This is my boyfriend and I’s favorite bar to go to. It might be out there a ways, as most things in Enumclaw are, but it is always a god time. Thursday nights are Thunder Thursdays, so it is geared more towards the bikers, but everyone is still welcome and they give you a raffle ticket for the bike they have right at the front door. This tends to be a lower key night and the food is great. Friday and Saturday nights are always crazy busy! The drinks are great, my favorite drink is a Porn Star and a lot of people have no idea how to make it, however here they are always amazing. The DJ’s have been there for a long time so they really know what gets people out on the dance floor and having a good time. It is a mix of music too, rock, country, pop, «oldies» ect. They are also super friendly and always up for song requests. They also put girls up on the bar around 11 or midnight. Just for one song any girl who wants to is welcome to climb up on the bar and dance. The bouncers are right there helping you up and down and will NOT let anyone touch you if you are up there. One of the bartenders is an owner and is always there making the best drinks and the other owner is there all the time. He is super nice and always says hi to us when we come by. The rest of the waitstaff is amazing as well. They know their«regulars» and almost always remember their drink of choice and most of them have been their for quite a while and know whats up. Saturday nights and sometimes Friday’s they have a Hot Dog guy, his name is KJ and these are some of the best hot dogs. He makes them Seattle style with cream cheese, grilled onions, and BACON! He does only take cash, but it is super worth it. They have fire pit put back that as long as you are not crazy with the fire you are more than welcome to build a fire in, which I love! Everyone is always super friendly and really cares about the patrons of their bar. Hope to see you There!

This bar is so fun, it has been burnt down a number of times but it always gets rebuilt! Always a active lovely bar, the atmosphere is definitely a western/cowboy bar feel. But everyone is pretty welcoming and friendly. Friday’s and Saturdays are packed!!! They have a awesome outdoor area out back with a fire pit and a number of games and plenty of sitting area. BEWARE… The guy bartender told my two friends if they don’t leave their tab open then he’ll charge them 2 dollars every time they close out. First off I’ve never heard of that before, and how and why would you charge someone to close their own tab?! Then not two days later my same two friends had credit card fraud so that bartender definitely stole their credit card information(he charged over $ 300 worth of retail purchases on both cards). I used a different bartender and had no problems at all. This place is fun, but BEWARE and I’d highly recommend paying in cash!!!

Went to try the deep fried pork chop, OMG it was the best meal I’ve had in a restraunt in a long, long time. The meal was 2 pork chops, mashed potatoes, dressing, corn and gravey. It’s was the special and trust me worth every dime. Tuesday is Prime Rib and that is also a meal to die for!!! We can’t wait until Sunday we are going to try out their breaksfast :)

Went at the recommendation of a friend because it’s local and beats going all the way up to Seattle. Drinks. Drinks were good and the prices were fair. Music. Music was pretty good, DJ knew what’s up. Environment. Total sleaze balls everywhere. Guys grinding with each other trying to be funny. Douche bags trying to hit on your girl the second you turn away. Conclusion. Find another place to go that is more middle of the road.

Extremely RUDE doorman about age 45 – 50. Came up to our car and Told us to stop drinking water because he could get in trouble by the cops and so could we. We didn’t even get a chance to step out of car before he barged up to us. Needless to say, we left because of him. I’m sure we didn’t miss much. Looked like a dive… including the old doorman.

I’ve been here a couple times. It’s pretty good most of the time, and the bartenders are super friendly. Sometimes people can get a little loud and annoying. But overall it’s a good place to go kick it and relax with friends

This place definitely made me a fan! What I don’t understand is that the ratio between being a fan and never wanting to come back in my group of 12 was a good: 3 of us loved it and 9 people told me that they never wanted to come back ever again.. . but we all had the same experiences and had fun together. That being said, I am a Unilocaler so you get to hear my side of the story. I don’t live anywhere close this establishment so I was excited to try a new bar out. When I arrived with some friends, there was a UFC fight going on and the place was packed! The service did not lack though. It seems that they are experienced to handle a crowd and I appreciated that. They also had a great layout for everyone to be able to fit into that place and still see the many various TV’s that they have placed all over. That told me that they knew how to host sports. The outside of the place smells like fresh cow. But you’re in Enumclaw! How awesome is that?! Pure authenticity in the area. Don’t let that effect you since the inside doesn’t smell that strong. The bar also has outside seating which is very large and some games to play while you’re out in the boonies! Fun isn’t it?! The music is very various so everyone has a chance to dance. Not just only country music. I observed many people who did not know each other just ask to dance and if you don’t know how, they will show you. Finding a friendly crowd is difficult to find. . especially in the city(FYI). Also, there is an older gentleman that really knows his 2 step. That adds to the atmosphere and entertainment to the bar. In the middle of the night, the DJ gets creative and has a CowGirls/Coyote Ugly kind of thing going with girls on the bar. I included a picture of that so you can see the fun in the place. Well, those were the reasons and my observations as to why I find this establishment fun and why I am a fan. Hope your experience is just as great.

Looks like this hidden gem needs an updated review! I’m not a local, not even close, but I am a regular. I make the drive not for the drinks, food or good music — just a great atmosphere. Bartenders, bouncers, DJ are all friendly as heck. Now remember despite things like the location, demographics, name, looks, trucks out front, horse shoes out back and even cowboy hats everywhere: this is NOT a country bar. But it can be by request! They do play a lot of hip hop. On the weekends especially it kind of has a night club feel that can totally get slammed with a line out the door with a decent sized dance floor. Weird I know, but I love it. Now, on some nights if you’re familiar with the Pioneer Square night scene then you know the Seattle dog guy. HESTHERE!!! Best hot dogs. Grills out back on the patio. Speaking of, you can’t talk about this place without talking about the back patio, many covered picnic tables to chill out at. One ping pong table, pool table is inside, and HORSESHOES!!! Yeah, I’m from the city, horse shoes are fun to play. If you’re looking to wreck the town and you’re in the area this place is the place to be.

Can someone explain to me why racist hicks love to dance to top 40 rap? White girls trying to grind each other, grabbing their boobs and doin the«butt clap». dead serious– ill never be the same after that sight. blah, never again. The staff is nice though, my boyfriend said that’s the first time ever in his life that a waitress has questioned why he wasn’t drinking. It was strange.

Great place to ride to for a quick beer, but be patient if you’re planning on eating. 10 of us arrived for lunch at 12:15, we got drinks right away, I had to go inside to get menu’s, ordered lunch about 12:45(typical bar fare), was served at 1:30. Maybe 19 total customers in the place, including our 10. Quality of the food was OK, value pretty good, just not a good overall experience. But I’ll give it another go just in case they had a bad day. After all, it is a great ride!

Honestly, I wouldn’t have even *thought* to come here if I hadn’t heard about it through friends. I know a lot of people are probably thinking, «…really???» since its location is in ‘The Claw’, but ya know, if you venture out here on a Friday/Saturday night, it’s a lot of fun! They play a lot of current music, there’s always people there(it seems to me) and drinks are decent. I’ve only come out here a small handfull of times for birthday celebrations, so I can only rate the nightlife which is pretty fun. I gave it one less star *only* because of its location. I wouldn’t drive out to The Beak on a random Saturday night trying to find something to do, but that’s just me. It is a fun place to go to though when the occassion comes around.

I will start out with a disclaimer: No I am not from«The Claw» but I have family that does live there; so, I’ve ventured to the Yella Beak Saloon on multiple occasions. Things I really love about«The Beak» are the fact that it’s a local hangout/bar/dance club on the weekends for people who live nearby and people who come from far away. I’ve been going to the Beak now for a few years and I have to say that I’ve never had a bad experience. The drinks are cheap, the DJ’s are pretty good, the people are fun, and it’s an all around cool place to be. So if you’re ever in ‘The Claw’ and are interested in a good time, stop by The Yella Beak! I’m sure you’ll have a grand old time!

Enumclaw… i’d be willing to bet if you went around seattle and asked folks if they’d be interested in kickin it in Enumclaw… 40% would give you a «WTF? what’s in enumclaw» 20% would give you a «hell no. enumclaw?» and the last 19% would say«what the heck is enumclaw?» i was that last 1% with the response«am i gonna be the only asian in enumclaw?» just to make sure i wasn’t — i called my buddy ryan(chinese guy) to come along with me to meet my girlfriend(korean/mexican) to ensure that there was atleast 2 and a ½ asians there. as we took the road less-travelled thru auburn, out past muckleshoot casino… ryan and i knew we were in bum-f*ck-no where when the smell of cow manure started to seep into my car. street lights became sparse, houses became 2 miles apart and there was no more stop lights. about 10 — 15 mins past since we saw the last stop light and long and behold… the Yella Beak Saloon and its bright lit sign on the side of the highway. chalk full of cars, trucks, motorcycles. literally right in the middle of no where. as we pulled into the gravel parking lot we were a bit weary but decided we’ve gone too far not to go inside. to my suprise — the place was packed full of people. hip hop music blasting, groups of people cheersing, people on the small dance floor gettin down, the bar was packed with girls dancing on the bar like it was coyote ugly. suprisingly lively. not suprisingly — we were the only asians there. there was a couple token black folks, a few rancheros, and the rest… well its enumclaw. there was a small coin op pool table in one corner, and a small hallway where the bathrooms are that leads out to the outdoor patio were more people were out smoking and drinking and having a good time. drinks were fairly priced but it takes forever to get a drink as there is only one bar trying to keep up with 300 demands. the table arrangements were a bit packed so we kept getting bumped into. but everyone there was having a grand ol’ time. there were a few hip hop breaks where the DJ spun a few country hits. but all in all — good fun experience. i can’t honestly say its my new favorite hotspot cuz its so far out there. but definitely wouldn’t be my last time out.

This is your basic bar with a greasy spoon. The theme is more on the country side of things but on the Saturday night i went they were playing a mix of hip-hop and just lots of stuff. There is an ecclectic mix of people who come to this place, the youngest person was probably 21, the oldest maybe 65+ LOL, it was funny. I came here once for lunch. The portion sizes are big and the food is decent. Service was quick and I feel like our waitress went out of her way to make sure our experience was great.

This place is great! Drinks are always good and the price is fare. It always has a good crowd and never seen any drama or bad vibes in this place. It can get pretty crowded but not in a bad way. The music is always awesome! Mixture between country, rock and hip/hop. Dance floor is small but still fun to dance! They also have a pool table and out in back horse shoe and fire pit. It is out in the middle of nowhere but kinda like it because traffic is never a problem! Try it out and if you grew up in the area you might see a few faces you know!

Best bar in Washington? More like, «Best bar to ride your horse to.» This really wasn’t my scene. Didn’t know wearing designer t-shirt and jeans with clean shoes would be considered overdressed. I’d have given the place 1 star, but after arriving I discovered they had Jack Daniels Single Barrel whiskey(blended like scotch) and it made the night tolerable. I’ll stick to going out in Seattle or Bellevue.

I’m not sure why this was voted«trendiest bar in Washington» but I guess it’s all personal preference. I went here for a friends birthday who wanted to check it out. Whew it was CROWDED! The main room was packed with people and so was the back patio(good thing it was warm or I don’t know if we would have all fit inside) The crowd was nice, mostly young college kids just hanging out and dancing. The dance floor was kind of a bummer, just a little square in the corner of the room. The bartenders were really fast and the drinks I had were good!(Example of prices, Long Island Iced Tea for $ 6) Overall I’m not sure it was worth the trip(Enumclaw!!) But I did like the crowd and I had good drinks which was much needed: P

Who wouldn’t want to go to the best bar in Washington voted by people magazine? The bar is an interesting mix of people. Very interesting mix but fun. They play the popular songs mixed with country and even have girls dancing on the bar. How much better could it get. Outside they have a bunch of different games you can play and a huge smoking area that is fully covered. I hear they even have a mechanical bull in the summer… just rumor I hear. Anyway its good times and you will always have fun.
