This is for Martin Appliance and is an update. We finally came to terms on the stove and it is now installed in my kitchen. While I did pay more than the quoted price, Martins did work with me until we both were satisfied. I do appreciate the contacts and the negotiations and for them caring about their customers. Many thanks.

I wish i could give this place no stars. Whatever you do, dont take anything here to be fixed. I took my AC window unit to be cleaned, after 2 weeks, i received a call asking if a part had been broken when it was dropped off-it wasnt. They said they would fix it. I called every week for almost a month waiting for the part to come in. Finally, they said to come get it in the meantime while we were waiting-since it was HOT, duh. When we picked it up, it was not only not cleaned(it was still moldy) it was so loud, I thought a jet was landing, and the other curtain part was still broken, letting bugs in my room. We took it back, AGAIN. We never heard back until almost 2 months(when we had already bought a new one). They offered to refund the $ 35 i paid for cleaning, and that was it, although the curtain part was finally fixed. Obviously, their AC tech dropped our unit and wouldnt confess. No apologies, and a useless unit later, i get measly $ 35 back? Bad techs, bad service. Overall terrible experience. Never again. POSITIVEUPDATE: I wanted to repost that I was immediately contacted the day I posted this review by a store manager(Paul) who went out of his way to rectify this situation, and apologized for the treatment we received. Ultimately, they ended up replacing our AC unit with a new one. I appreciated this manager being so proactive and kind. Apparently, there is still good customer service out there, it’s just unfortunate that the people we dealt w originally didn’t seem to feel the same way. Nevertheless, I don’t think I would go to the Ephrata store again, but would possibly visit Paul’s store to purchase a new item in Brownstown. I’m upgrading to 2 stars, and leaving my original review, as I believe it is still relevant.

I recently needed some help fixing up my Grandmother’s house on Holly Street near the Philadelphia Zoo. One issue was with her water pump. Martin Water Conditioning replaced the same day it failed and she had water again in 12 hours. She said that she was amazed that such an extensive job could be done on the same day. The representative we worked with made sure to see that we had water again before the day was done. He was a complete professional throughout the work and made sure that we understood what had happened and what he had done to fix it. Thank you again for the fine work.
