What an adorable classic bakery in a small hidden strip mall. Family run, local, and sweet staff. They seem to have a great selection of everything from strudel, donuts, muffins, and cookies to amazing looking Cakes and cheesecakes. They also had some impressive looking cupcakes (but me personally I do not like cake). On this occasion I tried their cheesecake brownie and éclair. Both were delicious! So happy I accidentally stumbled upon this place and I will definitely be back to try more goodies!

I love Emerson’s. If it wasn’t $ 8 for a dozen donuts, I’d go there more often. The cheese cups are an indulgent treat and the Virginia Reels are my favorite.

This local bakery housed in a nondescript strip mall along Dixie Highway is quite the treat. This is the kind of the place you remember going to as a child. There are no fancy surprises here. Instead, you’ll cheese pockets, doughnuts, and thumbprint cookies packaged lovingly in glassine bags by friendly old ladies.
