentic atmosphere. #55 Ceviche on tostada shells is Becky’s favorite. Anything chorizo is fantastic to me and reminds me of my old crew chief SPC Peru’s eggs on first up. Great service with a genuine smile for customers.

We were in this shopping center, picking up some things from the pet store, when we decided we wanted to check out the little taco truck the next block over. Only something caught my eye on the signage outside of La Leyenda when we drove by, so we decided to eat there instead(without checking Unilocal first, I might add). The chips and salsa were pretty standard, nothing special, but the guacamole was obviously fresh and very tasty. My husband ordered the vegetable quesadilla(which I had half of), and his only complaint was that the vegetables were grilled prior to assembly. This isn’t to say that the dish wasn’t good because it was, but perhaps it would have been nice if the vegetables had been cooked a little less and were actually recognizable. I went with the shrimp with Mexican rice, and it was a lovely looking plate. The rice had great flavor, and the shrimp and broccoli were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The cheese on the plate was actually cheese, used sparingly and not that weird cheese sauce which so many mediocre Mexican places often use in excess. The interior is pretty dated and the menu is overwhelmingly large, but both the service and food were great!

I’ve never had a bad meal there yet. my favorite is the Jalapeño Steak which was the Friday special. However, most of the time I just ask the owner to surprise me and he usually gets me something that’s not even on the menu but it’s always great.

I used to LOVE this place, but it has definitely started declining. The salsa tastes more like marinara sauce and the server that I’ve had the past few times is pretty rude. I MIGHT try it again in the future to see if it has improved, but I doubt it.

First of all, I could have just eaten the chips and salsa all day. Someone please bring a bucket of the salsa to my house! The food was good but beware the chalupa is cheese and more cheese with some good meat… And more cheese. All around I was pretty impressed compared to what else Enterprise has to offer.

I eat here at least once a week, sometimes 3 – 4 times a week. For the price, it can’t be beat in Enterprise.

This is by far the best Mexican food in LA! I have only eaten at the Eprise location but have heard the Daleville store is even better. Service can be iffy but the food is always awesome.

This is my sisters’ new favorite Mexican restaurant, and since I’m visiting for Christmas, we decided to go here for lunch. I ordered the lunch special #5, which was a burrito with rice and beans. I was a bit disappointed in the burrito, as it didn’t really have much flavor, and there seemed to be some sort of aftertaste that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. The salsa was nice and chunky and tasted good, and the chips were hot when first brought to the table. It seemed that they cooled rather quickly, though. Because my sisters highly recommended it, though, I would give this place another chance on my next visit, perhaps. It was the lunch hour and service was friendly, but a little slow. Overall, I could only muster two stars for this visit.

They don’t know how to make a burrito. Last time(yes, we gave them two tries!), I thought the waitress led me astray; this time I realized they just don’t know what they are doing… won’t be trying this again! Disappointing…makes me miss Cali even more!
