A few weeks ago, on a Saturday night, I wanted an inexpensive Chinese buffet experience. This place «hit» the nail on the head! Mostly fried items, alot of chicken dishes, one beef and one seafood selection (baby shrimp). I stayed away from the cold shrimp, against the wall. The wonton soup was decent. Staff controls the ice cream. I was served a tiny dish of blueberry lemon ice cream. It was the best part of my meal. You pay for what get, and at under $ 10.00, not including soda, tax, and tip, this was great on my wallet.

Below par. Very small buffet with tired, fried food. Cleanliness in restrooms and hallway was frighteningly poor. Will not be back even though it’s the only one in Ephrata. Go to Panda Garden in New Holland or Dragon in Lancaster.

East Berlin, PA
Went there for lunch. Everything I tried was hot and well made. The one thing I really liked was that the steam tray pans were not over flowing… but had just enough to feed the patrons there so you did not have to worry about food just sitting there for hours. The staff were pleasant and the place looked very clean. When you pay your check you can get a good view of the kitchen so there was no obvious …“oh no” sightings. Is it worth a special trip… na. But if you are already in the area it is a fine place to eat at a fair price.

For as small as this place is, it puts out some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had at a buffet. If they run low on something they’re always quick to replace it as well. Size wise it’s nothing to look at, but the quality of what you get there is something rarely found at a buffet style restaurant.

Dined with friends last pm. Food was scorched, crab Rangoon & spring roll was the exception & was excellent. There were gnats crawling through my friends’ food-​BOTH of their dishes. We pointed it out to the staff, who in turn did nothing. $ 35 later with no apologies from staff & nothing removed from the bill in lieu of the bugs in the food, we left. We will not go back.

I used to work there, so I’m admittedly a little biased on the people. The employees are great, particularly the owners. I’m not sure about the experience of another reviewer, but I’ve never heard anyone complain about sanitary issues. The kitchen’s always really clean, but yes some of the (buffet) food can get pretty dry. Try the Singapore Mai Fun – it was my favorite dish off the menu.
