Lauri offers professional and personal service. She gave a quote by phone, kept in touch via text, arrived early, and walked through our sitting with grace and attention to detail. She clearly knew what she as doing. We did head shots both formal and casual. She worked with our needs and ideas for settings. She was cheerful as she worked. When the proofs were made available we were struck by her skill in lighting and composition and had a hard time narrowing it down to the ones we liked best.

We got our newborn pictures from LLM Design and they are STUNNING! She was very easy to work with and our baby was calm the entire photo session.

Lauri is great! She’s so comfortable with kids, and knows how to get the most amazing shots without trying to force them into something that makes them uncomfortable (read: cranky and uncooperative). We met up at the lake for a family shoot with our two young ones in tow and I left with a «well let’s see what comes of THAT» mentality… two weeks later she sends me the link to the online gallery and there are TONS of beautiful pictures that she somehow captured!

The one thing I look for when working with any professional is a passion for what they do. LLM Design and Media has that passion and it is apparent in everything they do. We worked with Lauri, and her positive, light hearted attitude makes every photographic experience amazing and memorable. She was the photographer of choice for my wedding, my wife’s maternity photos, and our first professional baby photos. In an age of digital photography available in almost every phone, in almost every pocket, it might seem like having a professional take pictures is simply overkill; but you couldn’t be more wrong. LLM has continued to go beyond what we thought we wanted, and delivered the professional pictures we didn’t think were possible at the affordable price we were given. They work with what you ask for, but aren’t afraid to offer suggestions when you may or may not know what is possible. Lauri from LLM Design and Media is simply amazing! She did our wedding, maternity, and most recently our newborn photo shoots. I never knew how much patience and creativity it took to get good newborn photos, but I am really impressed. I am so happy with how everything came out and I hope she will be our family photographer for life :)

I used LLM a couple of times last year. Once for my family photos and another for my sons first birthday party. We did our family photos in May in Coronado by the Hotel Del. Lauri set up quickly and we moved around the beach area and took many pictures. She was very patient with my son who is always energized. She made that experience so much fun that we decided to booked her again for my son’s birthday party that summer. She came to the party with plenty of time to set up and took candid pictures as well as posed ones. I have so many memorable photos of my son and guests that look amazing! Lauri is professional and not only is she gifted she is easy to work with. She was amazing and I cant say enough about her and her work. Lastly I would like to mention that she had reasonable pricing and photo packages to fit any budget. You want a great memory captured Lauri is your girl! Thanks again LLM!

I used LLM last year to help me turn a bunch of photos and video clips in to one professional video. It was all from a day spent learning a recipe from my Grandmother and I wanted something to pass on to my cousins. I had thought I could figure out how to do it myself but was overwhelmed at the complexity so I turned to Lauri at LLM. OH MY GOSH — she did such an amazing job! She took the memory stick of pictures and video clips and spent some time with me as I explained what I envisioned. She nailed it! She put together a DVD with awesome graphics and music that really captured exactly what I was looking to have: a keepsake of my Grandmother making one of her prized recipes. My family all really enjoyed and appreciated the DVD. The price was very reasonable and I was so impressed!
I went back to Lauri with LLM just last week again for some help with a family photo we’d taken during the holidays. We had tried to capture a moment with 17 people and two dogs and you know how that is, trying to get everyone looking forward, smiling, and not blinking! I sent Lauri 4 photos to work with and she was able to take one and edit it so that we were all captured with our best smile. The photo is now frameable and will be treasured for years to come!
