Good food with reasonable prices. The only complaint I have is the sushi chef was running around picking/moving stuff around at the sushi bar and in the kitchen wearing the same pair of gloves and then turned around to make sushi without donning a new pair!!! I sat at the bar and watched him for a good 45 minutes while he multitasked with picking stuff off from the floor, touching handles and other items in the kitchen — same items the kitchen staff touched without wearing their gloves. He pretty much touched everything from the bar to his kitchen included a dozen or more of the frozen bags of fish. I will not come back.

Absolutely horrible service by the owner. She will argue with you about everything if your order was not done the way you ordered it. She will not remake the good correctly either. The portion sizes are so small but you pay an outrageous price. I will never go back and either will most of my family due to the owners and customer service.

Great sushi. We had the griffin the spicy & spicy and the rainbow roll as well as some miso soup. We were very satisfied with the quality and service. We will definitely be back.

Where’s the beef? Skimpiest phở meat portions I have ever seen. And I ordered a large. Combined with the owners bad attitude when responding to complaints, and lack of knowledge by one of a dozen girls working the front counter(no joke), I would not recommmend this place. It is packed because the small town of Enumclaw has very few options.

The sushi is delicious, but the service can be a bit slow. The restaurant is cute, but small. I love that they have separate rooms for a group where you sit on the floor and can have authentic dining where you eat on the floor, it’s super unique and it’s nice that there’s a place like this in Enumclaw!

I didn’t expect much when I went in because who eats sushi in Enumclaw? But when I stepped into the doors of Oshio, I felt as if I was in a 5 star sushi restraunt in Seattle. The waiter was professional and kind, the food came out at a perfect time, not too quick and not too long, and when the food did come out, I was truly impressed. The way they displayed the rolls and sashimi were beyond any of my expectations and when I had that first bite I was in a different world. Truly spectacular. I didn’t even have enough time to Instagram or snapchat my food because it was so glorious. The sushi is so fresh and the rolls are actually filling unlike Tr*ppers or Bl*e Isl*nd. I tried the teriyaki place right next door and they are amazing too. Check them out!

One star only because i have too. Business owner is very unprofessional in the way they treat their employees. Its a shame that they dont treat them with the same respect as they do their customers. Sushi is always good but professionalism and poise go a long way, so hopefully things will change. Wont be reccomending this place to anyone.

My wife and I first had sushi at Trappers in Bonney lake, we fell in love with the rolls. We recently went to Oshio restaurant, and had the special, three rolls for $ 23.99. It was awesome, I think k it rates right up there with Trappers, or even better. It is clean, not to noisy or hectic, and a great atmosphere. It is our new go-to place.

way better than trappers by a long shot. worth the drive, fresh, fresh, fresh. great menu with lots of choices, sushi, soups, salads, teriyaki, unagi(awesome). its small, but more than able to accomodate a group of 6, with a great turn around time and friendly staff. everything made on the menu is made well, whichnis why I love coming here as often as I can.

I will continue going here. I love sushi — and I love how convenient it is. Imagine Blue C, Trappers etc., this place is JUST as good! Tasty and great prices too. I also sometimes get some to-go and pick it up on my lunch break :)

I absolutely love this place! It’s so nice to have something just a few minutes away from my house! I love Trappers, Blue C, and Mizu’s and I love Oshio’s just as much! The inside is beautiful! The food is fresh and amazing! Service is great! I come here at LEAST once a month if not once a week. I LOVEOSHIOSUSHI!

This place is better-than-expected consistently. Food is excellent and artfully plated, service is prompt and transparent, atmosphere is a departure from the rest of Enumclaws eateries. And it’s quiet. I have visited many times with friends and family and have never been disappointed. Sit at the sushi bar!

I ate here today after a long day of snowboarding at Crystal and, I must say, this could be the best sushi I’ve ever had! Everything was super fresh and the presentation was top notch. The«Hot Night» roll is amazing. It arrives on fire and it could be the most delicious thing I’ve eaten in my life. My only complaint is that I live in Redmond and this place is too far for me to frequent on a regular basis. That said, I’ll be coming here every time I go snowboarding down south!

Started driving to Enumclaw, and the further away we got from the city, the lower my expectation of Oshio became, but when we got there, I was very pleasantly surprised. Small town but big city quality sushi. I kept thinking that if this place was open in LA on 3rd and La Cienaga it would keep up with the big boys.

Very pleasently suprised by this little place. You see sushi in Enumclaw and you kind of have to look twice, the second look was worth it though. I came in for luch and I was just about the only person in the place, I hear they are normally quite busy for dinner. The sushi here can hold its ground with any of the best sushi places around the sound, its fresh and flavorful. The staff is equally impressive. I’ve been in a couple times now and sitting up at the sushi bar you will get free samples from time to time. I’ve had good converstaions with one of the waitresses that has just made for a very pleasent experience. Bottom line is don’t overlook this place just because it is sushi in Enumclaw, it’s made it’s way onto my favorites list!

Oshio Sushi is absolutely my favorite place to eat in the area. Johnny(Young-Jin) is a fantastic chef. His plates are both delicious and beautiful. He is an artist; a food ninja and I have never left oshio feeling lees than completely satisfied.

OK, read the review from the Federal Way visitor, and I have to take issue with some of the comments. First off, they are the only Sushi place within 20 minutes of Enumclaw, so we are lucky to have them in town. Secondly, their pricing is fair and similar or less than the prices of nearby other sushi places(like Trappers in Bonney Lake or Mizu in Covington). Finally, the quality of product is as good as Trappers or Mizu. Don’t get be wrong, I also love Trappers & Mizu, we just love we have a place local we can hop into on short notice. Confusing Oshio Sushi with Oshio Teriyaki is like comparing a Chevy Metro and a Cadillac. Both are owned by the same ownership, but they are different products. Oshio Sushi has a wonderful sushi bar, a few tables out front(well serviced), and a private dining room(perfect for small parties & celebrations.) We’ve tried around 20 of the various specialty rolls — all are good. The real test of sushi place is the RICE(that’s what Sushi means), and the FISH. On both these counts, the guys here have it done right. The rice is never stale, dry, or overly starched /sticky. The fish is always fresh. So, I can spend an hour, $ 15 in gas, plus parking, driving to Seattle or Bellevue or Tacoma to a big city sushi bar, spend more on each roll or nigiri, and get something comparable, OR… I can come to Oshio get the same quality, fair prices, and wonderful service. On a school night with the kids, no question what I’m doing.

So delicious! Such a great addition to the Enumclaw restaurant scene. I was in town visiting from New York, and was so excited to check out the place after my friend’s recommendation. We reserved one of the back rooms(so cool!) and got our grub on. I ordered their gyozo and Enumclaw roll and it was truly fantastic and I’m pretty picky when it comes to sushi. I was really surprised at how wonderful the food and service was. I grew up on Oshio’s terriyaki, and will be happy to add Oshio Sushi into my places to eat at when I’m in town. Definitely something different and more upscale for the town.
