The Hertzog Homestead Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I saw a great deal on Living Social and figured why not treat ourselves to a winter get away! When we arrived we were very impressed immediately. The room was beautiful, spotless clean, decorated perfectly and they had every single thing available you could need or want for a weekend away. We enjoyed the jacuzzi outside, privately, surrounded by the snow which was so romantic. They had our prepared breakfast in our room (which needed to be heated in the microwave) with pastries, juices, coffee, tea etc. I would definitely give this establishment 5 stars. The bed was super comfy and the fireplace gave the room a perfect romantic touch. We are excited we have another full day and evening to spend here. We will absolutely be back!!! Thank you Kristen, your hospitality and accommodations are outstanding, I foresee a lot of success at Hertzog!

About to head home after a wonderful, Relaxing and fun weekend. Our stay at Hertzog was amazing. The accommodations were spotlessly clean, well decorated and up to date. Amazing for such a historic building. We highly recommend the Metzler suite. Sitting in our in suite dining area eating fantastic locally sourced breakfast and watching the Amish wagons and carriages go by couldn’t be better. Great shower with spa quality supplies. The owners were very helpful at every turn. The location in the midst of peaceful farm land was quiet. One warning for some of our friends, there is no TV. There is great high speed WiFi, Roku and Pandora. And for those like me that Stream favorite shows over the internet I did not have any difficulties. So if you need or expect TV, don’t be surprised. The B&B location is great. Easy access to many local attractions. I highly recommend a stay here if you are in the area.

We stayed a little over a year ago and had an amazing time. Super clean, peaceful, wonderful family and beautifully decorated. 10 stars!!!
