My dad went here several times during the late ‘80s /​early ‘90s (a couple of times were my fault, sorry, Dad!) Same owners, same principal employees, same wonderful service and attention to detail. George and Nestor remembered me even though it had been 20+ years. They did a fantastic job… not the fastest, not the cheapest, but they do it RIGHT. I’ll absolutely go back if I need body work again anywhere in the San Diego area. If this is a drive for you, it’ll be worth it.

My car was stolen in Feb 2015. I had to buy a new car within 3 days. I bought a brand new car and after 2 weeks, I was hit on the freeway from behind doing about 70 mph. I took it to the dealership and they sent it here. Not realizing it, I found out that it was my old best friends dads business still after 30 years. You have no idea how much stress was relieved. I knew I was in good hands. They had my car for a little over 3 weeks and when I picked it up it looked brand new again. I cant stress enough or say enough Thank you’s to them for making my car look amazing. I highly recommend this collision place. They are great, honest people and you will not be disappointed. My car was hit at a stop light in late January. The light impact left an outline of the license plate and small tear in the rear bumper clip. Brought my to Advanced Collision for a quote to fix. David came out and looked the car over and provided me quote within a few minutes. The quote appeared reasonable for the work noted. Brought the back a few days later for the work to be performed. The shop called the day before completion to say the car would be ready the next day. The shop called again the next morning to confirm that the car would be done as originally quoted. I inspected the car and the repair great. Paint match is excellent and finish very clean. Will definitely use this shop again for any future repairs. The guys I dealt with were David and John, they were pleasant and straightforward.

I came to this place recommended to me by my local hyundai dealer to order a handle for my drivers side door. yea u remember me now off the strength of that there. I brought them a quote from a different repair shop prepared to pay that price. The handle was not in stock and they had to order it.
1^st mistake– not calling me to let me know my part was in. I just so happened to show up because my girl was getting a smog check next door. Then he sees me and says «I called you.» No you didn’t and if you did you didn’t leave a message. Horrible follow up. I give him the keys and he has them put the part on. 2^nd mistake-​Then we go to sign the paperwork and there’s a lesser charge and this is the actual invoice. I sign and that’s that right? NOPE. He then argues with me on the previous quote given and won’t man up to his mistake.
3^rd mistake-​it gets heated with argument and this guy trying to hold my keys hostage and I’m like you made the mistake, now you need to honor that price. Someone steps in and arguments we’re talking he goes outside arguments Snr takes my car back to the stall to put my old part back on. Shady, slum, business. Then instead of making copies of my paperwork for court I take the file. This guy snatches the paperwork out my hands because he wants no traces of this. I snatched it back and told him I’ll see him in court. He knows he made a mistake, he was pleading wit my girl to pay the regular price. As a place of business you have to honor a listed price. You don’t have to price match your competition but, you have to honor the price you have documented on paper with your company logo on it. Might not even hold up in court judging how the system is but that’s what Unilocal for right!!! Sound off and don’t come to this place.

My experience with George & John was nothing short of Amazing! I finally have a business that I trust a 100% & would recommend to everyone. Not only does my car look great it looks better than when I bought it brand new! The attention to detail the honesty & the customer service were top notch! My only regret is that they don’t own anymore types if business so I could shop there! Lol thanks again for all your help guys!

Our car was side swiped badly as we were getting gas and my husband took the car to Advanced Collision. They worked wonders on the car and communicated with us and the insurance company. They made an unpleasant situation bearable. So then when I was sitting still at a stop sign and got hit again in just about the same spot– the car was back with John at Advanced Collision. Once again, they were a joy to work with and the car looks as good as new.

Extraordinary customer service and very thorough. My wife was involved in a car accident in April, and amongst other things that needed to be repaired, the car battery that was brand new from «Auto Zone» was not holding a charge.
George and his staff gave my wife a new battery until she as able to get a replacement from «Auto Zone» without any concerns about reimbursement. They were clearly more concerned about the possibility that my wife’s car would be stuck somewhere without a charge than the money. Of course we told them once we figured out if it was the battery or the car we’d gladly pay.

advance auto collision really stepped up for my son Greg who is in united states army. advanced did all the work on his 1969 fury just to surprise him when he came back from iraq. george nester Ben david I mean all the guys it was great. and beautiful work .the car looks better now than I did 42 years ago. thank you guys.

Over the past few years and many cars later, Advanced Collision Repair has always been there for my family and me. We have brought every single car to this establishment and by far, the service and repair was outstanding. Advanced Collision Repair provides timely contact, great customer service and care to ensure all vehicular problems are solved to the fullest extent. One of the main individuals I was placed in direct hands was John McClure. His outstanding support provided the expertise and dedication to ‘the job’ and should be used as an example for other companies. Additionally, with the easy tie in I was able to pay my deductible at the shop and their billing department, and my insurance, solved the financial piece. As a reviewer I could continue on, but need I say more? In order to experience the service and commitment set forth by the individuals working here, as well as the company as a whole, I implore you to bring your next vehicle mishap to this location– you’ll be glad you did.

My poor car was in two accidents in over two years. Every time Advance took care of me and car perfectly! They had to order a bumper for me and Kia kept sending me broken bumpers, but Advance took care of it and didn’t give me my car back until they got top quality from Kia. They were really nice and compassionate during a really stressful ordeal.

I was referred to Advanced by Allstate. After waiting 20 minutes to be acknowledged the guy seemed annoyed waived his hands and said «I am sure we will find more damage». I should have went with my gut feeling and went somewhere else! I authorized them to do extra side work nicks and dings whike waiting for parts. Two weeks later on a Friday they were rushing used touch up paint with a brush crappy looking job on my mirror !! I was so upset that I did not notice my light in the back was cracked !! I had only went to my brothers house in a gated community for a couple of hours for dinner. They stated that it could have happened there but there was no one around! They originally said they would pay half then nothing at all pictures showed it was not broken when I took it in !! Then he had the guts to say you mean we have to redo the mirror for free, If they were happy the way they left it then I guess they do not care about quality. I had better quality work and customer service from a place down the street years ago when my sister got in an accident in my car. They spoke rudely to me. I reported this to Allstate not sure what will be done but they did say they were glad I did because most people do not complain when they are unhappy. I paid them 330 for the extra work plus deductible, plus what Allstate paid. I paid a guy working out of his garage much less last year to take nicks and dings out even more than I had this time. All I can say some people came in referred by Allstate as I had to take an extra five hours while they redid work that should have been done right in the first place. If you go there beware, look at your car good but i would recommend going elsewhere alot of heartache for almost 4000.00 in work. Over priced !!

Unfortunately, my wife was sideswiped over the weekend so we find ourselves in need of a good repair facility … again. So it’s back to Advanced Collision Repair in Escondido. Over the last 15 years we’ve done something on the the order of $ 60K in business there — most paid by our insurers of course. David and George operate a clean, first rate facility, they do excellent works and have a terrific crew. The paint always matches and the car doesn’t rattle afterward.
I’ve spent a few hours in their shop while I dropped off and picked up cars and I am struck by how gentle they are with people in pain. I’ve seen them do incredibly kind acts for people that were hurting. They get to see a lot of people having bad days and they do their best to help them.
What I appreciate most about them is how they «handle» the insurance companies. They’re fair and speak softly and yet, carry a big stick. In the few instances when we discovered the vehicle needed additional work the Brothers Simental, David and George, got the adjusters out promptly and received the funding necessary to make the repairs. Other shops just roll over and quit trying — and you end up with a damaged ride that just lost much of it’s resale value.
They stay in touch and let you know exactly what’s going on and when you’ll get your wheels back. That’s rare. I know this because I’ve been coerced into using other shops on a couple of occasions. Don’t let your insurance company bully you into using one of their «certified» shop. it seems «certified» is just another word for «collusion». Insist on Advanced.
Very cool: they are just around the corner from a rental car agency and what with the extraordinary service and the convenience of the rental car agency it makes for relatively seamless service.
Automobile accidents are always a hassle. But George and David do everything they can to make a bad situation as good as possible.
I’ve recommended them to 5 or 6 friends and colleagues over the years and I’ve made a point to check back to see how they did. In every case I heard nothing but accolades. So it’s without hesitation that I give Advanced Auto Collision the vaunted 5 Stars!
Drive safe — watch out for maroons! And to the woman that hit my wife — slow down and get new tires! If you loved your children you’d use car seats — ya knob!
