Wow the food is bad… probably the worst burger I have ever had. The fries were cold… All 7 of us had horrible meals… Service was ‘pretty okay’ Get realllllll close and personal with the other person in the women’s room going to the bathroom.: check it out; you’ll know what I mean

Had the ¼lb tavern burger with blue cheese and grilled onions. My friend had the chicken burger. Both were amazing and a full meal. Friendly service and they were fairly fast at serving/preparing food. The only 2 reasons they didn’t get a 5 was because the French fries were not crisp and were obviously the frozen costco kind, and the napkin thickness was definitely lacking. But would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

Stopped here for dinner after a long day of driving around. The staff was quick and friendly. I got the cheeseburger and my girlfriend got the fish and chips, they were both excellent, and the portions were big enough to fill you up without having a bunch of leftovers. The atmosphere in the tavern is very warm and friendly. The tavern would be an awesome sight in the winter.

This place is hot as hell when the weather is warm outside. The stuff is very rude and not helpful at all. Really loud even during the afternoon. The portions are big but the food is sub par, both in taste and quality. Their fortune is to be the only bar/restaurant in Greenwater, where the closest town is 30 miles away…

Was rained out camping Monday night and needed a dry place with food and drink. Naches fit the bill perfectly, good food and craft beers reasonably priced fit the bill. Saw the horseshoe pits a definite plus. The couch in front of the fireplace was the bomb, was able to get the chill out of my bones. Emma was a great hostess that treated both locals and drop-ins like my friend and I with care and respect. Will definitely stop in the next time I am near.

Heading back to Seattle after a drive up into the foothills and we needed lunch. This place popped up on a google search and had good reviews so we decided to try it. It’s not fancy and the outdoors area is demarcated by a rent-a-fence and has a gravel floor, so to speak! Plus a sign on the gate specifying it as «family seating». The building itself is rustic with a hodge podge of furniture and decorations. It’s not trying to be fancy. In fact, it don’t care if you care. It is what it is, take it or leave it! It’s clearly popular with the weekend bikers as well as catching the drive by traffic. So, is it worth it? Yes, in my opinion it is. The servers are pleasant and do the rounds regularly. Drinks are replenished before the dregs have a chance to mix with the melted ice. Seriously. They have a basic menu — burgers, sandwiches, salads, and pizza — and drinks. We had burgers and pizza. I have to say the BOR burger is damn good. Bleu cheese, grilled mushrooms, and bacon add layers of flavour I didn’t expect. My husband shared the supreme pizza with the youngest and declared it very fresh and tasty. And not horribly greasy either. The older kids both had the basic tavern burger and devoured them. The fries were crispy on the outside, soft in the centre, and yummy. Although we didn’t utilise it, they have games available too. The kids at another table kept bringing out tons and boxes and playing while waiting. Brilliant move. It wasn’t pricey. The food was good and served hot. Not too long a wait. Definitely worth stopping at if in the area.

Stumbled upon this nice place on a recent road trip. I was immediately impressed by the«old log cabin» style roadhouse look. Inside I was amazed by the older style character of the décor, as well as the big stone Fireplace in the dining room. We were greeted by the bartender and a server and felt welcome. After a beer and appetizers we looked around the place and will make this a favorite stop when on motorcycle or car trips on SR410 and mountain visits. Good Job!

Love this place! A tradition every time we are heading home from skiing or hiking. Yes it has dirt. Its a old loggers bar. If you can’t handle it don’t go.

Great divey roadhouse bar. Food and service are fine, not awesome but not bad either. What do you expect from a bar like this? It has character, that’s why I love it. If the poor sheltered people writing bad reviews don’t like it, go to Applebees where you belong. Stop here in the winter months and sit at the couch in front of the fire and drink beers. In the summer, hang outside for a great roadside lunch in the breezy mountain air.

Just finished eating a good hamburger dinner there. Pros: easy to find, includes both a bar area and a family area, reasonably priced, service and food was good. My husband and I both had hamburgers and added a basket of fries. Food came quickly and was good. Menu seemed to have a good selection on sandwiches. Seating included space at the bar and booths, also looked like there was seating outside but since it was raining while we there we didn’t check it out. Cons: Its both a restaurant and a bar.

Seriously people! This place was clear example of a dump, the bartender was rude and disrespectful 5 seconds after Henry I walked into the establishment. We were trying to locate where we could sit, and the bartender yelled at us both that she will be with us… sit wherever you can find a place. Their motto is that«We Serve Good Food Here!» If that is the case, dump the blonde bartenders working, and find someone with a little less attitude. Otherwise, we will never recommend this place.

After a fun day up at Mt. Rainier, my wife and I decided to stop in here for a cold beer on the way home. We took a seat at a table in the bar, were acknowledged wirh eye contact from a couple of servers, but after 15 minutes, no one waited on us. We just got up and left.

We drove through the rain for a family dinner at Naches. We had to sit separately because of the lack of big or movable tables. Our booths we’re comfy though. I got the Cobb salad, and boyfriend got a chili burger. The salad was decent. I liked that it had avocado. I didn’t think it was quite worth the $ 12 or $ 13 they were charging for it, however. The chili burger was drowned in chili and impossible to eat without a knife and fork. There was a patty on either side of the the bun, but they were thin and well done(we noticed our waiter didn’t ask how we wanted them done.) The general consensus was that the burgers(and the service) was just alright. Decent, but not outstanding. We did enjoy our Moose Drool beer, however. This tavern seems to cater to a local crowd, but we did feel at home. I did also love the chalk to write on the bathroom wall!

Love stopping here on the way down from a day of snowboarding. Great atmosphere and decent food. The older bartender lady is always rude to anyone that’s not a «usual» at the bar… order from Matt he’s great, quick, and very friendly!

Classic roadhouse grill — one of the last around! Great ambience here, with a lot of local logging memorabilia displayed. Good food, and decent tap selection. The outdoor seating is a plus! Only drawback is the limited parking & the prices are a bit high. However, this is a top quality place to stop after a day on the trails or the slopes!

This is a great place to grab a beer or some grub after a day out on the mountain! PROS: 1. Super friendly bartenders and wait staff. Smiling. Laughing. Telling jokes. Attentive. 2. Cozy back room with a huge fireplace, couch, books, etc. Rustic and intimate. 3. Not too crowded. 4. Food and drink are average. Good fries. Yummy Bailey’s hot chocolate! CONS: 1. Kinda divey, but that’s what I expected. 2. Fries took awhile to come out. 3. Only one bathroom.

As tourists, this is the best dive bar we’ve been to during our trip to Washington. The people were so friendly and the food was awesome!
