Cyn City Lashes

I liked Cynthia’s personality– but my lashes were not good at all compared to other places I’ve been. Other places will tell you, «don’t go over an 8 on your lashes, or they won’t last». Cynthia added very heavy lashes to my own and they lasted 2 days. I was sad because I liked her. I told her and she said it was the glue which it could have been and I didn’t go back. I went to my usual lady (she’s far but I needed a rescue) and she said it was because they were too heavy for my lashes. I give her a 3 because she did offer to do them again.

Wonderfully talented! I have tried other places and not only is the price extremely higher but I am never satisfied completely. She does an amazing job each and every time.

My experiences with Cynthia have been great. She’s been on time and very sweet. I haven’t felt rushed, and she’s listened to my few special requests, and met them.
I’ve had lashes on and off for a few years, and know what I like and what I don’t. I also know the difference between someone experienced and someone not. She’s absolutely met my expectations.
I’ve read the previous reviews, and there are a few people who’ve had a different experience, and many more who’ve had the same great experience as I have. A couple of thoughts… You should be prepared for a small wait time when seeing anyone in the beauty industry. I agree that anything over 20 minutes is generally too much… but I always try to keep in mind that there may be more going on than I know about. If you can’t wait, then ask to reschedule and explain (politely) that you just cannot wait any longer. (in that kind of situation, you might even get a discount when you return)
With regard to returning text messages, I’ve had to correspond with her over text regarding appointment changes, and she’s replied every single time. While I can’t guess at what happened with those few other reviewers, it does seem completely out of character from my own experiences.
That said, I absolutely love my lashes, and highly recommend her!

Had a great expierence! I have been to at least 3 local places who I wasn’t very satisfied with and I did stumble upon her by a deal which was a great value! I didn’t expect what I got… usually the tech’s want to charge arm/​leg for what I want which is a full set of flirty lashes and the first go around she nailed it! She gave me exactly what I want, and I don’t even need to add mascara for a more dramatic look! Her prices are great and her place is cute right in the heart of downtown Esco.

I am so happy I found Cynthia she was amazing… she turned my crusty eyelash extensions that I have gotten previous from a horrible salon to nice soft eyelashes. She literally saved me ! I recommend anyone she is amazing and a great genuine person with an amazing talent, thanks again I love my eyelashes!

I’m contacting Groupon to get my money back asap. Scheduled an appointment only to get a text an hour before my appointment telling me she needed to cancel (not even the common courtesy to call). Meanwhile, my husband had already left work early, potentially costing our family hundreds in lost commission so he could watch the kids. I was fine with her rescheduling but after trying twice to reach her for an appointment with no response, I feel it’s only fair to warn others that my experience was that she has no respect for others time, lacks professionalism and she may do good lashes but I’ll never know because she doesn’t respond to calls or texts. Annoying and unprofessional.

No stars if I could. I’m still sitting here waiting to have my eyelashes done and it’s going on an hour and 15 minutes. STILL WAITING! Cynthia messaged me before my appointment to let me know she would be A FEW MINUTES late but it seems to be that she’s blowing me off and does not intend to show up. I WOULD NOT recommend Cynthia for any service. I’m only in town for 4 days and she has wasted close to two hours of my time. Once I tried to contact her she would not answer my phone calls or read my texts. Blatantly paying no mind to my time or the services that I paid for. Disrespectful, and annoying.

One of the nicest persons I’ve met in a long while. If in the market for beautiful, long and luscious lashes be sure to get with Ms Cyn. You won’t be disappointed.

Went to her based on reviews. After one week the lashes on my left eye started to fall out and were twisting. She agreed to fix it, but what she ended up doing was pulling and cutting out the loose extensions. It was so painful. She then glued chunks to «fill» it in. After the second week my eyes were hurting so I get them removed properly by another aesthetician. My right eye is so sparse that I look like those ill people who’ve lost all their lashes. I noticed on my left eye I have a bunch of stubby lashes where she must have cut the extensions and ended up cutting my lashes. I had always had long lashes (½ inch) just on the thinner side and now they are barely a quarter of a inch with bald patches. This will take weeks to regrow.
The whole process for a full set was 45 minutes, which I was told was too quick, hence the sloppy work. The other aesthetician noticed she glued one extension to several lashes, contributing to the loss of lashes as lashes grow at different rates. Most of the damage I didn’t realize until the lashes were removed. I also couldn’t wash my lashes properly because she packed so much glue my lashes were stiff. There is a reason some places are pricey and it because their skill level is worth it.

Horrible job and costumers service. After Cynthia rush me out of the room cause, she had and other customer waiting. I look myself in my car mirror. I noticed that the eyelashes on my right size look terrible I come back and she only pull it out of my eye and didn’t really fix it. I text her couple days later and let her know that my lashes was falling off. (I have eyelashes extension before and this didn’t happen before) she didn’t reply to my text I wait for couple more days I text her again she finally agreed to give me and appointment, but she cancel on me the next day. Then she ask me to go the next day at 7:30 pm I agree just because my eyelashes looks pretty bad by then so I was hoping to finally have it fix. when I got there at 7:30 pm like she request. Everything was close I knock several times on the door call her and text her with no response. I never hear anything from her til I text her again requesting my money back. She say that she couldn’t because after the 3 days. I have to pay her again to get it fix. Please don’t loose your money and time don’t ever do you’re eyelashes with her

Second time not so good! I had an appt. and had to wait 20 min. Because she was doing a facial. (Time management skills are NOT my problem)
As the previously lady was leaving the room she had me lay down on the same sheet on the bed, ewww.
When she finished, one eye was sticking from the glue so I looked out the corner of my eye expecting to see tweezers or something to undo the glue… But she cut with small scissors! When I got home I had to take some glue off from UNDER my lashes. They looked ok except one eye was uneven on the edge where she cut. Very obvious inside my house where there is better lighting. My eyes ached all day. I ended up taking them off and moving on. I’ve been doing this for many years, first time my eyes ached which made me nervous of her a aseptic technique. I can she she was a really nice girl. But I’m not coming back.

Cynthia did an amazing job with my eyelashes. My main reason for getting eyelash extensions was more out of laziness than vanity, whenever I skip mascara people ask if tired but since I have a toddler I often don’t have time to put mascara on. Cynthia was able to give me a natural look that instantly improved my appearance. I highly recommend checking her out!

Cynthia is seriously the best. I’ve been to a lot of lash stylists and have never been more satisfied. Cynthia listens to EXACTLY what you want done and does it perfectly very quickly. It’s comfortable, quick, and to the point.
Never going anywhere else!

Wanna get eyelash extensions this is the place to go to. i have never done extensions before on my lashes but every since the first time I had them done at this salon I love them and will continue to go to the salon every time. Cynthia does them is soo awesome, friendly and does an outstanding job! You won’t get a better result or service if u go anywhere else for example the chop shops! So all in all Cyn City lashes is the way to go!!!
