Not many cities have a all-ages venue for concerts and other events. Erie is blessed to have one. The building used to be a theatre and is in a bit of an arrears on maintenance, but it has room for 350 – 400 people. This means that they can host genre specific concerts that are attractive to young folks. The sound system there is really very good. The acoustics are also great. It has a back room with a smaller stage, a couple of pool tables and a small kitchen. The biggest issue is parking. It doesn’t appear to have a lot, which means you have to seek out street parking. All in all, a great place in a city you wouldn’t expect to find the same.
