I had a slab leak in my home and was faced with a complete kitchen and flooring remodel. Was referred to Masing by a friend who works for a large home builder and Masing does work for them. Boyd came out and gave an estimate for the complete job and was very detailed and straight forward about everything. His staff of trades and employees that worked on my home were all very friendly and went above and beyond at times to make sure things were done right and in a timely manner. I am extremely happy with the final outcome of my kitchen remodel and would highly recommend Boyd and his company’s work.

I hired Masing Construction to replace my three east facing French doors in the dining area facing the backyard. The doors were over twenty years and in bad shape. I recently put in a pool and wanted to update the look. I chose two Migard sliders and a Hugh picture window for the middle.
The crew completed the install in less than two weeks. I was so pleased with the result. The workmanship was great and each one took pride in the job. My dining room looked new. The stucco repair was terrific, they matched the color perfectly. There were no surprises or cost overruns. I would use Masing construction again if the need arises. They were very professional.

They redid my kitchen, which was a hassle in itself, but it does look great in the end– except the electric breakers keep going out– which is their fault. The reason they get 1 star is the way I was treated.
1– Being a female, they were very condescending to me, and treated me like I was stupid.
2– They kept adding more onto the bill.
3– I had MAJOR issues with their electrician that they used. This electrician was only supposed to wire the kitchen area and another room behind the kitchen. Also kitchens are supposed to be on a completely separate breaker from the rest of the house. He didn’t install things properly, was brought back to fix some issues, and when he did– he was annoyed, rude and in a hurry. So what happened? Now my kitchen wiring that was separated– is NOT separated so when I run certain appliances and have the lights on in the family room and tv– the circuit blows. This happens all the time– very frustrating. Boyd came out to inspect it– and immediately said– «We didn’t do this, it wasn’t my guy,» when I have documentation that shows what day his guy was there and indeed it WAS his guy. What happens when we call his electrician on the phone? Well the electrician talked over me, wouldn’t hear what was going on, then hung up the call. Boyd refuses to fix this issue. We spent over $ 25,000 on the kitchen remodel, but of course he’s already been paid and they won’t fix it so the circuits are separated. REALLY?
4– They absolutely won’t resolve any issues after you’ve paid them in full– GOOD LUCK with that.
I am absolutely HORRIFIED at the way I was treated, and their customer service is disgusting.
What kind of «Professional» comes in a house and says immediately without even looking at the circuit box– «We didn’t do this?»
Then to have his electrician hang up the phone on us in mud sentence is totally unprofessional.
He never even took a look at the breaker box either. Im left to deal with this on my own– really?
Speaking for all the women out there– BEWARE of this company!
