Ehrlich Pest Control

We at G&l Enterprises use Ehrlich for all of our exterminating issues. They have superior service, their the only ones in Erie who can properly get rid of bed bugs, roaches, ants, mice and any other issue we have at our rental properties. Their technicians are beyond the best their curtious, professional and knowledgeable we love working with them all. Their office people and manager and corporate people are also very curtious, professional, knowledgeable and prompt. We have no problem with their prices they are very reasonable and get the job done, we have tried a few other businesses in the area and all have failed us so we’ve stuck with Ehrlich for past 3 years and will continue to! Don’t waste your money with the rest you will just end up having to call Ehrlich in the end to get the job done right!

I called Ehrlich when I noticed a small collection of pests near the baseboard in my kitchen. My wife was understandably upset and assumed they were termites. I had my doubts. There was no evidence of any damage and the small group was easily cleaned up with a rag and didn’t reappear. I called Ehrich and kept a few live specimens to show them. The technician who arrived first walked around the property «to determine the size» and then came inside to look at the bugs. His reaction was, «hmmm, yeah, maybe they are termites? I’m really not sure I’m new. Yeah, I guess they are termites.» He then says they probably came through the foundation and my only solution is to treat the entire property with their «Continuous Subterranean Termite Monitoring/​Baiting Service». Initial installation cost of $ 1,000 with a $ 30/​month service plan! So he could not identify the bug or tell me anything about the situation, did not inspect or even look anywhere else in the house, but he was quick to sell me on their $ 1,000 service to pump chemicals through my entire property. Great. Naturally I called for a second opinion. A second smaller pest control company comes out and says it’s NOT termites at all. Nothing to worry about. Just some ants who made their way through the front door in summertime when I disturbed their nests mowing. They offered to power wash and spray the exterior for spiders/​ants/​bugs next spring for $ 200 but said it wasn’t even necessary.
So now almost a year later. We didn’t get either treatment and there was no more signs of the ants and certainly no terminates. I felt compelled to write this review when I came across this absurd «quote» in my filing cabinet. If I had listened to the amateur from Ehrich I would have paid $ 1500 to solve a problem I didn’t even have to begin with. This is wrong. I would avoid this company and get someone you can trust.
