This place is freaking classic… probably the best breakfast you’ll get in Ephrata, and I’ve lived here since I was 5(20 years).

When we first came in it took my group of 16 a while to be seated which is kinda expected, because we had 16 people. Once we were seated, they immediately asked for our drinks, quite aggressively some might say. When we got our drinks, the waitress asked what we wanted to eat. Chris was up first, and being hungry, he asked for the cheeseburger. Little did Chris know he was going to get shot down with the response«the cheeseburger is not available at this time» This deeply offended Chris. All Chris wanted was a cheeseburger. So the waitress skipped Chris and I was up. I also would have enjoyed a cheeseburger, but hearing the bad news i settled for a pancake breakfast with eggs and bacon. The pancakes were extremely easy to cut and very tasteful, the bacon was nice and crispy, but oh my lord the eggs. These eggs were politely asked to be cooked over medium, but they just near hard boiled them. Lucky for them I enjoy a hard boiled egg so I dealt with it. But as I said, my group was 16 people strong, so we had a vast variety of selection. I had a little of the home fries, which were good if you enjoy scallop potatoes, I had a taste of the cream beef, which was basically chopped corn beef with gravy on it, served over toast, which was pretty good. The prices were very fair, nothing clearly over priced and the menu was simple to read. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. The décor was a little old-timey, but they were playing nice music. While enjoying my over cooked eggs and extremely easy to cut pancakes, I noticed a little flyer on the table, and after reading the story about Clementine, a dog that was found wandering the streets of Philadelphia, looking for food, shelter, and love. Clementine was also suffering from phenomena, which I wasn’t entirely sure dogs could get phenomena, but apparently they can. So the vet bills racked up to 6000 dollars! So in order to help out Clementine, the Pancake Farm decided to hold a raffle, in which 1 ticket was 1 dollar, 8 tickets were 5 dollars, and 20 tickets were 10 dollars. The winner of the raffle won a large stuffed dog and a 100 dollar gift certificate to Toys R’ Us. I thought this was incredibly nice but since I do not care for said stuffed dog, I did not participate in said raffle. But it was a nice gesture. Nice people. But be warned, if you are planning on eating at the Pancake Farm, they don’t cry over spilled milk.

Excellent service and fair prices. My wife and I visited the Pancake Farm for the first time this past Tuesday and had a wonderful breakfast. Then this past Saturday had an opportunity to take a wheelchair-bound friend who hasn’t been out of her home for two years out to eat breakfast. The staff quickly prepared the wheelchair ramp, and made easy accommodations to make this a wonderful treat. I strongly recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting a good meal for a fair price with fantastic service.

So if you know Ephrata then you know the pancake farm. This is a HOT spot for breakfast. It does get busy so if you are in a hurry i would recommend cancelling your plans because this place is worth it. Love all their food and never had any bad experience there. They also have certain days where they donate part of the proceeds to animal rescue places, which i think is pretty cool. Prices are really good and fair.

Great little place that has good food and a cozy atmosphere. Expect to wait a while for a seat on the weekend, and note that they don’t accept credit/debit. They have fun selections on pancakes and their coffee is pretty good. I can’t weigh in on their lunch, since I’ve only been for breakfast, but most locals say their lunch is good too. Most times you’ll be met by a friendly face.

Authentic Lancaster County breakfast place. Homey and what a pancake place should be like. I built my own omelette and the mushrooms were freshly grilled to perfection. My partner in crime ordered blueberry pancakes and they were big fluffy discs of deliciousness. The coffee was super and the best part was the service! I will be back.

After struggling to make it here at a time when they were actually open, my mom and I eventually planned ahead and made it! Anticipation had set my expectations a little higher than it ought to have, but all in all we enjoyed our breakfast. My mom seems to recall a time when they had fancier pancake creations though the ones we had were tasty enough and very inexpensive. Simply put: if you want flair go to IHOP, but if you just want pancakes this farm’ll do ya. Aside from their obscure hours, they also stick out for a great deal of charitable and promotional work. They stand strong for animal rights and other great causes. It’s really a good spot for breakfast(if you can catch them while they are open). I am glad to say I have finally made it and some day I’ll make it there again. *Be mindful that they are cash or check only…

I love this place! I’ve grown up going here and not much has changed! The food is always served very hot and fresh! The atmosphere is so fun and they sure hustle! I’m always trying something new on the menu whether it be french toast with ripe berries or eggs benedictit, it’s amazing! There’s usually a wait, defineltly on the weekends but no one minds waiting for great food, right? DEFINETLY a 5 star!

Not a whole lot to say really. I’ve been coming here since sleep overs at grandma’s. Everything is great with a good variety of pancakes and waffles and the best scrapple I’ve ever had. My only complaint is its very tiny and because of that there is usually a wait. But it’s breakfast and it’s not to long. This is the place to come for a full Lancaster County style breakfast

The best. Great food. Great service. There is normally a wait, but it’s worth it. They are huge supporters of A Tail to Tell Rescue against puppy mills. that in itself makes this a great place.

ok here we go. The food is good. With a name like Pancake Farm it should be. And I suppose the sign of a good restaurant is a wait. And maybe in this instant gratification day and age I’m simply impatient . I have stopped there solo and breezed right up to their counter, ordered pancakes and bacon, quick service. good food . I take my daughter today, Friday before Easter on a RARE day off. Its still cold and the wind is pretty stiff .9 am . Hostess says ok takes my name. I give her my first name. DONTDOTHIS. provide them with a unique name and prepare to wait . After a half hour of standing out in the cold with my daughter shivering looking at the one bench their cheap asses have in front waitress calls my name. We enter and as we are being seated the woman says«Oh we were calling the OTHER party by your name …» So I look into her big stupid vacant eyes and say after waiting the better part of an hour for a few pancakes we were simply looking for a couple counter seats and now you are asking us to go back into the cold and wait some more. The other party by my name says its ok they will wait . They are superheroes and I thank them . Because these friggin idiot Ephrata inbred dildoes only know one thing: How to make $. They fully understand the cache of a non corporate chain eatery with a cute name and hearty eats. And so you are a $ to them walking in . So I sit and eat and its awkward and delicious . I leave a nice tip for the server and politely leave and I’ll never go back . The world sure don’t revolve around me and I’m not making any type of threat . But if the Pancake Farm hadnt seated me this morning I would have left and taken every other customer with me .YOULISTENINGPANCAKE F’INGFARM? BECAUSE I’LLDROPTROUSERSANDTURDUPYOURLITTLE«FARM» LIKEANANGRYBULLWITHCOLITIS. Thank your god in heaven that the other patrons were so nice . And remember that its not my job to distinguish between the waiting hungry cold diners. Its friggin YOURS.

The food was decent as were the portions. Only issue was the size of the restaurant. There should be at least 1⁄3 less tables for the size of the space. Customers comfort Is obviously not a concern here. Seems like an assembly line operation. Once the check comes the service stops.

Drove by this place and thought, with a name like that, those must be some incredible pancakes. Guess what. I was right. I had the apple cinnamon pancakes, boyfriend had cinnamon raisin and they were probably the best pancakes I’ve had in recent memory. Can’t wait to go back and try all the other varieties. Definitely caters to an older crowd, the servers seemed to know everyone by name. I can’t wait to be a regular. «Which pancakes are you gonna try today, Sara? Warm peach? Comin right up!» They have really good coffee too, which surprised me. I was expecting blah diner coffee but they brew Lancaster County Coffee Roasters. An added bonus is that they HEAVILY support A Tail to Tell dog rescue and as a dog lover, I really appreciated that.

My tumultuous relationship with the Pancake Farm stems from an incident involving a cup of tea that I never received, but was forced to pay for. I’ve reluctantly gone back a few times because friends refuse to go elsewhere. I mourn the time I’ve wasted waiting to be subjected to rude service. The food is OK and affordable, but, let’s be real, it’s hard to screw up breakfast. Cheap, yes, but you can do so much better.

I ate breakfast here on a Saturday morning and really didn’t like the sardine effect. And I had to question a few times if the fire code was in violation. The service was okay and the food was okay. Nothing that I would return for. It’s not a bad place, just not my cup of tea. This seems like a down home place that people have been going to for some time.

Went here for lunch with a local. This seems primarily a breakfast place and I shoul have taken note of the fact that our local friend ordered off the breakfast menu. My hot turkey sandwich was a couple of slices of turkey on white bread with canned or from-a-mix gravy. No stuffing(or ‘filling’ as they call it there), no cranberry sauce. Sides were a little better: pickled beets that did not seem homemade and a pretty good pepper cabbage. My companion had a fried fish sandwich which was better. The locals’s eggs and potatoes looked pretty good. I had a slice of coconut cream pie for dessert which was very good and the highlight not just of the meal, but of the day. Next time: eggs and pie.

My man and I stayed in Ephrata for a short Lancaster County vacation earlier this month. I’d planned Pancake Farm as our breakfast for the first day, with other local spots for the days after that. Well, other than Sunday when they were closed, we ate at Pancake Farm every day! The food was fresh, fast, and very tasty. The room gets very crowded on a Saturday, and the wait was lengthy, but we still felt comfortable. The service was as good on that busy Saturday as it was on the quiet weekdays. Our filling breakfast was a very affordable under-$ 14 total each time. My man ordered a numbered menu item(2 eggs, potatoes, meat, english muffin). I ordered a la carte, which is always more expensive(2 eggs, potatoes, english muffin and a blueberry or corn muffin). He had tea, I had soda. Actually, I had at least two sodas each time! Finally, the restaurant also supports A Tail to Tell, a local puppy mill rescue group. I bought a bright red hooded sweatshirt with their logo, which I proudly wear as a souvenir of my trip. :)
