First time visiting with my Hubby for date night this last Saturday. Called for a reservation and the hostess had a very hard time understanding what I was saying. She seemed flustered and the conversation took much longer than anticipated to make a reservation. When we arrived there was a table ready. Super cute décor– love the old saloon slash country bistro look. Well done all except for the very hard wooden chairs that made our 2 ½ hour stay a little uncomfortable. The Farmer’s Daughter libation was elegant. Not full of sweetener and over powering flavors. I ordered the butternut squash soup with shrimp. The soup was AMAZING as far as taste, luke-warm and a very small portion for«a small plate» instead of an appetizer. The shrimp was fresh but slightly chewy, and the cilantro used as garnish was definitely not fresh. My husband had calamari to start and gave it a 7 – 8 out of 10 which is pretty good. I ordered lamb with a honey mustard sauce on a bed of cheesy polenta and grilled chard– Oh My Goodness! So tasty! My husband had the seared tuna with broccolini and was still hungry after so we order him the lamb as well!(My husband is a big eater– the tuna portion would’ve been enough to fill me up) Our waiter was kind. Not the most attentive. We got the feeling he was high — but this is CO. We shared the flourless chocolate cake which was okay and brought our children home the raspberry macaroons which I did not care for at all. The libations, lamb, décor and proximity will bring us back again. Glad Erie is home to this farm to table establishment.

We moved from Boulder recently and I put 24 on par with Oak and The Kitchen. The cocktails are unique, interesting, and very well done. The food is outstanding. Perfectly prepared and balanced. This is our new go to place for special occasions as it is a little pricey. With drinks, an appetizer, and two entrees we usually end up spending about $ 100. We have had mixed service which is the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. We were warned by a couple other people of the slow service. The first time we went was literally the worst service I’ve ever had. Our food took an insane amount of time and the server, an older woman, was very confused. However, since then we’ve been back three times and have had excellent service. Hopefully that was a one time deal.

A friend and I celebrated her birthday and it was fabulous. Great atmosphere and service. The drinks were stellar and the waitress and bartender very knowledgable. She had several perfect small plates, I had the brick chicken, and we shared bites and found everything just perfect. Driving to Erie can seem daunting, but it was about 15 minutes from both Boulder and Louisville and parking is a breeze. We will be back soon !

This was my second time. I had the seared Ahi tuna. It was fantastic. The wait staff is very considerate and the food was fast out of the kitchen. I really like the brick wall ambiance.

I went in with a friend several weeks ago for lunch. We started with the kale dip and sweet potato chips… I could have eaten that all day. We each ordered a sandwich and they were good. I give it a four star only because often a sandwich is a sandwich. I need to venture back to try other menu items before giving 5 stars. As for the service, we had no complaints. Our waitress was very attentive with our water glasses and giving us the right amount of time to chat and review the menu and order. I will definitely go back.

So I have been told by many friends here in Erie to give this a try because it was very good, but I had a very different experience. For starters, it was a cold evening and they say us by the door so we froze. Ugh:(Then our service was average at best. I was hoping that this would be a very enjoyable experience since we were going to celebrate my 41st Birthday and our 22nd Wedding Anniversary. It was not a good experience at all. I had the Garden Salad for starters, not worth the 6 dollars! Hardly any taste! Then I had the Lamb and it was cold. I expect a 25.00 meal to be very tasty and oh maybe warm? I would not recommend this restaurant! I was really hoping for this new, high end restaurant in Erie to really amazing but it is lacking greatly. I will not return, I feel like I have given this restaurant plenty of time to get adjusted to the environment and I was not pleased. I thought I would be giving this review a much different twist but I know good food and this does not match up. I give them kudos for trying to be farm to table, but they let me down greatly. You just don’t serve cold food and expect for people to come back.

This is the best restaurant I’ve been to on the front range /that’s a bold statement as I am an avid foodie! The calamari is to die for. The seared ahi tuna dish done rare is hands down the best I’ve ever had, and I used to live in Hawaii! The bartenders blew my mind. Best gin martini I’ve ever had made by bartender DJ/I just asked him to make it not sweet and to be creative /the man knows his spirits. Flour less chocolate cake with hazel nuts was mind bending! I haven’t found a restaurant in Boulder that can touch this place.

So I had the burger had to be one of the top two or three best burgers I’ve had and I’ve had quite a few all over the US. My wife’s dish was spectacular and the scotch well it was plentiful and good. Not enough can be said about this place.

I was first intrigued by 24 Carrot when I heard of their drink, «The Swillin’ Swine,» that has bacon fat and bourbon. I figured there’s someone creative in this establishment, so it would be worth a shot. After visiting three times, I can happily say that this place is exactly what I hoped it would be! Every dish has been superb, from the kale dip to the pork chops. The burger is excellent and the salads(which don’t normally excite me) are amazing. The only drawback is that I’ve had consistently slow service. I don’t want to indicate that their servers are lax, but I do think they get a little overwhelmed during the busy hours and could use more help. The atmosphere is awesome and feels more like a place on Pearl Street(Boulder), but more affordable and way easier to access. Some comparable restaurants include The Kitchen and Old Major; it’s sort of a merge between the two. If they could get their kale dip recipe dialed in with preferably less cream cheese(in relation to the rest of the ingredients) I’d probably push my rating to 5 stars. Overall, I really enjoy 24 Carrot because it takes full advantage of the farm-to-table theme with unique and delicious pairings. It doesn’t really matter whether you go for a simple dish here, or something more complex — you can have confidence that they will all be quite delectable and memorable. I think it has a lot to do with sourcing the best ingredients a season has to offer!

I’m torn between 3 and 4 stars here, but since they were nice and let me order off the kids menu, I’ll give them the 4. Came here for lunch with a girl friend — fairly easy to find, parking was streetside and free for enough hours for me. It is close to other places to eat as well, including a cider house. I started with a cocktail(with egg whites, yum!) which was good and included«homemade» ingredients — nice bar selection, I recommend getting a craft cocktail for sure. I then got an order of kids hamburger and mac & cheese — took one home and ate the other there. The burger was good, cooked perfectly, large in size, nice bun. The mac & cheese was a bit bland, would’ve liked to see«extras» available(ie, $ 0.50−4 with bacon, chicken, lobster, etc). Desserts looked good but I was full after the burger(and fries). Cute place, not many tables and a bit loud and close. Would recommend for a date night or lunch with friends.

Okay… Coy is the waiter you want… Best ever. So you looking for one of the best and new places in Erie, Co. This is the BEST new place in Denver actually! Watch out Denver! Totally worth a drive to eat and enjoy it all. There name of 24 Carrot is good, but it should be renamed to 24 Carrot GOLD. Not for price, but for the GOLD experience, Freshness, service, taste and totally one of a kind place. I will be back here often and bring all my guests here first before any other place in Erie, CO… No even before downtown Denver. Ps… Just even come by for deserts!

I am an Erie resident feel very fortunate that we have such a high caliber restaurant here! They really try to get local organic food which I really appreciate. Their food is very good and comes out beautifully prepared. We had some of their signature drinks, it had bacon infused whiskey and was very delicious! Looking forward to many happy returns! Thanks 24 cure for such a wonderful dining experience! The entire staff is amazing!

My brother and his wife, who live in Erie, told us we needed to check out the new 24 Carrot Bistro in the old Coal Company location in downtown Erie. We met up with them for dinner early on a Friday night. We did not have a reservation, and they were totally booked up. We sat at a couple of belly bars near the side of the bar that were available without a reservation, and that worked well. I ordered the burger and my brother ordered the almond crusted cod. Presentation was outstanding and the service was excellent. Patrick was our server, and he went over all the beers on the menu. We love craft beer and lucked out to find they carried the Sculpin IPA from Ballast Point Brewing in San Diego. This is by far one of the best IPA’s known to man. The burger was tender and cooked to glorious perfection. I ordered a Brussel slaw in place of the fries. It was wonderful as well. I can see why this place books up as everything was delicious. My brother loved his large piece of crusted cod. One tip is that this place books up two to three days in advance on a weekend. So, call ahead for weekend night seating. You can see a bit into the kitchen, and I can tell you that they have a large staff working hard in there. Bianca, one of the owners, came by also and was so welcoming to our group after our meal. She told me her husband is the chef, and that they have a staff of culinary students from Boulder assisting them. It shows in the quality of the local food, and the presentation of each meal. I highly recommend, and it is worth the drive from Boulder or Denver and beyond, but be sure to call ahead for a reservation. This is a real gem.

We ate at 24 Carrot Bistro for the first time last night and loved it. Great atmosphere and wonderful waitstaff. We sampled from the appetizer, salad, entrée and desert menu, and nothing disappointed. The highlights for me was the Pickled Vegetable(the fennel was amazing), the Flatiron Steak and the Flourless Chocolate Cake. Great drink menu and my cocktail — Farmer’s Daughter– was perfect, light and crisp. We will be back soon!

Awesome tasting food, satisfying portions, creative drinks, awesome selection, friendly wait staff and pretty affordable. Really fun date night spot. Favorite starter pâté had to be the meatballs, and the sweet potato chips with cheese dip. Favorite small plate is the kale Cesar salad or the ribs. Favorite entrée was brick chicken, or the crispy duck, and for desert the carrot cake with ice huckleberry ice cream. Yum. So happy these guys chose Erie! Thank you 24 carrot. Just found their website…

Only had lunch but will be back to try dinner. Lunch overall was really 3.5 TIPTOOWNER: To keep people flowing in, lunch prices should get closer to $ 10 for a full lunch(main, side, drink). Have lunch combo options in the $ 8-$ 12 range. Also, some people(like me) want veggies, salad, etc… not just a bunch of starch(fries). I know fries are cheap but they are just fries — not exactly the most healthy thing in the world ;-) Lunch impressions… Service: 3 — had lunch on a Tues, it was not busy but took 10 minutes to get a servers, the owner had to take our order. It also took about 20 minutes to get our food. Nothing we ordered would have taken more than about 3 – 4 minutes to prep. Décor: 5 — very cute place, just what is needed in Erie Price: 3.5 — We spent $ 35+tip for Cuban Sandwich, Mussles entrée, Spinach side-salad, and 1 beer. Each entrée was a bit higher than I thought it should be given the size… more fries does not make it worth more $ ;-) Food: 4 … Mussles, 3 — taste was good but the quantity was WAYTOLOW. Adding a ton a fries does not make it worth $ 9. The meal was mainly fries. Up the mussles quantity and this would be a 4.5 … Cuban sandwich, 3.5 — taste was pretty good but the meat dry — and likely lots a lot of flavor in cooking(or reheating?). It lacked the moistness that good pulled pork should have(and does when i make it at home). I’ve had Cuban sandwiches many times, from Cuban restaurants and this one left me wanting. … Strawberry & Roasted Beet salad, 4 — got this with the regular balsamic(not the raspberry). It was good, what is expected from any good restaurant. Nothing special, just a nice small salad.
