Very laid back and almost step back in time atmosphere. Its a little grass strip with a lot of plane activity going on. From biplanes, taildraggers taking off and landing to gliders being towed constantly on weekends. Very cool place to come and hang out on a nice day. Its a popular stop for bikers. They also have a grill going with hotdogs, hamburgers, and drinks on weekends. Will def go back again.

What a cute little airfield! Never knew it existed till I went there on a sunday to see my dad’s band play in one of the hangers. it was really neat. there were plenty of people there, and it was neat to watch the retro planes take off and land. It is off the beaten path, and you will have to drive on some tight, windy roads, but once you get there, it’s all good. They also apparently show movies in the summer on the weekends.

Super charming small grass field airport. Hot dog stand open on weekends. Bi-​plane and glider rides. Some very cool bi-​planes you can watch take off and land while hanging out at nearby picnic tables. Check it out if you’re in the area!
