Old school breakfast/lunch. Greeted the moment we walked in the door. Quickly attended to. Favorite to the locals. Liked that you could order lunch at breakfast. Had a ham and cheese hoagie. Delicious! Will definitely stop next time we travel through!

I love this place. Best place in town. Just wish they were open Sunday, Monday, and evenings.

My brother and were driving through Ephrata on our way up to the Coulée on a Saturday morning and holy hashbrowns this place was open! We wheeled in for a hearty breakfast and it was excellent. Great diner food, 1960s or 70s small town diner décor, and affordable small town diner prices.

I had to come through Ephrata for work and was hungry as a hostage, so we stopped here because it was open before lunch and we had to get back on the road by 11am. They Serve a pretty decent hamburger for cheap but the magic is in the fries. MMM mmmm. I also would like to mention that whatever you order you will get enough to eat the omelet was egg beaters I think, well at least it looked like it, but it was huge. I am not a fan of the home fries so I got regular fries. This place is with out a doubt a greasy spoon, and you will like it. Just don’t ask to use the bathroom. LOL Man its like a single closet stuck to the back of the building, actually use the bathroom because you will be amazed to see how they fit so much plumbing in such a small room. The bathroom will most likely be a huge issue in the cold months of Winter.

They’re back! After sitting idle for years, Barb & Ed’s is back in business, with Ed back behind the grill. It’s a new look and feel for the place, but the same good food and friendly service remains. It’s nice to have them back!
