Came in here over the weekend, Saturday at lunch, and nobody was in the place. It hey have a bunch of pizzas sitting in a glass case. It doesn’t look that appealing. Regardless, I was hungry and hesitatingly ordered a slice of NY meat lovers. They put it through some conveyor belt oven to heat it up. I noticed they have lots of seating inside and outside. They also sell small bags of chips, fountain drinks, and bottled drinks in a large refrigerator. Once the slice was heated I paid(they accept credit cards) at the counter. They nicely put the slice in a styrofoam container to keep it warm. The good news is that the pizza tasted really good. Nice crunchy thin crust with a good amount of cheese and toppings. I would get this again anytime I’m touring the island.

Ok, this pizza is awesome. If you’re looking for a great NY style pizza in Erie I highly recommend this place. We had a ham pizza and one with just banana peppers and their breadsticks. All were just great. Not a sweet sauce and the breadsticks(maybe the pizza too) have a touch but not too much garlic. Plenty of seating, only downfall is on busy nights because of the other restaurants, the parking can be hectic. Would definitely eat here again, in fact looking forward to it.

Ordered from the downtown one, it took them almost an hour and a half to deliver! Needless to say, the pizza was cold. The person that I spoke to on the phone said they would take ten bucks off of the order. After work I went down there to offer to split the difference with them because I felt guilty. She said that it was already run through the system. I check my bank statement three days later, and there was no credit. Late pizza, cold pizza, and a dirty liar. I’m sure the apples don’t fall far from the tree. Good luck with this business.

I was first intrigued in my hotel when I saw their«pies» deep dish style having the second layer of dough on top. Ordered a dd chicken jalapeño. The woman was courteous and nice. When it was delivered the pizza was hefty in one hand. Instant delight set it. Thick dough, covered in toppings cheese sauce and Parm cheese too. Their red sauce is Zesty and appealing. I’d go deep in another. Too bad i love chicken a and jalps for days.

We arrived in Erie late on a Monday and ordered from Stevo’s for delivery to our hotel. We were told it would be about 35 to 45 minutes(reasonable). After 20 minutes we got a call that the driver was on his way and did we want him to come to the room or meet out front. I said we would meet him in the lobby. After waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes, I called Stevo’s and was told they only had one driver and he had a lot of stops to make and would be there in 10 to 15 minutes. 10 minutes later I received a call from the driver stating he was at a completely different address than the hotel and wanted to know where we were — I was so frustrated(and hungry) I told him we didn’t want the pizza and to cancel our order. We went back to our room to get the kids to go somewhere to get food. When we walked out of our room there was a pizza delivery guy at the end of the hall knocking on a door — I asked him if he was from Stevo’s and he said yes and walked down the hall and gave us the pizza. We had ordered a large with pepperoni and a medium white pizza. I will admit that, while somewhat cold, the pepperoni pizza was very good and would have been great hot. The white pizza was very disappointing. For some reason there was black olives and onions on the pizza(we didn’t order it that way). The onions were so strong they completely ruined the taste of the pizza. Will probably never order from or go there again.

It is ok. That’s about it. Would never go out of my way to get again. It’s the type of pizza that if it is sitting in front of you, you’ll eat it but won’t love it or hate it.

Great pizza! Nice place to eat, friendly service. Pizza was delicious! They have NY style, deep dish & stuffed pizza. They also have sandwiches, salads, specialty pizzas. Staff was very nice & helpful. We were at the beach all day and wanted something good & close so we could get back to the beach. This fit the bill.

Either Stevo’s location has some of the better pizza you can get in Erie: baked in a stone oven(key to a great pizza!), tasty ingredients, there isn’t much to complain about in terms of the pizza. If you’re not feeling a Smith’s hot dog at neighboring Sara’s, Stevo’s is a nice alternative after a day at the beach. They have chicken wings also and they aren’t bad, but they’re by-the-book flavors.

I’d better update my review(my wife didn’t like that I only gave them 4 stars last time, and I said to her«i only gave them four? whoops!»). I’ve been here many more times since the initial visit with my now wife… the pizza has always been fantastic, the fries have almost always been stellar… if I wasn’t completely sold on this place the first time I came to visit, I sure am now. They don’t have a huge soda(oops, I forgot, I’m in Erie now… it’s ‘pop’ here… though Pop is what I call my father) selection but they have Pepsi products and Dr Pepper as well. I am not happy that the broccoli cheese soup is only available seasonally during the winter months(it’s still cold out as of this writing, broccoli cheese soup would’ve been a perfect companion to my dinner tonight). I also think it’s kind of silly that they took down one of their two tv’s to put it above the register to promote the menu there, as it left a huge hole on the wall in the dining area from where they had removed the tv. one thing I like about this place is that there is almost always something good on TV and if we are the only customers in the place and don’t like it, they will change it to what we like.

Very good pizza both styles. They have by the slice which is huge slices is like 2 slices of regular pizza. The Chicago deep dish is great. Actual deep dish with the sauce on top. Great especially when hungover. Fair prices too

In three years of living in Erie I couldn’t find pizza that was close to what they make in my hometown of Chicago. Stevo’s deep dish can hang with pizza places in the city of Chi and I’ve eaten a lot of pizza on while on this earth. Their stuffed crust and thin crust is worth trying as well. Stevo’s I’m so glad you are in Erie! I haven’t had a chance to try other menu items but my wife has had their salad and she said great things about it.

With apologies to Will Rogers, I never met a pizza I didn’t like. But New York style pizza is by far my favorite – big, saucy, floppy slices that are perfect as they are, and don’t require multiple toppings, or cheese stuffed crust, or any other gimmicky nonsense. Stevo’s really does it right; the best NY style pizza around here, and maybe the best outside of NY. Naturally, I was excited when Stevo’s opened a Peninsula Drive location, because then their pie would be closer to home, and I wouldn’t have to haul my sorry butt downtown to get it. A few months ago, the Mrs, and I met at Stevo’s on a weekday just as they were opening for the day. We grabbed a couple root beers, some parmesan, and waited. Now, our pizza did take a good while to get to us, but our patience was rewarded. The sizzling pie that was brought to our table was absolutely perfect. Tart but not sour sauce, a perfect amount of cheese, and a great crust. Just right. These folks know what they’re doing, and the price is in line(actually slightly below) the big chains. And they deliver too. Oh, I guess you could order deep dish, and load your pizza up wth toppings. Stevo’s can do that. But before you do, try it classic NY style. Now if they just served egg creams, the New York experience would be complete.

Allow me to preface my review by stating that I have yet to visit the Mecca of deep dish deliciousness that is Chicago. That being said, the deep dish meat lover’s pizza that I had last week from Stevo’s on Peninsula was AWESOME!!! Hands down, the best deep dish pizza that I have ever enjoyed! Normally, I would say that $ 17 for a 14″ pie is a little steep but definitely not in this case! I ordered my pizza and when I was picking it up 30 minutes later I was immediately struck by how heavy it was. It felt like it weighed 10 lbs., no kidding!!! When I got home and tasted it the compliments kept gushing out of me. The crust was perfect with the edges making for a nice handle and a tasty, buttery finish of each slice. The meats and cheese were perfectly adorned by a delicious tomato sauce and then topped with a sprinkling of Parmesan! I have never been filled by two slices of pizza until I took on this mammoth!!! Keep up the good work! I can say with absolute certainty that I will be ordering this again in the very near future!!!

Well, we came back last night and ordered a large pepperoni pie. It took 50 minutes for us to receive it at our table. The table next to us left after 45 minutes. After and hour, another family was informed that their order ticket was lost, and that they would need to reorder. Meanwhile, there were folks standing around waiting for their takeout food. Staff knew about the problem on their hands. Patrons were actually warning anyone coming through the door! While waiting I noticed a large television box and all of the styrofoam pieces that belong with it blocking the back exit. It remained there our entire visit. We won’t return anytime soon.

A couple of us ordered pizza from this place for delivery at our marina on the peninsula, and we weren’t disappointed. We ordered one large, ½ veggie and half pepperoni and pineapple. Yes, I know it’s an odd combination. The delivery service was great, and much faster than the estimate we got of 45 minutes to an hour. The pizza arrived in about 30 minutes. The delivery driver was courteous. I was happy with the pizza, except for the crust. It was paper thin, which would be fine on a regular cheese pizza. However, any additional toppings required the use of two hands to pick up the pieces of the pie.
